The course aims to make individuals more aware of the needs of students and persons with disabilities. It covers the challenges faced by these individuals and the policies in place at both the international and national level. Hello everybody. My name is Professor Sarika. I am from the University of Jammu and today I will be talking to you about a course titled Disability Issues, Challenges and Policy Intervention. This is a course which all individuals need to study about so that they become sensitive to the needs of students and persons with disabilities and we are not only going to cover certain aspects and challenges which the persons with disabilities face but also talk about the policy interventions that we have in place both at the international and at national level.
