In this YouTube video, Rohit provides tips for answering the common interview question, "Tell me about yourself." He suggests dividing the answer into three parts: personal background, technologies worked on, and current project details. For the personal background, Rohit advises focusing on education, achievements, certifications, and years of experience. When discussing technologies, he recommends mentioning only those that the interviewee is confident about. The most important part is explaining the current project, including its details, target audience, daily activities, and specific modules worked on. Rohit emphasizes that interviewers often ask follow-up questions based on the project insights provided. Hello Job Hunters, welcome you all on my YouTube channel. My name is Rohit and I'm here to help you guys to crack the .NET interviews. So we will start with the .NET questions definitely, but before going to the technical side of it, I will start exactly with the first question, which will be definitely, you know, common for all the interviewers. And this question will be, tell me about yourself, what are the technologies you worked so far and your role and responsibility in your current project? So I'm just putting this question because, you know, I saw many of many people doing mistakes while answering this simple question. So they are, you know, not exactly giving the answers as the interviewer expected. So and also we all know the famous quote, you know, the first impression is the last impression. So considering that into the mind, be very careful to answer this. So I will give you, I can suggest to answer this question. You can divide this into the three part. You can break this into three parts. So the first part would be tell me about yourself, you know, and the second would be technology you worked so far and consider the third like your current role and responsibility in the project. So if you, I mean, if I talk about the first question, tell me about yourself, do not give the, you know, answers like I'm from this state, I have this family member. So do not include this kind of answer to, you know, give the interviewer. You can simply tell the interviewer your graduation from which university and passing years, your achievements during the study time. Also, if you have any certification and the year of experience you are currently holding in the industry. So that's enough for the first part of this. So and now if we can give the answer for the second, which is just, you know, tell the name of technologies you worked. You have a good command over them. You know, do not take any random technologies, which you are not sure maybe interviewer will ask the question and you are not comfortably, you know, you are not comfortable to give the answer of the questions. And now the third and most important part, I will say why it is most important because the interviewer will ask the most of the questions from this section only. I mean, about your current project, your role and responsibility. So I will suggest just, you know, briefly explain this to the interviewer. I mean, your project details, what exactly your project is, what are the target audience for that, your, of course, your daily activity in the current project, like what technology is used and which part of the project you are working, which part, by saying which part, I mean, suppose if your project is large and it has multiple domains, that is not necessary. You have worked, you know, each and every module, I would say. So just explain the modules which you have worked and you have good command over them and you can ask, you can answer the questions if interviewer will ask from those areas. And so while doing this, that will be the enough for, you know, providing the information on this question. Based on this, interviewer will definitely ask the questions further from your project insights.
