Written and composed in 1929 by Lethal A. Ellis, this hymn rightfully points out that God sees everything we do and keeps a record of all our sins. When we accept Christ as Lord and Savior, He blots out our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Lethal Albert Ellis was born in New Liberty, MS, Calhoun County. He was a widower, with one son, who he raised by himself with modest means. He remarried late in life. He had three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, eight great-great.
