Today's discussion is centered around AI and its applications in HR. The main areas covered include AI-powered recruiting, HR chatbots, AI-driven training, retention and engagement insights, and comprehensive analytics dashboards. In AI recruiting, AI tools go beyond basic resume scanning by utilizing natural language processing and machine learning to analyze resumes, social media presence, and portfolio work, providing a more holistic view of candidates. This technology can also predict candidate success and longevity within a company. HR chatbots offer quantifiable benefits by handling routine tasks, such as answering frequently asked questions about benefits or leave policies, resulting in time savings for HR and improved employee experience. AI-driven training and development personalize training by analyzing employee skills, roles, and career aspirations to recommend specific courses and programs. This tool aids in employee development and retention, and can identify skills gaps All right, so today we're going deep on AI and HR. Ooh, very cool. Yeah, and you know, we always want to make sure that as a product owner, you're thinking about how to best present these ideas to your BD and pre-sales team. Yeah, absolutely. And you know, today we're going to be talking about like five key areas. Okay, cool. So AI-powered recruiting. Okay. We'll talk about HR chatbots. Yeah. AI-driven training. We'll talk about retention and engagement insights. And then finally, those comprehensive analytics dashboards. All of the good stuff. Yeah. All the really cool stuff. So when we're talking about like AI recruiting, you know, we all kind of have in our minds, right, like those basic tools, you know, AI that are like, you know, sifting through resumes for you and that kind of thing. Yeah. I mean, it's kind of the first thing people think about, right? Right. Like, oh, AI can go through a million resumes and find the best candidates. Exactly. But it's a lot more than that. Yeah. So how, how would you, like, if you were, you know, explaining this to somebody on the BD team or the pre-sales team, how would you explain like, you know, how it goes beyond just that basic keyword matching? Yeah. So, so I would say, you know, like get into the details with them, right? And explain like these tools are really using like natural language processing and machine learning to analyze not just the resumes, but also things like, you know, their social media presence and their portfolio work. So, you know, it's kind of like getting a more holistic picture of the candidate. That's really cool. And, you know, when you're presenting that to potential clients, I think what's really going to get them excited is the idea that this can actually predict which candidates are going to be the most successful. Oh, wow. Right. Okay. And which ones are most likely to stay with the company. Yeah. That's a huge selling point. It is a huge selling point, right? Because they're not just hiring somebody for, you know, six months and then they're out the door. Right. They're actually looking for people who are going to stay and grow with the company. And it sounds like with this AI technology, it can actually help predict that, which is amazing. Exactly. Yeah. Okay. So moving on then to HR chatbots. Okay. I feel like everybody's talking about these and there's like, you know, a lot of, you know, I guess excitement around it, but also like, you know, there's some hesitancy too. Yeah, there's definitely some like, are they going to replace humans and that kind of thing? Exactly. And so how, how do you think we should be presenting this to, you know, the sales team and the BD team in a way that gets them excited about it? I think one of the best things you can do is focus on the quantifiable benefits, right? Okay. So instead of just saying, you know, oh, this chatbot's really cool and it can answer questions. Right. Talk about the fact that it can handle all those routine tasks, like answering FAQs about benefits or leave policies. Oh yeah. All that stuff that, you know, you have to answer over and over again. Exactly. Yeah. And you know, that translates into huge time savings for HR, which means, you know, they can focus on more strategic tasks. And it also really improves the employee experience. Absolutely. Because, you know, instead of having to wait for somebody to get back to them, they can get an answer right away. 24 seven. Exactly. Yeah. So, you know, I think those are the kinds of things that your pre-sales team can really hammer home. So instead of saying, you know, oh, this is a cool chatbot, we're saying, you know, this can free up X amount of HR time. Exactly. Yeah. And, you know, it can also really help with onboarding and offboarding. So, you know, guiding new employees through all the paperwork and, you know, getting them set up and all of that. Yeah. That's always a tedious process. It is. Yeah. And then, you know, when somebody leaves the company, you know, making sure that all their, you know, access is revoked and all their final paperwork is taken care of. And the exit interview and all that stuff. Exactly. So the chatbot can handle a lot of that too. Okay. Awesome. So that brings us then to AI driven training and development. So, you know, I think a lot of people have heard about, you know, personalized training and stuff like that. But how do we really break that down for the sales teams so they understand, you know, how this technology works? Yeah. So I think this is where you can really start to get into the wow factor. Okay. Right. Explain how AI can analyze an employee's current skills, their role, and even their career aspirations. Right. And then recommend specific courses and programs. That's so cool. It is pretty cool. Right. And, you know, your pre-sales team can really pitch this as a powerful tool for employee development and for retention. Yeah. I was going to say, because if, you know, if I'm an employee at a company and I feel like my, you know, my career is stagnating and I don't really know what I should be doing next. Right. And then, you know, the company comes to me with this, you know, AI powered system that says, hey, this is, you know, based on your skills, this is what you're good at. This is what you're interested in. These are some potential career paths, you know, for you. And here's some courses you can take to get there. I mean, I would be thrilled. Absolutely. And companies love it too because, you know, it helps them develop their employees. Right. And keep them around. Keep them around. Exactly. Yeah. And then, you know, another thing that's really cool about this is that AI can actually analyze skills gaps across the entire workforce. Okay. So, you know, instead of just looking at one individual, they can see, okay, we're lacking, you know, data analytics skills as a company. Right. So we need to offer some training programs in that area. And that's super valuable information. Yeah. It's extremely valuable. And it's something that your BD team can really highlight when they're talking to potential clients. So it's really about like seeing the big picture of your workforce, not just, you know, focusing on individual training. Exactly. Yeah. Okay. That makes sense. Yeah. All right. So let's talk now about retention and engagement. Okay. I think this is something that everybody wants to know about. Yeah. You know, everybody wants to keep their employees happy and productive. Yeah, for sure. But, you know, it's tricky, right? It can be. Yeah. Yeah. So what can AI do to help with this? So this is where things get really interesting. Okay. AI can actually analyze data from employee feedback. Okay. Performance reviews and even things like social media sentiment to predict potential turnover risks. Oh, wow. So it's not like, you know, it's reading people's minds, but it's looking for patterns. Yeah. And, you know, if an employee is consistently giving negative feedback or if their performance is slipping or if they're, you know, posting negative things about the company on social media. Yeah. That could be a sign that they're thinking about leaving. So it's like an early warning system. Exactly. Okay. And your BD team can really highlight how this allows companies to address concerns proactively. Right. You know, maybe they can have a conversation with the employee. Yeah. Maybe they can offer them some additional training or support. You know, there are a lot of different things that they can do. So it's really about, like, getting ahead of the problem before it even becomes a problem. Exactly. That's great. Yeah. Okay. So what about career pathing? Okay. I feel like that's another thing that is, you know, really important to employees these days. It is, yeah. You know, people want to know that they have a future at the company. Right. And they want to know what they need to do to get to the next level. Right. And AI can actually help with that. Okay. So it can analyze, you know, an employee's skills and their experience. And then it can show them, you know, potential career paths within the company. Oh, wow. And it can also give them personalized recommendations on how to achieve their goals. That's awesome. So, you know, maybe it'll say, hey, you know, you need to take this course. Or you need to get the certification. Or you need to, you know, get some experience in this particular area. Yeah. And this is a win-win for both the employee and the company. Absolutely. Because the employee feels valued. They know that the company is invested in their development. Right. And the company benefits from increased engagement and retention. Yeah. So this is another really great selling point. Okay, cool. So finally, let's talk about those comprehensive analytics dashboards. Right. They sound impressive. They are impressive. But, you know, how do we make them relevant to BD and pre-sale? So it's all about empowering data-driven decision-making. Okay. Right. So these dashboards provide real-time insights into all aspects of HR, from recruitment to retention. Okay. You know, they can see how many candidates they're getting, where those candidates are coming from. Right. How long it's taking them to fill positions. Right. You know, what their turnover rate is. Yeah. What their employee engagement scores are like. Right. All of that. So it's really like a one-stop shop for all your HR data. Exactly. Okay, cool. And what's really great about these dashboards is that they're completely customizable. So you know each company can track the metrics that matter most to them. So it's not like a one-size-fits-all solution. Exactly. Okay. And that's a really powerful message to convey to potential clients. Yeah. Absolutely. Because, you know, they're not just getting some generic dashboard. Right. They're getting a dashboard that's specifically tailored to their needs. That's awesome. Yeah. Okay, so I feel like we've covered a lot today. We have. I think the key takeaway is that AI and HR is not just about automating tasks. No. It's really about providing insights. Right. And empowering both HR and employees to make better decisions. Absolutely. Yeah, and I think that's a really important message you get across. It is. You know, it's not just about making HR's life easier. Right. It's also about making employees' lives better. Exactly. Yeah. So as you're thinking about these AI-powered solutions, you know, think about how you would tailor your pitch to different clients. Yeah. What would resonate most with a tech startup versus a large manufacturing company? That's a great question. Yeah. Something to think about, right? Yeah. All right. Well, thanks for joining us on this deep dive. Yeah, this was fun. Yeah. Always a pleasure. All right. Talk to you later. Bye. Bye.
