On Vietnam Airlines flights, smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited. Hand luggage must be stored properly and not obstruct the aisles or emergency exits. There are 8 exits in the cabin and life jackets are stored underneath or between seats. Familiarize yourself with the nearest exits and follow the safety instructions on the card. Welcome abroad! Smoking is not allowed on all Vietnam Airlines flights, including the use of electronic cigarettes. Please store your hand luggage in the overhead compartment and or under the seat in front of you. Hand luggage must not be obstructed in the air or the emergency exits. Your mobile phone, airport game console, receiver, transmitter, or Wi-Fi device, and portable electronic equipment must be turned off or switched to the flight mode and silent mode until disembarkation. You are not allowed to charge up your portable electronic device during taxi, take-off, or landing. For take-off and landing, please ensure that your seat back is in the upright position. Passing your seat belt, open your window shade, your tray table, footrest, personal monitor, and your personal items are stored. For your own safety, we recommend that you keep your seat belt fastened throughout the flight. Your seat belt fastened and unfastened like this, tightened by pulling the strap and unfastened by lifting the buckle. Seat belts for infants and extensions are available if required. Please ask your cabin crew. Oxygen masks in the cabin and toilet will drop automatically from the ceiling if they are needed. Please remain in your seat, reach up and firmly pull the mask down to activate the oxygen flow. Place the mask over your nose and mouth and breathe normally while securing the elastic band around your head. Only when your mask is secure should you assist children or fellow passengers. You are requested not to open the aircraft door without cabinet attendance requirement or not in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency, the escape path marking light will come on to guide you to the exits. In the cabin, there are 8 exits, 2 at the front, 4 in the middle, and 2 at the rear. The exit light signs are located in the ceiling at each exit area and door frame. Please take a few seconds to familiarize yourself with the nearest exits. In some cases, your nearest exits may be behind you. There is a life jacket stored in a pouch underneath or between seats. In case of water evacuation, remove the life jacket from the pouch, put it over your head and secure the tights firmly around your waist. Do not inflate it while you are inside the aircraft. The life jacket must only be inflated by pulling down sharply at the red top when you are at the exit. It can also be manually inflated by blowing air into the two mouthpieces. A light and a whistle are attached to the jacket for attraction. A special life jacket for small children is available on board the aircraft. Do not remove the life jacket from its location without cabin crew requirement. Please take a look at the safety instruction card located in your seat pocket for more details. Thank you very much for your attention and we wish you a pleasant flight.
