Details
This solo acoustic guitar composition aspires to encapsulate the essence of the vast, open expanses of the American Southwest. As a young lad residing in El Paso Texas during the 1950s, I frequently explored the desert and journeyed with my family across various regions of Texas and New Mexico. The composition aims to express some of my recollections from these formative and enduring experiences. The composition features four sections: an extremely slow-paced introduction, followed by a marginally quicker second segment, and a speedier third.
