The transcription discusses the plan of God and the birth of Jesus. The angel Gabriel tells Mary that she will conceive a son named Jesus, who will be the Son of God. Joseph is also informed of this plan and is reassured by an angel. The main idea is that nothing could stop God's plan. As we annually celebrate the coming of our Savior, Jesus, to earth, I always reflect on nothing could stop the plan of God. We're going to look at God's plan, God's purpose, and God's plan revealed. God's plan. We are familiar with the true story of the Messiah. Jesus sent by God to be the Savior, the bridge for mankind, to find their way back to true fellowship with heaven. God's foolproof plan was worked out according to the book of Luke's account. Now that's down in chapter 1, verse 26. An angel named Gabriel was sent to the city of Galilee, named Nazareth. A virgin named Mary, who was soon to be married to Joseph. Did you know Joseph's past relative was King David? Yes, that is true. The archangel Gabriel gave Mary a heavenly, favorable greeting from the Lord in heaven. Mary was troubled, but was comforted by the angel's words to not be afraid. The message, I'm sure, was overwhelming to her, that she could conceive in her womb. A miracle, immaculate conception, as man said. We know this to be true. God's purpose. You've heard the saying, if you want something done right, do it yourself. Nothing can be closer to this truth. God's foolproof plan had and is the only way to ensure it did not fail. God did not leave the birth of Jesus to chance involving earthly men. Things would have turned out much different if he had. We as parents, including myself, can have incredible protective instinct behavior over our offspring, child if you will. We don't like to see them suffer extreme hurt, harm, and danger. God's plan revealed. Let's take a look again at Luke. Luke's account, chapter 1. I'm going to start at verse 31. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the son of the highest. And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. Wow. There is no doubt, no dispute on what, why, and when God's plan is for man. The angel Gabriel further explained to Mary. The Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost as some say, shall come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee. He shall be called the Son of God. Amen. We acknowledge and celebrate his coming every chance we get. In the book of Matthew, chapter 1, verses 18-25. When God's plan was revealed to Joseph, Mary's husband, to be, he was probably overwhelmed and thought, how could this be? The angel of the Lord from heaven conquered him and assured him. In verse 20. To fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Yes. Nothing stopped the plan of God. Amen. Our Father's ever present. You know, this is Apicia Jordan. It's been our pleasure. We'd like to thank Robin and Matthew Anderson on prayer and share and invitation to intercede in prayer for our nation on NETA. And New Generation Christian Family Matters Podcast for making all of this year's presentations possible to you. God bless you as our prayer. Amen.
