Chapter 1 QFL

The person in the computer room realizes they are having a vision while asleep. They cannot leave the room in their vision and see two scientists working on computers. The scientists mention false alarms and a date on a watch, and then a computer monitor explodes. I was in some kind of computer room. Desks lined the walls, each with a computer on it. The room was dimly lit, and the ceiling was much higher than I thought necessary. Behind me, I noticed a server rack reaching up to the ceiling, storing all the information of whatever facility I was in. I raised my hand to touch it and saw my hand was slightly transparent. I could see through it, as if it really wasn't there. That's when I realized I wasn't there. I was having a vision in my sleep. Quickly, I turned to figure out where I was. I walked to the door, but my vision wouldn't let me leave the room. My visions were usually there to tell me about something in the future, and wouldn't allow me to leave the space that was specific to where I was supposed to be. The door opened and passed through me as two scientist-looking guys walked in. They went to sit at two computers near the door. One was wearing a watch. I didn't know when this was happening, so I could help those scientists in whatever was going to happen to them. I really hope the alarms don't go off again. We've already had five false alarms this week, and they don't even know what's going on with the system. Yeah, says scientist number two. The watch said, 3-24-AM, April 20th. That's the day, I thought to myself. I must be seeing something that's happening right now. I heard something moving through the air, and someone chanting words. I looked around, but saw nothing, and the scientists didn't even seem to hear the chanting. Suddenly, a static bolt shot out and hit a computer monitor. The scientists jumped as the monitor exploded.
