The podcast hosts, Trace and Jess, discuss their upcoming trip to NDA Nationals in Daytona. They will be performing two dances, one lyrical and one team routine that combines jazz, pop, and hip-hop. The podcast will provide behind-the-scenes insights, featuring guests like teammates and coaches. The team's theme this year is hot and cold, and they are determined to bring the heat and outperform the other teams. The hosts conclude the podcast and sign off. Hey y'all! Welcome to our podcast where we talk about the ISU competitive dance team. I am Trace Guerrero. I am a journalism major and a sophomore here at ISU. Hey guys, I'm Jess Malley. I'm a special education major and I am a freshman and I dance with Trace on the dance team. Alright, title of our podcast, calling it Bringin' the Heat, the Road to Nationals. So, our dance team is going to NDA Nationals in Daytona, April 10th through the 13th. Daytona, to be more specific. We are bringing two dances, one lyrical and one team routine. What is team routine, you may ask? It is a mix of jazz, pop, and hip-hop. All in the same dance. All in the same dance. And lyrical is pretty, well it's actually jazz. But it's like a lyrical, more happy, flowy type of dance instead of like a sassy, hip-hoppy jazz. Exactly. So, what you can expect from this podcast, we'll talk about the behind the scenes of ISU CDT. We're going to take you to Nationals with us, have some interesting guests on the show, some teammates, maybe a coach. We'll see. Just, there's a lot, there's a lot coming. There is. So, we're bringing the heat. Yeah, bringing the heat. We should probably explain where that comes from. Oh, yeah. So, our team routine theme this year is hot and cold. So, you know, we're bringing the heat to Nationals. We're going to bring the other teams down. Oh, yeah. We're on fire. We're on fire. All right. I don't really know where else to go with this. Got anything to add, Tess Malley? Um... No? All right. Well, that is bringing the heat, the road to Nationals. See y'all next time. Peace out.
