And the key to a listening chat is to give somebody else a voice. Yes, you're going to hear things that you do not like. Yes, you're going to hear some things that may not resonate with you. The key is to literally say thank you. You can always come back. Take notes. You can always come back. You can always ask somebody. Look, I want to get back to our conversation. A couple weeks ago you mentioned XYZ. And that also demonstrates trust. That you listened, but you took notes, and you wanted to come back. Yet in the moment of asking for a listening chat, you're asking for perspectives. You're asking for feedback. You're asking for opportunities to serve somebody better.
