Lake Forest Point is a family and pet friendly community in St. Lucie West. The residents are close to restaurants, big box stores, and entertainment and nightlife at St. Lucie West, but far enough to avoid the crowds and congestion. Lake Forest is also close to I-95 and the Crosstown Parkway, a new east to west parkway within Port St. Lucie. St. Lucie West is home for spring training for the New York Mets. It also features a PGA golf course. The Florida Atlantic University Campus, which contains a lifelong learning institute and community library, is also close by. The McKenzie Park is close by with a three-quarter acre dog park with fenced-in compounds specific to dog size. There are restrooms, soccer fields with lights, a large pavilion complete with power, tables and a grill, and a fenced-in playground. This park is also home to the Mako Soccer Club. There are 217 single family homes in Lake Forest Park. The homes are modern single family homes with large open concept living area, vaulted ceilings. All residents have access to the great community clubhouse and live swimming pool. The homes range between 1,482 square feet to 1,743 square feet under air.
