Two officers, Michaels and Nathan, are frustrated with people breaking fish and wildlife laws. They receive reports of a man in a Grady White 456 boat exceeding the bag limit for red snapper. They discuss the man's illegal activities, including interfering with fish migration. They plan to catch him but fail to do so when he goes deer hunting. They eventually spot him but lose him in a no wake zone. Despite their efforts, the man is never reported breaking any laws again. The man on the boat, a detective mystery. Officer Michaels is in search of a man who is continuously breaking numerous fish and wildlife laws for his own pleasure. In the FWC office, Officer Michaels and Officer Nathan are having a conversation. You know Nathan, I'm so sick of people hunting and fishing out of season and exceeding bag limits. Yeah, you know, it's just so hard to catch them. It's just so frustrating knowing that there's so many people out there exceeding their bag limits. It's so much easier to find people keeping fish out of season than the people who are exceeding their bag limits. Hey Michaels, we've gotten a couple of reports of someone in the Grady White 456 bagging red snapper at the reefs of the coast of Marca. Not surprised, every year there's always a few people. Yeah, someone said he bagged five red snapper yesterday. Jesus Christ, five red snapper out of season, that's ridiculous. The limit in season is only two. What the hell is this guy thinking? I guess he wants to go to jail. Yeah, I don't know. Damn rich snobs, think they can just do whatever they want and get away with it. Officer Michaels stands on the officer's boat with his binoculars staring out onto the water. Damn it Nathan, I know he's out there somewhere. I know Michaels, I know and we're going to find him, you just have to be patient. I'm tired of being patient Nathan, we need to find this guy before he causes more damage. He's overfishing every time he fishes and I just heard yesterday that he's messing with irrigation dams around our area of the Everglades to mess with fish migration. Oh, I didn't know he was doing that. Yeah, I know, but now do you understand why I want to find this guy so bad? If he's doing all that, I can only imagine what other wildlife laws he's breaking. No, yeah, you're right. Back at the FWC office. I just don't understand why we didn't see him Nathan, I mean today is the day he's been on the water for like the last two weeks and we went to all his usual spots and we didn't see him at all. Hey Michaels, we got reports of your guy hunting deer out south of the estates near Picayune Strand while y'all were on the water. That's why we didn't see him when we were out there Nathan, he decided to hunt today. But why hunt? It's the middle of May and deer season doesn't open until the end of September. He probably knows we're on to him and didn't want to chance it out on the water, so he decided to go hunt. I mean yeah, but why hunt? He'd have been better off to just stay home. I mean, he's gotta know it's not deer season and now we can just charge him with more when we find him. I don't know, maybe he thinks we're just never going to find him and he can do whatever he wants. Maybe he's one of those people that does illegal stuff on purpose and enjoys trying to run away from the authorities. I don't know Nathan, but I swear I'm going to find this guy if it's the last thing I do. Right out on the water, Officers Michael and Nathan are on the hunt for the mystery lawbreaker. Officer Michael stands on the front of the FWC boat looking through binoculars out at the water. I can feel it Nathan, today is the day. Today is the day we're finally going to find this bastard. Me too, this is going on forever. I'm ready for it to be over with. Nathan, I think I see him. Really? Where? Southwest, about a quarter mile. Grady White 456 with Quad Mercury 400R's. Yeah, that's definitely him. Alright, lights and sirens, here we go, let's get him. Dammit, he's running. Don't worry Michael, we'll catch him. Yeah, I sure hope so. Oh shit Nathan, he's turning into the channel. The no wake zone starts a half mile from this inlet. We have to catch up to him before he's dead, because God knows he's not going to slow down. Yeah, I know, and we're still quite a ways away from him. Damn, here's the no wake zone Nathan, we've got to slow down. Yeah, and there he goes. Man, I'm sorry we didn't get him Michael, I know how much you wanted to get this guy. Yeah, it's alright Nathan, there's just some people you never get. After almost three weeks of hunting down this mystery man and coming so close to catching him, officers Michaels and Nathan were unable to catch this mystery lawbreaker. They lost him heading into the no wake zone of the channel that day, but there were never again any reports of that same mystery man breaking any laws ever again. Thanks for watching!
