冰雹 Hail

In the summer, hailstones can suddenly fall from the sky, which can be scary. Hailstones form when water on the ground evaporates and rises to form clouds. Inside the clouds, the water meets strong upward air currents and freezes into small ice pellets. When these currents weaken, the ice pellets fall to the ground as hailstones. If there are stronger upward air currents, the hailstones can be carried higher and become larger. This process can repeat, causing hailstones to grow bigger. Eventually, the heavy hailstones fall to the ground, sometimes causing damage to buildings and crops. 有冇試過夏天嘅時候行行下路 突然間個天落下一粒一粒嘅冰雹 諗起都有啲恐怖 呢啲冰雹點樣形成嘅呢? 點解唔係冬天形成嘅呢? 首先地面上面嘅水會被太陽曬得熱騰騰 變成咗水蒸氣 呢啲水氣會向上上升 再漸漸形成雲 接下來呢啲雲入面嘅水地 會遇到一股強勁上升嘅氣流 會直接帶上高空當中 嗰度係非常之凍 所以佢哋好快就會變成小冰珠 呢股氣流稍微弱咗之後 呢啲小冰珠就會往下跌落嚟 唔好心急故事係咪完結日 如果呢個時候有嚟一波更加強勁嘅上升氣流 呢啲小冰珠就會再次被帶得更加高 而變得更加大粒 就咁樣上上落落來來回回 呢啲小冰珠就好似喺天空上面玩彈床咁樣 越彈就變得越大粒 即都變成我哋所講嘅冰雹 最後佢哋因為太重關係從天而降 啪啦啪啦咁樣跌到地上面 有時候仲會突親我哋嘅頭 更惡劣就係呢 甚至會破壞基建 以至危害農作物嘅生產
