The belly breathing technique involves placing one hand on the chest and the other on the stomach. By taking deep breaths, this technique tricks the body and mind into feeling calm and relaxed. During inhaling and exhaling, the top hand remains still while the lower hand moves in and out. Close your eyes, breathe in deeply, and feel the lower hand go out.
