Talal Safar, originally from Bahrain, speaks English and Arabic. He loves Formula One and being around water. He wants to improve his business communication skills to become a CEO or manager. He struggles with writing but hopes this course will help. He prefers online courses because he can work at his own pace. Exams make him nervous, so being watched by a camera is less stressful. He is excited to meet his classmates and have a good semester. Hey everyone, my name is Talal Safar. I was born and raised in the Middle East on a small island called Bahrain. The current languages I speak is English as well as Arabic, however English is my first language. My interests are anything to do with Formula One and anything to do with the water. I enjoy boating or even just hanging out at the beach with family and friends. I'm taking this course as I believe it will add to my business communication skills and will allow me to come closer to my goal of becoming my own CEO later on in life or even becoming a manager at one of the big businesses around the world. And as I said, I feel like this course goes hand in hand with that. I do enjoy writing but sometimes find it difficult to put what I'm thinking down on paper. However, after doing a couple of writing courses over the last couple semesters, I've gotten better at doing that and I feel like this course will really help me push that to the side and start to write down what I really am thinking. Lastly, I have taken a couple of online courses before and have found that I am better at learning throughout online courses as I'm able to work at my own pace and go back if I need to. As in class, once you get lost, I feel like you're kind of, that's it, the class has moved forward and it's very difficult to kind of catch up. So I feel a lot more comfortable and confident when I do online courses as well as that, as well as that, yeah. Exams are not my strong point so being able to just be watched by a camera rather than a room full of people does help me. But yeah, I hope to meet all of you guys soon and look forward to a good semester. Take care.
