It's been exciting studying the miracles of healing of two paralytic men but Jesus Christ is much more than miracles. The scribes and Pharisees were interesting groups who came to Jesus for all the wrong reasons but not to be saved. And in John 5 Jesus traced the root cause of their problems to spiritual purposelessness, lack of love of God and failure to study, believe and understand the essence of the scriptures.
