Heather and Nicole discuss the reality show "The Valley" and share their opinions on the different characters. They talk about Jax and Brittany's relationship, the drama with Janet, and the dynamics between the cast members. They also mention their thoughts on Kristen and Luke's relationship, as well as potential changes they would like to see in the show. They speculate on the future of the show and mention the after-show discussions. Overall, they express their opinions on the characters and their experiences watching the show. Hi guys! Welcome to Reality Bites with Heather and Nicole. I'm Heather. I'm Nicole. And today we are going to talk about everything The Valley. Yes. It's the most boring show ever, but I had to keep watching it because of the whole Jax and Brittany situation that came out prior, which we weren't sure was if it was a publicity stunt or what, but it seems to be real. Yeah, no I agreed. So yesterday when we said we're gonna do the vodcast, I was like, okay I can get into The Valley. And I looked and I was like, oh shit I stopped episode 6 and they have like 12 episodes out. So I had to binge watch it last night and today and it was painful. Yeah. I feel like everyone who didn't make Vanderpump rules was pushed to The Valley. Oh for sure. And it's like, yeah you're not sexy and young anymore, so we're gonna put you on The Valley to be parents. But yet they weren't really anything about the kids. It was more old people drama. Oh yeah. And the fact of it is too, is they were still trying to act like they're on Vanderpump rules with, who was the pregnant lady? Oh gosh, what was her name? Was it Janet? Janet, yeah. Janet is like the ultimate shit starter and then she looks so innocent and because she's pregnant nobody's gonna really yell at her. I can't stand her. Same. At all. Like her and him, Jason? Yeah. Cute but should probably be bumped on off. I think they should probably bring Sheena and Lala over to The Valley, spice it up a bit. Okay. And I think Janet and Jason should be off. Yeah. And I hate to say it, me and Danny too. I love them, they're the sweetest little couple. Yeah. But at the end, seems like you might have a drinking problem that's been hidden for the whole season. I don't know if you got that. Yeah, normally she can make an excuse by saying like the babysitter needs to go home. Yeah, we need to exit. Which is probably good on his part because they look like they didn't argue and it looks like a well-kept marriage. But then at the end I was kind of scared for her. Rude. I don't think so. I honestly feel like he just has a lot of built-up problems because she is very, you know, outspoken now about her postpartum depression. I don't think so. Yeah. And I think that he didn't want to talk about his feelings when obviously his wife is going through a lot. And I see how much love he has for her and I think that it's just, it ended up coming out when he's drinking and talking to his friends and stuff. I call that liquid confidence. Yeah. And it makes you look stupid. Agreed, yeah. I don't want to say that it was scared for her because then that comes off like if he's abusive. I don't think that at all. I just feel like I wonder what she deals with or is he drinking at home too. But I can also see not only do they have one child, they have a set of twins and now they have three. Yeah. And how that can hurt any kind of marriage going into it. Yeah. Yeah, no. I mean, I don't even, from what it looked like to me, is that he doesn't normally drink. So when he does drink, he drinks a lot. And then, yeah, these built-up feelings probably come out. But she knows when he's about to hit like a max level. So she just is his guard on that and it seems to work. He doesn't seem to, he never gets upset and says that he doesn't want to leave. He's like, yep, we gotta go. You know, like he knows too. She's the one. Here's my limit. Yeah. Let's exit. But then, poor thing, they were staying there so they couldn't exit. And it was like, nope, you're about to face reality and shit's about to get ugly. So, but hey, you signed up for reality TV. So this is what it is. So what are we thinking about Kristen and Luke? And can I say, I believe Kristen. I feel like she's not as crazy as everybody makes her out to be. I think she has a lot of secrets in her pocket and people can't stand her reality. I don't know, man. Like, she's even said, I don't use my words correctly, right? So she's like, oh, she's had a boyfriend for the last year. What she meant was, she had a boyfriend a year ago or something. And it's like, oh, okay, yeah. I don't know. I think that she does really want to spice things up. I think she thinks that that is her role in the valley. And so she tries to be messy. I don't know. It's just making her the villain and unlike. I still don't like Janet. I don't like how she was bullying Kristen or any of them or Zach. Zach is funny and he should be on BPR. Like, he has no business on the valley. Yeah, yeah. I mean, he's all drama. Yeah, drama, spicy, good-looking, go to BPR. And Jasmine, too. Like, you're a kid, you're young. Jasmine, go back to Vanderpump. But be a castmate over there, I feel like. You know what I mean? Like, some people just don't have any business on the valley. I feel like it's a retirement show. Yeah, and honestly, I don't see it coming back. Like, I don't know if they're already talking about it, but I think they are because somebody did an interview, I want to say Brittany, but don't quote me on that, where it was like, you'll see it unravel while we're filming the next season. Like, of their breakup. Oh. Because so far, I mean, me just Googling, Zach and Brittany aren't together. According to her source, she's already dating somebody. He's been dating someone, isn't it? Like, their therapist or something crazy. Shut up. He's such a dirty dog. Are you kidding me? For real, Google it. And then Danny and, is it Michelle? No, Danny is with Nia. Oh, yeah, sorry. No, so the other one. Oh, Jason? No, not Jason. Jesse and Michelle. Jesse, yeah. Yeah. All these J's. I know. Yeah, Jesse and Michelle also no longer together. They didn't need to be together. No, definitely not. And I think she was absolutely cheating the whole time. Oh, yeah. But I'm sure he was super douchebag, and she called him a douchebag. Yeah. On camera, like you're talking about your husband, and then him with the Burning Man girl. The one who was like selling the mermaid fashion show. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Where he's like, I want you to be my wife, or can you be my wife? Like, it was like a little flipped in. I was like, I would kill you. Yeah. And obviously, you're new on TV, because everything that you say is gonna play back eventually. I'm curious to see how that reunion goes, or if there is a reunion. I don't know if there's a reunion, because there would have already been one, right? Or like a talk of one. Something. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe they decided not to do it. But what I love more about the Valley is like the Valley after-show. Did you ever watch those? I didn't watch the after-shows. Are they boring? No, there are more after-shows on everything, even the VCR after-shows. I've seen some of those. Yeah, they're more juicy, I feel like. Sometimes they actually, because they'll replay clips that sometimes didn't come off right, or we maybe had questions, and they'll talk about those, and then that gets like the real nitty-gritty of it. Yeah. And they were funner? I think so. On the show? Yeah. On a lot of, even VCR, because that kind of was a little boring for me. I know. Vanderpump was a little slow for me. Yeah. But I still love Vanderpump. I have hopes for them, but they need to spice it up a little bit, and we'll get on that next. Yeah. So, Luke, what are you thinking of Luke, Kristen's new beau that she has going? I don't know. I think that it doesn't fit. Him being there does not fit. Like, he's a country boy from Colorado. Yeah, and just, I mean, I don't know. I think maybe Kristen needs to go and live in Colorado with Luke. Yeah. I think it'll calm her down. I think that it will. She was looking a little older this season for sure, so definitely deserved a spot on The Valley. I still love Kristen, but yeah, maybe you're right for reality TV days. Like, she needs to go settle down up in the mountains with her dogs and have a baby. Yeah, and you know, maybe if they want to try to follow her and Luke, but I mean. Who the hell is following them to Colorado? I don't know. Oh, you mean like the TV people? Yeah. I thought you meant the cast of The Valley. Okay, no, they're not. They're like, you can't even get these people to move to Santa Clarita, and you want them to move to Colorado? No, no, no. Follow her in the mountain. I'm like, oh, that's far-fetched. Yeah, yeah. You know what else I learned about Jasmine is she is like a little reality star herself. Like, she's not new to TV. She was on Bachelor Nation. She's a former cheerleader, and then she was a server at SUR, and I knew some of that. Yeah. But I was like, okay, so she has no business being on The Valley. She needs to go and spice it up on VCR. Well, yeah, because she has a partner, right? Yes. Yeah, I think that would absolutely spike. Like, put a new couple in there with all the other couples because the other couples are becoming a little boring now. Yeah, and then put some diversity in there. Yeah. You know what I mean? I think that's what they need, and it would be great. And same with Zach. Like, Zach should also go on VCR to spice it up, but what do you think? Because Zach came in as Brittany's best friend, right, from Kentucky. Well, yeah, and then, well, I thought Kristen said that she met Zach through Brittany, but then her and Zach became closer. Way closer this season, right? And I'm wondering if Brittany has, like, some kind of resentment against him now that he's kind of on TV, and that's her best friend. She brought him to the group, and now he's more Kristen. And I don't know. I feel like I've seen a little bit of a different side to Brittany this year. I feel like she's a little bit more fame-focused. Really? I didn't get that vibe at all. What are you getting? I'm feeling Brittany's being a little different, a lot more plastic surgery, face is looking a little grinchy. No, I didn't get that at all. And I love Kentucky Derby, but, yeah. Yeah, no, I thought that she was really going, it looked like she was going through a hard time. For sure. Did you see how Zach talked to her? Like, I would have punched him in his face. Yeah. Like, if that's, I can't even imagine, if he's doing that in front of, first of all, the camera, but a group of your friends, like, what the hell is he doing behind closed doors? You can tell he's vindictive, he's a narcissist, he's a liar. So, not only are you treating her like that, you're also cheating. Like, that's not far-fetched. We've seen it all, VPR, before Brittany, during Brittany, after Brittany, and now they're married, it's unfortunate, but, yeah, I'm just, can we cancel Zach? Yeah, I know. What does he need to do? Because he tried to portray this changed man, and that he, like, he could talk down to Sandoval when there was Sandoval happening, and yet you are now a focus of a show that you definitely broadcast how you treat your woman, and for you to treat her that way is just as bad as if he's cheating. Honestly, or worse, because you're, like, emotional turmoil every single day. I feel so bad for Brittany. I do, but I do feel like she's changed a bit. I'm not saying a whole bunch, but there's a little change in Brittany, where it's like, okay, I'm used to the cameras now, and I need things a certain way, and I'm sure that grows with reality TV. Yeah. But, Jack always has to be the center of attention. Like, he was even wearing this sweater that says, like, I'm the number one group in the guy, or the guy in the group. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And I think that came from VTR way back when, and now it's his shirt, and I think he thinks in his mind that he's, like, the creator of the Valley. Oh, yeah. Like, this is my show. This is my show, and you guys are lucky. You're lucky that I had you come on this show. Yeah, and I feel like that's how his marriage is with Brittany. Like, you're lucky to be married to me, or when he was like, do you see the house that I got us? And she's like, hold up. We put the same amount of money in. Now, in my head, I'm like, is it true? I'm trying to think, like, is she making as much as Jack makes if he's been on TV a little bit longer? Yeah, but I don't think that he invested the money he made. You know what I mean? Like, he seems like someone who probably spent his money on some extracurriculars. You know what I mean? Three times. Yeah, well, there's that. But, yeah, I think absolutely it's possible, because she did kind of pick up the slack after he got fired from VCR, and she had deals with, I think, like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig or something like that. Oh, yeah, I've seen that. It's true. So, I think that absolutely it's possible. Okay, I like that. Well, that's Jack and Brittany's story. Yeah, I mean, and who was the other? Oh, no, I think that was it. You know what I mean? How forgetful? Yeah. It was so boring. I know. I hate to see it. I thought it was going to be, like, really good. And again, I tuned in for Jack and Brittany. So, maybe they are, like, the focal point of it. But I don't know. I also like the drama. I think who brought the most drama is going to be Jesse and Michelle. For sure. And I just would have loved to see Luke and Jesse go at it. Oh, my God. They kept almost going at it, like, just go at it already. Maybe that'll make it a little bit better. Jesse has an anger problem. No, for sure. I wonder what Michelle dealt with. And now he's also changed, because he went off to some retreat. And got high. Oh, my God, when he came back, I was laughing so hard, because it was so ridiculous. He was like, oh, just give me your hug and stuff. Like, if he was really that changed. And she's like, yeah, it lasted, like, a week. Get off me. I just called my other boyfriend. Yeah, right. You're going to smell my other boyfriend on me. Oh, my God. It was fringe, though, at the end, that last episode, where it was like, are you still attracted to me? And she said, no. And then she said, I'm sorry. I was like, yeah. Hurtful, but seen it coming. And he has no one to blame but himself. Yeah, I mean, we don't know what their relationship looked like before the Valley. But we all know that women are done way before they actually leave the relationship. No, that's true, because they're emotionally connected. Yeah, exactly. Your emotions have to be done, and emotions can turn off real quick. For sure. And then you still go with emotion, because you're like, maybe this can work, because girls are a little bit more nice and empathetic than men. Yeah. And then it's like, no, but sorry. You don't have us emotionally. You didn't get the banana anymore, either. Something's wrong. Oh, yeah. No, 100%. Yeah, I think she definitely did try for the kids, but I think she left it probably too long. And then there was a lot of resentment from both ends, actually. It just looked like a very toxic relationship. So I'm glad that they finally ended it. Yeah. She's so pretty, too. She is. Is it Armenian to Mexican or Persian to Mexican? Oh, I have no idea. Yeah, she's a mix of something. Super pretty girl. And same with Nia. Nia, I was going to say. She was like Miss America or something. And she's a black belt or some crazy shit. She'll whoop that up. I know. I was like, she's the full package. I kind of have a little crush. Right. You know, she's beautiful. Yeah. But I was just laughing at Janet and Jason. I mean, I just kept hearing her be like, I'm done. I'm done. That was like her word. I'm done. And then he was just always like, yeah. Yeah. He was. I don't know if you go back to the clip. He's like the hype man. Yeah. I just kept reading. I was like, they need to do some kind of meme on them both because she's always just like, I'm done. I'm done. And he's like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like anything she says is yeah. But so if you can bring back, is there anything else that you want to say about the Valley right now that we really didn't hit on? No, I mean, there wasn't much to hit on. There really wasn't. I feel like we summed it up in one. It was a bunch of non-drama. Yeah. Irrelevant drama. We want to see more kids, I would think. If you're going to do a retirement to the Valley and be like, I'm on here because I'm a parent living in the Valley now, then show us being you, you know, you being a parent, hanging out with your kids more than this weird adult drama. Yeah. I mean, I won't watch that, but yeah, that could be a thing. Like maybe if they switch the network to like women's network or something and it's them with the kids. I'm just trying to think like, I guess that's what I was thinking that it was going to be, right? Like, it's, hey, we're retiring from BPR. We're going to go to the Valley because we're grown now. We've bought houses. We have children. This is us as parents or business people, maybe because obviously Jack opened their bar. But I didn't see any of that. I seen like a bunch of irrelevant drama and a pregnant person going on a tangent all the time. For a little, oh my God, I do have something to say. The whole stalker thing was Zach. Where Jana's like, is he here? Is he messing with me? Do you see his location? And he messed with them and pinged Big Bear Blake. Oh, yeah. When she had the trip and I'm like, okay, girl, calm down. You're not Beyonce. Like, I'm not going to pop out on a bush on you to be like, surprise, it's me, Zach. Yeah. Oh my God. I'm scared to ruin your baby moon. Like, get a life. That was so dramatic. It was probably the most dramatic thing of the season. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, she always had those little tantrums though. And like, she would, I'm starting to do it and start crying in the bedroom. And Jason came and was like, yeah. Yeah. And it calmed her right now. You know, she's, you see, you said it. I'm done. That's like her. She needs a shirt that says done. And he needs one that says, yeah. Yeah. That'd be perfect. Okay. So if we brought the Valley back though, what kind of cast would you want on there? Who are we X-ing? Well, we already discussed that we do not want Jason and Jana back. Yeah. They don't have a storyline. Well, I mean, now that she's not going to be pregnant though, actually it might be good. She might be more dramatic. And people are going to come at her more because nobody's going to come after a pregnant lady. That's true. That's just mean. Yeah. So bring her back. So bring her back. Let's see. You can bring back the Jessie and Michelle because they're going to be single. And I would love to see, yeah, them try to bring their new partners into the group. Cause so that'll be, I think absolutely we need to keep them. I don't know if they have new partners. Not yet, but I don't think they're filming it. Right. Or are they? I don't know. But we want Jessie and Michelle back. Cause that would be dramatic. Throw in Lala and Sheena because Lala will flirt with anybody and anything that might stir up something there. And she has a loud mouth. So, and I would love it because she has kids and she's pregnant in an unconventional way with her doing it herself. So it kind of adds like a different reality for her too as a single mom. And I would love to see her start dating too. And who knows if it's a woman or man or both or whatever. I think it would definitely spice that up. So we got on our fantasy cast. Yeah. Sheena needs to go there too. Cause Sheena and Lala are best friends anyway. I think they, oh, well, they just bought homes like next to each other almost. Next door to each other. So we bring Sheena and Barack, Lala, right? Retiring from VCR, putting them on the valley. Jackson, Brittany, cause they're separated. Me and Danny, I think they need to live their sweet little life not on camera. I don't know. I love them. I love them. I love them together. Minus the little fat we had at the end. I do love them. I think they're a couple goals. Yeah. I think that you need, you need a good couple in there though, to like, you know, balance out the toxicity. Is it going to bring them down? Cause I feel like we went in with, what was it? Three or four couples, right? And only two are left standing. Jackson, Brittany, no longer. Yeah. Jessie and Michelle, no longer. Yeah. I mean, Jan and Jason are there. Kristen and Lou, but they're going back to Colorado. Gordon and Nicole. That's where they belong. But who knows if you bring in your fantasy cast of Sheena and Lala back with Kristen, like how dramatic would that be? Well, I thought that they got along. No. Yeah, they do. But I also think that if anyone's going to call Kristen out for her shit, it's going to be Sheena and Lala or Sheena. It's going to be Lala. For sure. Yeah. And we'll kind of bring it down. I don't know though. We'll have to see. Who knows if there's a season two? Yeah. I mean, after painfully watching the whole season, I would like to see a reunion. Like reunion, where are you guys standing at now? What's season two going to look like? Who's coming back? Who are we adding? I just want to see all of that now. Yeah. I'm wondering if they're going to do, cause I haven't heard of a reunion. I wonder if they're going to do something where it's like, where are we now? Kind of episodes they do sometimes on like married at first sight and stuff like that. Maybe they'll do that. And that's why she's saying that it's going to be caught on camera. Cause that already happened. Yeah. So where's that episode at? Or is that, was the last episode what she was talking about? The unfiltered one or whatever. I liked it cause it was cussing. I was like, these are my people. I know. I didn't say cuss. I was like, did Britney just call him to tell him to fuck off? I was like, yes, fuck off, Jax. Oh my God. I think we all collectively as people want to tell Jax to fuck off. Yeah, for sure. He's just, he's such a egomaniac. It's insane. I just can't. I just can't. Yeah. You know what was the most fringe worthy at the end of that episode too, is like you said, how much shit he talks to the Toms and their bars and the this and the that and how he left that group because he was the number one man in the group. Yeah. And then did you see Tom Schwartz walk into his new bar at the end? Yeah. Boy, I've never seen so much ass kissing in my life. Oh my God, you're in my bar. It was like a famous person walked into his bar and he's like, I want to give you the personal tour. And he was like, okay. Even Tom Schwartz was thrown off. Like, oh Jax, is this still you? Yeah. This is weird. Yeah. I don't know. And I also think that it's sad because Brittany and Jax were doing so good. And I think the reason why they were doing so good is because they weren't on camera. I think as soon as cameras are involved, Jax becomes a different person. It gets to his head. We might see him start spiraling down again, especially with this bar, unlimited, you know, alcohol resource. Possibly. Is he going to start doing drugs again? Is he going to start just, you know, sleeping with random women? Not for sure. I don't think that's ever stopped. Yeah. I think that, yeah, cameras probably do play a big part for him, but I still think he was, he was typical, would know cameras and poor Brittany for whatever she had to live through. And yeah, little things to even put up with it. And I'm sure she wanted her family to work, but you know, at the same time, I think you got to do what's best for your kid. And she does look like a great mom. So I would just keep doing you, Brittany, you're going to have a good life with her without them. Obviously keep it sympathetic and, you know, co-parent together. Yeah, for sure. But I think she can still do really good things on her own. Yeah. Yeah. So we'll see. We'll see if they'll get back together, reconcile, or have a funny feeling they will. Yeah, I know. I'm like, it's never really over, is it? Not if you're on the same show, this is paying money. And then you got to think, is this just for fame and money? Is this real love? I mean, I feel like it'd be a sticky situation to be a reality TV star. They go through a lot. Oh, for sure. For sure. But I think that's about it for the Valley, because there wasn't much to it. Yeah, I keep saying there's not much to it. But then I'm like, I need to see a reunion. Yeah, I know. I need to see next cast. Because I feel like it only got juicy on the last episode. The very last episode. Yeah, because like you said, unfiltered, and they brought the cameras back and all these people were getting divorced and stuff. That's the shit we wanted to really see. They were getting up to it all season. And then finally, they just showed us like a tiny bit. I was like, no, you should have made this come out four episodes ago. So we have some time to really get into the process and be excited to see it. So like for all the people out there who listen to us, which is none right now. If you do, and you stopped at episode six, like me, because it was super boring. And then you have to binge watch it. Like, you know, hey, that last episode gets pretty good and gets you a little into it to be like, okay, what's next? So yeah, push forward. Yeah, forward. I mean, what else are you gonna do? But if you put comments, we want to hear your information. Who do you want to see back on the Valley season two, if there is a season two or what you saw? Yeah. Bye guys!
