Nothing to say, yet
The Denver International Airport is surrounded by conspiracy theories, including secret rooms, mysterious sounds, and ties to the New World Order. Stories from workers and interviews with the airport have fueled speculation. Two anonymous Reddit users shared their experiences of encountering strange and disturbing scenes at the airport. However, the reliability of these stories is questionable. The airport itself has embraced the conspiracy theories, incorporating them into its marketing strategy. Some believe this is a way to hide the truth, while others see it as a way to engage travelers. There are also various conspiracy theories surrounding the airport, such as the demonic Blue Horse statue and underground bunkers. While some of these theories may have some basis in truth, it is difficult to determine their validity. Hi and welcome back to a new episode of The Conspiracy Bros, yes, with me Svea and me Max. Today's episode is sponsored by Nocco, the Swedish energy drink. We are so thankful for that. Yes. The subject that we are going to speak about today is the Denver airport and the conspiracy theories surrounding the whole airport. Yes. The airport opened in 1995 and ever since the opening it's been rumors about what's been really going on down there, such as stories from workers and interviews where the airport embraces the speculations and theories. Yes. So we're going to start off by a summary of a story taken from a user on Reddit who claims to be an old worker at the airport and the story goes like this. The employee that works to maintain the train system at Denver International Airport, DIA, shares various conspiracy theories about the airport, including secret rooms, mysterious sounds, and ties to the new world order. The focus shifts to a locked door between concourses B and C, which every employee has a key for, but is warned to keep locked. One night, the employee discovers the door unlocked, leading to a mysterious room and a descending staircase. Below, they encounter a nightmarish scene of melted bodies and an ominous message. Witnessing a man in a black suit fighting off a monstrous entity after escaping and going through a decontamination process, the employee returns to the familiar room, exits the locked door, and is now haunted by the experience. They are unsure whether the government protects or exploits the hidden horrors beneath Denver International Airport. So, Svea, please, what do you think about the story? I think it's a worry, like, it's very unreal, I will feel. And I don't really know if I believe it, actually, because it's from Reddit, and that's like, anyone could write a story on Reddit. Yeah. I would feel like it might not be true. Yeah, it's not a very reliable source, because on Reddit you stay anonymous, people don't know who you are, you could just, you can never find out who the real writer is, so maybe he's hiding his identity because he don't want to be found out about not working there, or, hear me out, he could just be hiding his identity because he don't want the government to find out which worker that has seen every... But it could actually be the case that, like, he's not allowed to talk about it, or... Exactly, they're trying to silence him and he wants to speak about it, so he goes on an anonymous forum to write text. But yeah, we have another story, also taken from Reddit, from an anonymous user. Should we go through that one as well? Yeah, we can do that. The Norator, a new custodian at the Denmark International Airport, dismisses rumours and legends about the airport mysterious. One night, after mopping the floors, an empty train comes to the platform. The custodian enters the empty train, and when it stops, he gets off a platform he has never seen before. At the platform, it's just one man at a site that they maintain. He asks the man for directions. The man tells him to follow a certain path. The path takes the custodian through empty and spotless corridors. By accident, he takes a wrong turn and ends up in a room full of video surveillance. On one of the videos, the custodian discovers disturbing photos of a man who has followed the recommended path, being persistent and lowers into a mysterious hole. Fearing for his life, the Norator escapes through the corridor, narrowly avoiding pursuit and finally manages to bleed blood in with the evening's travellers, leaving the airport with a sense of relief. It kind of reminds me of the earlier story, you know, a worker going to the wrong place, seeing some mysterious and creepy stuff, and then just fleeing the scene and trying to get away. Yeah, we can see like a similar... Similarity, yeah, between them. And they're both on Reddit, which is this anonymous forum for people to stay anonymous while writing stories. We can also keep in mind that it's like years between the stories. Yeah, I think it's like, what was it, eight years between these two stories. So the rumours have really been going on for a while, as you can see. Yeah, we can also find many of these stories. It's not like just these two. No, exactly. These are just two hand-picked stories, and it's not representative for all the stories. There are hundreds of stories surrounding this particular airport, and there are many, many conspiracy theories, such as the ones we will read about later on, when we are bouncing down to the library source. But, as mentioned earlier, not a very reliable source, and we don't know any names, we can't fact-check everything that has been written here. We can just believe this anonymous man, who might be anonymous, to hide from the government. For another reason. For another reason, yes. But we could also find, like, relatable sources. Yeah, we can find sources such as Forbes, which is a really trustworthy source, because it has a very good reputation and history, and has fact-checking and review process, and very good transparency. Yes. But, yes, because there is an interview here with one girl who works at the airport, and in this interview they are talking about the theories, and the airport are embracing them, right? Yes. Exactly. Do you want to read this summary of this article? Yes, I will. Denver International Airport has embraced its conspiracy theories, featuring playful construction sites, openly referring to Illuminati headquarters, lizard people, liars, and underground houses for the elite during an apocalypse. The airport incorporates these theories into the marketing strategy, leaning into them during October, when it's interest in the occult peak. DIA's public information officer, Stephanie Fiorora, it was a pretty hard, like, yeah, and knows that embracing conspiracy theories helps connect with passengers, making the interaction more memorable. The airport's history of construction, delays, and baggage system in cruise has, issues has fulfilled various conspiracy theories, which official quarter with explanation for public art pieces, murals, and installations, during skepticism into intrude travelers. Despite some staunch skeptics, the airport approach has mostly revived positive response, adding a unique touch to the travel experience. Some even suggest that embracing conspiracy theories in marketing is a bold move that captures attention and engage travelers. And here we have a quote from Stephanie Fiorora. In the past few years, we decided to embrace them as part of our identity and as a way to go to better connect with our passengers. Yeah, I think this article is pretty interesting, actually. Yeah? Because here, like, in two ways. You can see it as them just having a laugh at all the conspiracy theories and just embracing it because, as mentioned in the article, they get a very good response from that. Or, maybe, they are just using reverse psychology, claiming them, because when someone, if they were to be true, they haven't lied. And they have just been playing, oh, yes, we told you all the times there is a secret layer, a secret headquarter underneath. They like laughing it off. Yeah, exactly. But don't you think, like, if you really have something that big and, like, it will be, like, the headquarter of Illuminati, don't you think you would want to hide it as much as possible? Yeah, but maybe it's... The best way to hide something is to hide it very clean and simple. Just hide it in the open. You know, when you lose your phone. Okay. The hardest way to find your phone is when it's just... In front of you. Yeah, when it is at a place you don't think it is, because why would I not find it? Yeah. So when they are just openly embracing the theories, it may help hide the whole... Yeah, it is a pretty weird thing, all of the signs, like... Yeah. We wouldn't see... We can't show you guys, listening to the podcast, these pictures, but if you search up Denver Airport International Conspiracy photos, you will find these big photos of lizard people drilling into the ground and... Yeah. Yeah, similar pictures. Others. Yeah, and as we can take from this particular article is that it's from Forbes. Yes. As we said earlier, very reliable, good reputation, very good history. It's also an interview with a person with a name who has a title at the airport, so we could just search her up, see if it's true, if she works there or not. Yes. So it's very, very more reliable than the earlier sources. And then we have a list of different conspiracy theories surrounding the airport. And this is from Denver Library, which also is a very reliable source because it's trustworthy, it has good history, it's fact-checked and reviewed. It's a very good source overall. And so there are very, very many... Parts of it? Yeah, but I will just mention the more interesting ones briefly. We have the Blue Horse statue, which is very famous. It's a blue Mustang, about 22 feet tall, outside of the airport with red glowing eyes. And people think it's a demon or a haunted statue because a part of the statue fell down and killed its artist and its creator. And so on, people think that with the red eyes, it could be a demon. But as this article says, the eyes are just a tribute to his father, who had a neon shop. So he had a repetition of very glowing things, neon signs and that, and that's why he used the red eyes. The blue Mustang just got some red eyes out of nowhere. But I think this is pretty interesting because it's like, a part of this is true. Like, it actually killed the artist. Yeah. And that might... So I think it's... Exactly, there is nothing really that can speak against this conspiracy theory because it killed its creator. It has the red eyes. The red eyes are still from the artist, but you don't know exactly. And there are such as underground bunkers and tunnels running over the whole airport. There are a Nazi runway model with the structure just similar to a swastika, which could represent a new world order. But the airport has gone out and said that it's because it's aimed to be as efficient as possible. So they can land and start planes with either weather. Yeah, okay. Like the way they built the airport? Yeah, so they can go in any direction. Yeah. So it's not a problem if the south winds are in or east winds. Yeah. But yeah, so after reading the articles and the stories, what do you think? I have like a really picture of that this conspiracy theory are like too far away. I don't think it's... I can't see that it's true because it's very extreme. It's not like a big small thing that people believe. They believe that it's like the headquarter for Illuminati and that it's like lesser people and so unreal things that I can't get around it. Yeah, I understand you. I personally think that it might be true because there seems like such a small chance of all these things just being at the same airport by coincidence. Because we don't have the time to go through all of these theories. But yeah, you know, there are like 20 different theories and then there are the stories which kind of correlates with some of the theories. And I just... I don't think all... it can be a coincidence that all of these... Yeah, not that all of these conspiracy theories just happen to be at the same place, at the same airport. Yeah, I don't... I'm not like 100% convinced that it's not true. But I just... I just feel like it's too extreme like the conspiracy. Maybe if it was like there is something going wrong under the airport, I would probably believe that. But when it's this extreme like lesser, you know, things that have never been seen, I have a hard time believing it. Yeah. I guess we just have to agree to disagree. Yeah. And let us know what you think at home, listening to this, so we can get put back and see what you think. Yes, so thank you for listening. Yeah, and have a good day. Bye.
