Book of Zechariah

Zechariah is the main prophet following the return of the Jews from exile in Babylon. Written in 520BC, along with Haggai their ministry was one of encouragement to a struggling people to look to the Lord and remain faithful to Him while waiting for the coming of the Messiah (Lord Jesus Christ) who would be both King and Priest. In the same way, God’s people are called to remain faithful to Him as we wait for the second coming of Jesus.
