The New York Knicks have made a trade to acquire Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks. They gave up Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Ryan Archidiokonwu, Malachi Flynn, and two future second round picks. The Knicks have been active in trying to improve their team and have been successful in acquiring players without giving up their first round picks. They have a deep roster with talented players like Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and Mitchell Robinson. If they stay healthy, they could be title contenders. Yo what's good y'all it's Jono back from Top Boss Central and in today's video we're gonna be going over the newest trade that went down for the New York Knicks and that is them acquiring Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks in a trade where they had to give up Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Ryan Archidiokonwu, Malachi Flynn, and two future second round picks. And honestly I really like this trade for the New York Knicks because I think they really got the better end of the deal and Bojan Bogdanovic is someone that is still hooping and he's at 34 years of age and he's putting up 20 plus points per game and him just being this like lower type of option on this team is really solid to have. And this team has just been so active like this whole season just trying to get people and they've been really just great at it because they've been able to acquire OG Anovi, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Alec Burks without even giving up one of their first round picks and it's just crazy to think how bad this Knicks front office has been for so long but they've just been cooking this whole season and they've just been getting so much better. This team is just looking great but yeah I can definitely tell that they are in like looking at a championship for this season or at least next season because they still have those first round picks like I said and they could still potentially trade for a superstar in the summer. And for example one of the stars that has been showing up kind of in the rumors and stuff has been Joel Embiid and I think he would just be an insane option to add to this team. And I just think that this Knicks team is the most deepest team in the league right now and this is just really exciting to see is you know I mean their roster is just so stacked is in their starting lineup it consists of having Jalen Brunson, Dante DiVincenzo, OG Anovi, Julius Randle, and Mitchell Robinson. And on the bench they got Myles McBride, Alec Burks, Josh Hart, and Bojan Bogdanovic. Also Preston Ciciuo at the power forward and at the center spot they also have Hartenstein and Jericho Sams. And this is honestly crazy because they have two all-stars in their starting lineup and Bojan Bogdanovic isn't far from that is I mean he's a 20 plus point per game score and he's coming off of the bench. And yeah I think at full health I think this team is very easily a title contender and I could easily see them winning a chip either this season or next season for sure because they have Brunson has been making insane strides these past years like this season he's obviously an all-star and he's just been putting up some crazy games for this Knicks team as he's been averaging over 27 points per game, 4 rebounds, 6.5 assists. He's just been looking crazy out there and it's just amazing to see him out there because he's just finding like ways to win and Brunson is just a really good true overall type of point guard he's able to create shots from the perimeter and also he's able to drive it in as well but one of the best things I'd definitely say is his overall ability just to create shots for himself and he's just such a dangerous overall elite type of efficient scorer and he's gonna cause problems for the league for the next few years to come at least and just really on the offensive end he's always creating something positive even when the Knicks are in like a scoring drought he's there to back them up and he's just been able to knock some shots like crazy shots down sometimes like even like one time I seen him knock down a shot over Victor Wimiyama from the perimeter which is honestly just really crazy to see and he's just able to provide that extra offensive spark for this team and they also have Julius Randle who's been putting on a all-star caliber type of season as well averaging 24 points a game shooting 47% from the field now at the start of the season Randle was really wasn't off to the hottest type of start but he has really just turned things around but he is injured right now but he'll definitely be back within just a few weeks I believe and we'll see Randle back to like his full form and he's been a pretty good scorer in the paint so far this season especially as of late and he's been able to really just create contact and be able to get a bucket after that while also being able to shoot from the perimeter as well they also have OG Inanobi who I believe is a very good key difference maker and just provides that extra wing defense that this team truly I believe needed and he also provides the ability just to score the ball as well he isn't just a defender because he's putting up a little over 15 points a game for rebounds and is almost shooting 50% from the field but yeah I mean this team is just making really good moves and it's just showing because whenever they got OG Inanobi their record just improved way much more than I think it truly would have been if they didn't get him because with OG Inanobi in the lineup they only lost two games out of literally out of January which was I believe of 14 games that they have played in that month and he also steps up in some pretty big moments as well from the time he's been here like in a game versus the Denver Nuggets he showed out and balled because he had 26 points six steals in that game and he was just an absolute presence and he just really showed why he is one of the top 3 and D players in this league and just a really good true overall type of wing and this team also does have Mitchell Robinson who I believe when he returns to full health he will be back in the starting lineup and back to being the really crazy rebounder that he truly is but I mean they also have Isaiah Hardenstein who's been in his place and he's been playing really solid as well who I believe I mean is a very good overall type of backup because I mean there's been a lot of games where he's gotten like 20 rebounds 15 rebounds I mean he's just putting up some really solid games like versus the Bulls he had 20 boards versus the Grizzlies he had 20 boards and he's been a solid rebounder in Robinson's place and it's just pretty scary it's pretty scary to see just how much depth they have at all these positions because I mean they even have Precious Achua who is a really just an insane overall third type of big or third center to have on this team they also have Josh Hart who I believe you know is a very solid type of forward coming off of the bench Alec Burks who they just traded for I believe he'll be pretty nice he's 32 years of age I mean he's put up like 12 plus points per game so that's pretty solid coming off of the bench in that rotation and I just believe if this team can get fully healthy they are the deepest team in the league and they are just so stacked especially whenever Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randle do make their returns back Julius will be back in just a matter of some weeks but I believe Mitchell will be back by the playoffs and personally I think we will see this team at least make the semifinals or be very close to making the finals because I believe they're up there with a Celtics now because of how much depth they have on this team with the addition of them adding Bojan Bogdanovich but let me know down below what you guys think you guys think this was one of the best pickups so far in this trade deadline or do you guys not really like this trade at all let me know down below and as always make sure to LIKE and subscribe and turn on post notifications and I'll see y'all in the next one I'm out
