UPS plans to increase pricing for their new eco fleet, which includes electric vehicles and semi trucks. They will follow a dynamic pricing structure based on size and distance of deliveries. The cost of purchasing these vehicles will be offset by tax write-offs. Driver pricing will remain dynamic based on cargo, vehicle size, and delivery distance. Customer service costs will not increase. UPS will also provide charging stations in large cities and promote their eco-friendly fleet. This will give their brand a new image and bring advantages to their marketing mix. For UPS our new eco fleet in order for it to be successful and to compete with our new investment Into getting electric vehicles and electric semi trucks We are going to increase some of our pricing but we are going to follow our dynamic pricing structure and strategy This will be dependent of course on the size and distance to deliver our loads Some of the new things that we are going to incorporate the cost of purchasing that many vehicles obviously is going to Going to have a cost You know increase but on the back side of it It's going to be a smart investment because the tax write-offs that will occur for purchasing new electric vehicles will Combat that pricing as far as our drivers We're going to keep the driving drivers pricing structure same with the dynamic based on what cargo they're carrying How big the vehicle is and the distance in time it takes to deliver those items And then of course our cost of service for our customers will remain the same There's no need to increase that price for this investment because they are supporting Back to the environment. The next thing I want to talk about is our multi-channel distribution Distribution which basically will include a similar distribution channel as before But the benefit is that in our large cities We will host charging stations so that our vehicles are always going to be available and they're always going to be able to deliver on time Another important piece is going to be our promotion now The goal is to bring together businesses and communities using our UPS Structure and on top of that once we are once we start introducing our eco fleet This means our specific products of UPS vans and UPS semi trucks These are going to be all electric and then the ones that we still have left We're going to transform into a low-emission vehicle But the bright side is is that showing a new image and collectively our marketing mix will bring new advantages to our brand
