Nothing to say, yet
In this transcription, Reverend Mary discusses the greatness of God and the importance of choosing to worship and serve Him. She emphasizes the love and forgiveness of God, using scriptures to support her message. She encourages listeners to turn to God, reminding them of the parables of the lost sheep and the prodigal son. Overall, she urges individuals to choose God and seek His blessings and protection. Hello, everybody. Happy Lord's Day. Hey, folks, this is Reverend Mary coming to you once again in the holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, from the Longway Ministries. This ministry was given to me by Heavenly Father on August the 14th, 2006. You know, and as a disciple of Christ, I am bound in the spirit of love and obedience to the will of God. To go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. That scripture can be found in Matthew, chapter 28, verse 19. Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. In Jesus' name, we come. In Jesus' name, we ask these things. Today, our message is, let God rescue you. It is a mind-blowing reality when you think about how many people have lived on this planet. The planet earth itself is a created marvel. Wow. Makes you wonder what God was thinking. He is truly the great creator, the master of the universe, the great king of kings of all the earth. I am that I am, and he is omnipotent, ever-present. Nothing is without him. All things are created by him. The scripture teaches us that if God did not do it, it was not done. Amen. Colossians 1, verse 16. For by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. For the thrones are powers. All things were created through him and for him. Praise the Lord. Just think, in all his greatness, he has the power over everything, all things, and yet, he gave us free will. He is dominant in power. We can do nothing without him. He gives us the very air that we breathe. Amen. Gave us dominion over every living creature on this earth, except of the human beings, except of one another. I am just pointing out how magnificent God is. Stay with me. All things were created through him and for him. If that is so, and I believe it is, that means that God created people to worship him and adore him. But down through the hours of time, we have not always, no, we have never been a complete joy to the Lord as a human race, but because of Jesus, we are not always loved. Thank you, Jesus. We are not always a disappointment. Thank you, Jesus. God set us free. That freedom involves making choices, deciding who we want to be, the lost or the found, under condemnation or saved by grace. The children of God are the damned for eternity. God forbid. Let us not be the ones to break the Father's heart. He is worthy of our worship, praise, and admiration. Yes, he is. And so much more. You know, there is a doorway that leads to out of darkness. There is also a pathway that you can take that is clearly seen. The way is brightly lighted and is paved with much love. Matthew chapter 7, verse 13 through 14. These are the words written in red. Enter ye in at the straight gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Lord have mercy. Because straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. We say, Lord, help us find our way to you, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Jesus goes on to make some things perfectly clear about the choices that we make, about what we will find on the path that we choose, because God has given us free will. Father, we pray that you will be, that your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Glory to God. Verse 15. Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravishing wolves. And verse 16 says, ye shall know them by their fruit. What is done in darkness, the Bible teaches us, will come to light. If there is something rotten in there, sooner or later, you'll smell it. Just the same as you, if you, if you, if you can, just the same as you can identify a pretty flower from a bunch of thorns and weeds. Clearly. Verse 17. A corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Jesus is still teaching here. A good tree cannot bear evil fruit. No more so can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. If the fruit is good, it will reveal itself, its true self. Amen. That good-for-nothing tree will be cut down and cast into fire. Jesus says, wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them. Well, you know, one day by the grace of God, you will see. I see you, your true colors. Jesus is, after all, all about truth. Amen. We know this. Let God rescue you. I love talking about how genuinely good God is, because God is beyond the shadow of a doubt. Good. You can trust human, you can't trust human nature, because we have flaws. Some of us are lost still, and some of us are sinners, saved by grace. Well, God makes the sun shine on all of us. We breathe the same air we breathe, and we leave this earth the same way. We all stop breathing. This is God's teaching. No one person is better than another. What makes the difference is if we are fortunate, if we are fortunate, it's because we are saved by grace. By the grace of God, our names are written down in the Lamb's Book of Life. We have been chosen. We now are saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost. We are empowered. We must help somebody find their way, because God is good. Clergy God, God is good. Now stay with me. Here we go. Do not be the one who breaks the Father's heart. You are so, so loved. He is waiting on you, looking for you. He has great plans for you. Hallelujah! He has great plans for you people. Luke, Chapter 15. These are the words written in red also. What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not he leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost, until he finds it? And when he finds it, he lays it up on his shoulder and rejoices, praise the Lord. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying, until they rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. This is spoken unto someone who no longer wants to be lost. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Jesus. I say unto you, that likewise, joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repented, more than over ninety-nine just persons which need no repentance. In verse 7. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Do you hear what the Spirit is saying, people? Come on. Listen. And you shall hear. This is verse 10. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repented. One soul now. Not the majority, not a whole group, but one lost soul that surrenders to Jesus. Come on somebody. Let's start living. Thank you, Jesus. The way, the truth, and the life. You know, we seldom hear this scripture. And it is written, remember? Book of Joshua. Chapter 24, verse 15. Listen. And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your father served, that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. In other words, people, in other words, you just keep on depriving yourself by worshiping false gods and disrespecting the one true God, condemning yourself. Let us say, not me, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Hey folks, let's choose to be loved, okay? And remember Jabez. First Chronicles, 4th chapter, 10th verse. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, O that thou wouldst bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldst keep me from evil. That it may not grieve me. And God granted him that which he requested. One soul. One soul. Pray for himself, and if you pray for yourself, God will hear your prayer. He will hear the prayer of a righteous man, and he will answer. That's taught in scripture. Jabez wanted his coast enlarged. And he's talking about the territory where he served the Lord. And he asked that God keep his hand on him. Because God's hand is security. God's hand made him feel safe, praise the Lord. And that thou wouldst keep me from evil. Keep him from Satan and his evil devices. Keep him, himself, from falling short and creating evil. So that it wouldn't grieve him. I understand that perfectly. And God granted him that which he requested. Praise the Lord. He'll do it for you, too. Remember, that's one soul now. Don't forget the prodigal son. The one who asked his dad for his inheritance. He gave it to him, and he went out into the world, left his father's house, and he squandered it all away, out there in the world. And you know what? Eventually, times got hard. Because he squandered it all away in the world. Times got hard. He was hungry, homeless, eating with the pigs, even. So, the parable of the prodigal son, also known as the parable of the two brothers, lost son, loving father, or of the forgiving father. I like that one. The forgiving father. This parable can be found in Luke, chapter 15, the 11th verse through the 32nd verse. Well, he made his way back home to his dad. Because one day, he had a moment of clarity. And he thought, I can go home. I can go home and I can just fall on my knees and ask my father to forgive me. Well, he made his way back home, as I said, to his dad, knowing that there was good food, clean beds, shelters, clean clothes, hot baths, you know, the stuff that we take for granted. But the good Lord has a way of opening our eyes that we might see. The stuff you have heard me talk about is the scripture. I kind of talk about it a lot because it's a reflection. I talk about this humbling story. And you know what? The father never stopped looking, waiting, longing for the return of his lost son. One day, he saw him coming toward him in the distance. The father ran to his son, held him in his arms, kissed him, so glad to see him. And he threw a party. He dressed him well, put a ring on his finger and rejoiced. He said, I thought he was dead, but he is alive. He was lost and now he is found. That was one soul, people, one soul, praise the Lord. The father said, make Mary be glad for this, thy brother was dead and is alive again and was lost and is found. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, people. A message for the church, indeed. The father welcomed him back, praise the Lord. You know, the father welcomes back slavers. And in humbling ourselves, confessing our sins, and repenting, repentance will win God's attention. You can count on it. Pride is not a spirit that God loves. Amen? Pride goes before the fall. God hates pride. Proverbs chapter 11, verse 2. When pride cometh, then cometh shame, but with the lowly is wisdom. Chapter 16, verse 5. Everyone that is proud and hard is an abomination to the Lord. Through hand, joint, and hand, he shall be punished. Why in the world would somebody want to be sickened to the Lord? Come on. Chapter 16, verse 18. Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Let us humble ourselves, people, before the throne of grace. Let's go to our knees in humbleness. You know, grace is some good stuff and we need it. In the book of John, chapter 4, 24th verse, I am reminded about the Samaritan woman with Jesus, you know, by Jacob's will. Jesus said unto her, Woman, believe me, that I will cometh when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem worship the Father. God have mercy. Please do not let that be said about us in the United States of America. Today is the day of salvation. Do not relax, my brothers and sisters and those who are searching for the truth. Do not relax and think that time will wait. It will not. God is good, slow to anger and quick to forgive. You know, time passes, it passes, life passes, but you need to put your hands in the hands of the man that still the water. He said, Peace be still, and he calmed the sea. Peter said, Master, if that is you, call me out. Let me come to you. Jesus held his hand out, told Peter, come to me. And Peter went out on the water because Jesus is able to call us out unto him. Please answer the call because I know he's true. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Something about that name. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. I know he's able, people. Jesus, I know he's able. I was the lowest of sinners. I walked into a devilish trap blindsided by the enemy. But Jesus came and got me. It is no secret what God can do. What he's done for others, he'll do for you. With arms wide open, he'll pardon you. It is no secret what God can do. God has manifested himself in this book called the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Life-sustaining words, a thought that will fight against evil in this world, that will sustain you, that will draw you into him and give you strength. Praise the Lord. Talk about overwhelming love, bigger, greater than the ocean. Dive in, people. Trust Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is our all in all. He is everything. He is life-sustaining. Without him, there is nothing. Remember, he is the Prince of Peace, Jesus. He is the Savior of the world. He is I Am, Everlasting Light, Wonderful, Counselor, Son of God. He is the Bread of Life. Hallelujah. Ancient One, Ancient of Days. He is Alpha and Omega. He is the Beginning and the End. All praise, all honor, and all glory be unto Him, from Everlasting to Everlasting. Jesus, the name above all names, life-sustaining name, Jesus Christ. How sweet it is! Back in October of 2005, I do believe, country music artist Brooks and Dunn came up with a song called, I Believe It Is Most Beautiful, talking about the words written in red. But the song is actually a story from beginning to end. There is a video that goes with that song, I Believe. Check it out. It will bless you. It will bless you. Trust me. Give an honor to God. It will bless you. I want to say this one more time. Let God rescue you.
