Nothing to say, yet
The speaker welcomes listeners and expresses gratitude for their support. The program discusses the importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ, stating that being good is not enough to secure eternal salvation. The speaker emphasizes that good works and achievements do not guarantee entry into heaven. They caution against pursuing worldly success at the expense of one's spiritual life. The message concludes with an invitation to accept Jesus as one's savior and to live according to biblical teachings. Good day and welcome to another Jewel Radio Live program on the Jewel Media Network, as always, blessings to each and every one of you, wherever you may be listening from. Thank you for being on the inside with us for all the first-time listeners. I'm your boy, JC Vibes, and we try to bring, we try our best to bring you positive and motivational content that would positively impact your lives. I believe this is our first program for the new year, right, and so Happy New Year to each and every one of you, and thank you for all of your love and support, not just for the past year, but for the years gone by, right, and by the grace of God, as God allow, we really want to excel and do even more than we would have done last year and the years gone by, reach more people, et cetera, et cetera. So as you listen to this, I urge you to, you know, share it with as many people as possible so that even that it will be a blessing to you, I believe, it will also be a blessing to, you know, the people that you share it with. So the title of this program is Being Good is Not Enough, all right, title of this program, Being Good is Not Enough, and as usual, we're not going to be long, you know, but I felt that this program was needed, all right. Now, you might be wondering at the title, Being Good is Not Enough, right. Now, for those of you who may have questioned God at times, you know, you have a loved one that died, and they were very good to you, you know, you probably didn't have a bad thing to say about them, never get them in any problems, any, you know, any scandals or confusion with anybody and that kind of thing. I want to tell you that, and I'm going to be really, really just straight to the point here. I want to tell you that if you don't have Jesus in your life, if you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, it doesn't matter how good you are. It doesn't matter how many A's you would have gotten, how many degrees you have, how many, you know, bachelor and masters you may have. It doesn't matter your resume, your qualifications, your experience, in whatever field, if you do not have Jesus Christ in your life, don't have a relationship with him, you are lost, and if you die in that state, you will go to hell. There are a lot of good people in hell that may sound weird to you. You see, there's a scripture that says, God's ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are his ways higher than our ways, and his thoughts higher than our thoughts. A lot of things that we have a particular definition for, God has a totally different definition for that same thing. And so, a lot of things that we feel are okay, are not okay. You know, you see some people die, and they may have been a public figure or something like that, and you see people celebrating them and talking so many good things about them and stuff like that. But then, you look at certain things in their life, and we're not judging here, we're just observing, right? You look at certain things, and you realize this person may not have had a relationship with Jesus. And once you die without knowing Jesus, you are lost. There's no two ways about that. There's no gray area, right? There's no gray area there. And so, I see a lot of people that die, and they did this, they did that, they, you know, charity events, et cetera, et cetera, but they didn't have a relationship with Jesus. They didn't. And you hear people, some people, sometimes at funerals, and I dare to say a lot of people because I hear it a lot of times. I'm sure him or her, they're in heaven smiling down at us and stuff and stuff and stuff. We don't know. We don't know who went to heaven and who didn't go to heaven. We don't know until that day comes, right? Until that day comes, and some people speak as if they know for sure this person went to heaven, or this person went to hell, and we don't know. We really don't know. I remember someone that had a vision of heaven and hell, and in the vision of hell, they were shown a young man, and he had on his forehead, as all of them, it is said down their hearts, what they're there for, right? So people in hell, they have basically like a label on the forehead as to what it is they're in hell for. And the person saw on this young man's head, normal, and he couldn't understand it. And even when I heard it the first time, I didn't understand it until it was explained. He was in hell for being normal. That might sound confusing. But believe me, he was the type of person, like what I was just speaking about, he didn't do any major things, you know, that you might hear about with other people. He wasn't in any scandals, he wasn't in adultery, and all that kind of thing. But he died without knowing Jesus. Simple as that. He died without knowing Jesus. We are not created here for ourselves. We are not created here to live as we want, please ourselves, and you know, it is not about us, it is about God. We are created in his image and his likeness, and we are created to worship God. And if we die without having a relationship with Jesus, we are not going to spend eternity with Jesus. The Bible is very clear in multiple places in the Bible, it talks about that. It talks about the prerequisites, what is required of us to make it. So as I mentioned before, I'm not going to be long here, but I just want to put that out there. I just want somebody to know who doesn't know. I just want to remind somebody who may have forgotten, and I also want to remind my own self because when I do these messages, I'm not just speaking to you, I'm speaking to us, myself included. We need to do what is required to see the face of God, to spend eternity with God, right? And so hence the title of this message, Being Good is Not Enough, because a lot of people feel that by doing good works and doing this and doing that, they are going to make it. No. If you don't want to have that relationship with Jesus, and you're not right with God, you are not going to make it. Plain and simple. You see, in these last days that we are living in, and we are living in the last days, as many of you can clearly see by what is taking place in the world, a lot of times you don't hear the, as they call it, the fire and brimstone messages. You don't hear much of that. You hear prosperity, because everybody wants to be successful, everybody wants to have money, everybody wants to make it on the earth. Fame, riches, success, etc., and all that kind of thing, right? And in the pursuit of that, we fail to pursue what really matters, and that is God, what is most important, and that is God. And so people die pursuing fame, pursuing money, pursuing accolades, and all these different things. People die in trying to make a name for themselves, right? They die trying to maintain an image, and to maintain their own standards. They die trying to maintain their own standards while not maintaining God's standards. So I want to encourage you and remind you, and for those who don't know, let you know that being good is not enough. And before I close off, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I want to encourage you to accept Him into your life. All you have to do is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will receive. Live according to that belief. Live according to what the Word of God says, the Bible. Get a King James Version Bible and begin to read and study the Word of God and live according to the Bible. Do what God says. None of us is perfect, we are striving to perfection. We are striving to perfection. But Jesus came and left us an example that it can be done. That is why He came in the flesh, to save us and show us that it can be done. Alright? It's not going to be easy, but it can be done. Alright? So, until the next one, JC Vibes is gone, thank you all for listening. Love and blessings to you and your family. I pray God's protection upon you. I pray that He would grant you the desires of your heart as it lines up with His will for your life. As I always tell you, don't just exist, but be a blessing. Until the next one, JC Vibes is gone.
