We will begin today's session with balloon breathing which can improve lung functioning and focus. Find a comfortable posture seated or lying down. Slowly close your eyes. Take a moment to focus on your breath, turning into the natural rhythm as it is right now. Shift your awareness to your lungs, visualizing them as they fill with air on each inhale and release it on each exhale. Imagine your lungs as two balloons within your chest. With each breath these lung balloons inflate and as you exhale they slowly deflate. Let's begin. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Inhale slowly, imagining the balloons inflating as you do. Hold for a moment, feeling the fullness of your lungs. Exhale slowly and completely, imagining the balloons deflating. Inhale again, hold for a moment and as you exhale continue to breathe at your own pace, maintaining the image of your lungs constantly inflating and deflating with each breath. Now, we will meditate that's designed to help you relinquish those feelings of self-doubt related to your affirmation. We live in a society that pressurizes us. There are so many expectations that are put on our shoulders and when we can't fulfill those expectations, we begin to doubt ourselves. We begin to think I'm not good enough, I'm not worthy, I can't. Whether we say that consciously or unconsciously, it has negative impact on our life. The key to overcoming self-doubt is changing the story, which comes from a simple change in perspective. If you can change your perspective in life, then it will allow you to change the way you interact with the world. This will change your energetic output and therefore you will be more receptive and then you'll be able to receive more from your life. What we are going to do today is we are going to tap into the unconscious mind. Unconscious states are achieved when we allow ourselves to enter an extremely relaxed state. This is when we become more influential. Now, I want you to start saying foreign statements as if you are saying them to yourself in your head. Repeat after me. I am powerful. I am strong. I am confident. I am worthy. I am just as good as anyone else. I am unique and special and I have worth. I am more than able to achieve my dreams. I don't need to doubt myself. I already know exactly who I am. I am going to let myself break down these walls surrounding my true self. I am going to free myself from society's expectations. I am going to rid myself of the pressures and anxieties that have been forced upon me. I am powerful beyond measure. I am not going to doubt myself for one minute more. When I wake up from this meditation and become more conscious, I will feel and embody these statements and I will feel truly capable. Now is your time. We will now be holding silence for the next few seconds. Embrace the calm and let your affirmation resonate within you, creating inner strength. Now is your time. Now is your time. Now is your time.
