Now it's getting ready to be a spooky October for Halloween in Long Beach. Okay now if you're wanting to get the whole family into the Halloween spirit including your pet, Long Beach is the place to be. Okay! The 3rd annual Long Beach October Fest is held for the month of October Fridays and Saturdays with live entertainment, food and of course German beer. Now who doesn't love German beer? I don't drink but it's cool. Okay now the festivities get underway early in the day on Saturdays and Sundays with all ages admissions starting at 12 noon. Evenings are reserved for the 21 and older crowd. VIP admission includes parking, reserved seating near the stage, an official commodity stand and 1 plate of food and 5 drink tickets. Now returning for a 2nd year to the notoriously haunted Queen Mary's Shacktoberfest Festival featuring haunted trails, live entertainment, theme bars, lounges, carnival rides and much more will be in Long Beach from October 13th to October 31st. Now for tickets make sure that you guys log on to shacktoberfest.com. Shoreline Village's annual Long Beach zombie walk and Halloween party returns this Saturday October 14th. Festivities kick off at 4pm. You can join fellow flesh eaters for an all day family friendly festival. It's free, it's a community event, no tickets are required. Ok so Breachwood Brewing presents it's first Halloween costume contest this Sunday October 15th from 12pm to 5pm. Now you guys don't want to miss this, it's actually a free event for your entire family to attend. There will be including giveaways, DJ tunes, food, they'll have pup activities and all the spooky fun.
