Mitch Marsh has won the Allen Border Medal for his outstanding performance in cricket. He went from being seen as the weaker brother to becoming a key player in Australia's successful 2023 campaign. He changed his approach, scoring runs all over the world and making a strong comeback in the Test team. In total, he scored 1584 runs with three centuries and eleven fifties, averaging 58.66. He also hit 61 sixes and achieved several other victories, including winning the World Cup and retaining the Ashes. It was a remarkable year for Mitch Marsh. From zero to hero, Mitch Marsh claims Aussie's highest honour winning the Allen Border Medal on their night of nights. Mitch went from the unplayable little brother of Sean to the centre of Australia's incredible 2023, changing his approach this year, flogging the ball to all parts of the ground across the globe, re-establishing himself in the Test side with an incredible 100 in his return and under pressure he took them on. 2023 read for Mitch Marsh, 1584 runs, 300s, 11 50s at an average of 58.66. To go with this, 61 sixes, a World Cup, Ashes Retention, six series wins from seven attempts and now an Allen Border Medal. Congratulations Mitch, what a year.
