The speaker reflects on their life as a drug addict and the negative cycle they were trapped in. They couldn't believe there was a way out of their dark situation until they experienced it themselves. They realize that without personal experience, things may not make sense. It takes maturity and life lessons to understand this. The speaker mentions that someone close to them may have influenced their decision to seek help. Ultimately, their perspective changed and things that didn't make sense before now do. Well, like this life is, you know, especially the life we live as drug addicts and all the things that we have to do to get drugs and all the lies and manipulation, that low vibration that we live in, for so long, to think that there was a way, when it was as dark as it was, was something that I couldn't believe, I couldn't wrap my head around it, like, like how? And the only reason why I couldn't is because I never did it. So for me, I'm the type of person that if I haven't experienced it, it's not for me, or it doesn't make sense, and it can't be. And that took some growing up to understand, right? That's like, takes maturity. It takes life lessons and all the shit that you just said you went through in this conversation, for you to come to that, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, a little bit of your girl, you know, telling you, maybe it was your girl going to get help, you know, and you've seen it through her that finally made you do it, whatever got us to where we're at, our perspective changes. And then it's like, oh, I get it. Something I can never get for so many years, now makes perfect sense.
