The Milwaukee Bucks are struggling with a 3-7 record in their last 10 games. Their offense has been weak, especially with the addition of Damon Lillard, who is having a subpar season. Lillard's shooting has been inefficient, and if the Bucks want to contend, he needs to step up. The decision to hire Doc Rivers as head coach has been criticized, as he has a poor track record. The Bucks recently lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, a team missing key players. Rivers blamed the loss on the lack of available players. Overall, the Bucks are facing challenges and may not be a top-three seed. Lillard's struggles, combined with Rivers' coaching, have hindered the team. The Bucks need Lillard to perform at a higher level to have a chance at the championship. Yo what's good y'all it's Johnna back from Top Box Central and today's video we're going over the Milwaukee Bucks and their recent struggles and why I think they are in trouble. Now let's get right into it. So the Milwaukee Bucks are currently 3-7 in their last 10 games and honestly they just have looked out of it this whole season honestly and their offense just has looked really weak this season in my opinion compared to the previous few years. Especially with the new addition of them adding in Damon Lillard who I believe is not really having his best year obviously. It's probably one of his lower end years besides like one of his first years being in the league and he just doesn't look like his old self you know now being here in this new offense which I kind of expected him not to obviously play the best but these shooting statistics have just been horrible as he's been really inefficient from the field I mean the best game he's had in quite some time has been I believe like a 30 point game where he had a really good field percentage field goal percentage against the Mavericks but other than that most of the other games his field goal percentage has been really off the charts of just being horrible and if the Bucks really want any contention Damon Lillard is going to need to step up and just be more consistent overall as a really good high level threat and if you guys have not already make sure to like the video and just give the video a thumbs up if y'all have not because it lets us create more and more content just like this but yeah going back over to Damon Lillard he has not had the you know the best type of season obviously shooting just 42.3 percent on the season and he's putting up 24.6 points per game this year this is definitely a different type of Damon Lillard than what we saw on the Blazers last year because he's been used to playing for the Blazers just for so long he hasn't really been able to switch up to a different team I just think it's really tough for him to like to adjust and if Dame just can't figure it out and fix his overall shooting struggles I think it will definitely determine this Buck season and what they actually potentially can do and from the video that I made a while back whenever they did get Damon Lillard I thought he was gonna fit in nicely with this Milwaukee offense and I just thought from how good Damon Lillard was playing the previous year I thought this team was you know in the top three to win a championship this season but from how things are looking so far honestly I'm not too sure on that and I definitely wouldn't say they're in the top three right now especially for what they did and how they've been playing you know these past like 10 games especially whenever they signed Doc Rivers which I believe was one of the hugest mistakes firing their you know their head coach before which was Adrian Griffin who I believe was a decent overall coach and this wasn't a good decision for them to go pick up Doc Rivers who doesn't really have anything in his resume besides the 2008 championship which let's be realistic that team was great I mean you had Rondo, KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen and it was just a team that was just full of talent and just stacked overall but now this man is three and seven with one of the most supposed you know championship ready teams in the league or was supposed to be I mean this man is three and seven with the Milwaukee Bucks this isn't like it's the Detroit Pistons or some you know trash team this is like a championship contender we're talking about and I truly just can't fathom why they really got rid of Adrian Griffin whenever he was I believe second in the Eastern Conference most of the time this season it really just doesn't make any sense to me because I mean there really wasn't nobody on the market and Doc Rivers is a downgrade of anything and in the last game they just played versus the Memphis Grizzlies where they lost by three in a very close game which was a very tough loss I mean you're losing to the Grizzlies that don't have obviously John Morant, Jaron Jackson, and also Desmond Bain this is honestly just sickening to me because the Bucks should have won this game no ifs, ands, or buts about it in my opinion you had Damian Lillard and Giannis out there against you know this type of team and if we're being honest the Bucks couldn't get anything to go last night or whenever this video comes out you know I mean they shot 11 for 44 from three which is 25% to be exact and they shot 46% from the field which honestly isn't good at all neither but 25% from the three that is just horrible to see and they let the Memphis Grizzlies shoot 50% from three as well and they were able to knock a lot more things down in just 26 shots from the three and it's just honestly wild to me because I mean they really did lose to a G League type of team I mean there was no superstar on the court at any time of this game I mean Gigi Jackson was their best player and they let that man drop in 27 points and shoot six for ten from the three and he had a really solid game he didn't really pass the ball at all or rebound much but those 27 points definitely helped overcome the Bucks which is a very tough thing to do but Gigi Jackson has been a very terrific rookie for them honestly I mean for the 45th pick he was definitely worth it and he's only 19 years of age I think he has a really bright future but still I mean the Milwaukee Bucks with all that talent should not be losing to this team and Doc Rivers later came out right after the game and got interviewed and he said we had some guys here and some guys in Cabo which is technically meaning he's just making up excuses and throwing guys under the bus and saying they didn't have enough players playing to beat the Memphis Grizzlies and this just really proves why Doc Rivers was not the right option to pick if you were the Milwaukee Bucks because I mean he is definitely going to be the downfall for this team this season we've already seen what he's done so far and the amount of damage that he's done and yeah it's just pretty bad overall when your coach is throwing you know your own players underneath the bus but this team is just looking you know dismantled as of late I mean they're obviously three and seven you know he's been three and seven with them so far uh you know as a head coach and they've just blown a handful of double digit leads and if they keep going at this rate they're definitely not going to be a top three seed and that's a fact I mean I could definitely see them moving right down to the fourth seed within a matter of just like a week or so and this team is definitely like you know they was going through struggles before Doc Rivers had even got there because obviously like I said Damon Lillard has kind of been going through it and just pairing his struggles with how Doc Rivers has been coaching this team it has not been you know good at all for this Milwaukee team because Damon Lillard last night shot seven for 21 from the field he shot three for 13 on the threes and he had four turnovers as well in that game he shot one for eight from the field in the fourth quarter and also he did shoot zero for four from the three-point line in the fourth quarter as well that is just not good statistics and he has definitely been going through his shots are just not falling for him and you just know this team is at an all-time low right now because Zyre Williams outplayed Damon Lillard he made 27 points he had four rebounds and four assists and shot way better against a very tough defense he shot 69.2 percent from the field last night and so far in the Doc Rivers era uh they've ranked 23rd in offense 11th in defense and they have the 19th in net reading as well and honestly if this team wants anything to do with even having a chance of making it to the championship I would have to say Damon Lillard needs to look like the guy they actually traded for because this is obviously not you know what they expected and they've just managed to lose games to really just bad overall teams like the Trailblazers they also lost to the uh I believe the Miami Heat by like 30 points almost and lost to the Utah Jazz as well now let me know down below do you guys think the Milwaukee Bucks can overcome these obstacles and just be able to make it as a championship contender again like they you know everybody thought they was at the beginning of the year let me know down below if you guys think so or not and as always make sure to like and subscribe and turn on post notifications and I'll see you on the next one I'm out
