Welcome Craig. It's a meme at this point. It is. It is. But you know, he is old, reliable. Gotta love it. Yes. I expect Craig to be here every podcast. Yep. Exactly. Exactly. So, anyways. We'll wait a couple minutes. Grace messaged me and said they'd be here, but they'll be a little late. Welcome, Splash. Welcome, Splashy. You can speak now, Splash. If you can. Welcome to the podcast. That's a request to speak. We do have the wave emoji. Let's see. Welcome, Grace. What's going on here? Okay. Cut out for a moment there. I cut out or you cut out? No, you cut out. Oh, that's not good. You said you might have to pop out of here for a minute? Yeah, if I get power knocked down. Oh, you've got a storm going on. Yep. So, how's everybody doing? Welcome, Sketchy. The doorknob just came off my door. I am sorry to hear that, Grace. Alrighty. So, we opened the floor up to you guys. So, this will be another question and answer, which will be fun and exciting. And we'll go through some of the questions that were shared with us in our ANA podcast questions channel. And then since we actually do have some participants in here with us this week, go ahead and throw your questions. We'll answer them, of course, as best as we can. We're going to try and keep it to about an hour this week. My podcast partner does have an appointment that he has to get to promptly. So, with that being said, welcome, everyone, to this week's episode is Community Questions and Answers. And Adfang is a little quiet. Hopefully, he didn't lose power. Oh, no. I'm Adfang. You broke up there. Let's try this again. Hello, everyone. I'm Adfang. Okay, lady. Welcome to this week's podcast. Eve, through technical difficulties, we will have this. Hell or high water. Happy May 15th. We're halfway through the month already. Crazy. That is crazy. So, we do have some great questions. Do you – well, we've got an audience here with us. Who do you want to start off with? So, first, I want to say that somebody asked about near-death experiences. And I'm going to say that we should probably cover that in a podcast on its own since it's going to be a more in-depth topic. So, I think Grace asked about it and the question came from Sand111 as well. So, we'll put that off to another podcast to give it the time and attention it deserves. Most definitely. Most definitely. I agree with that. So, Mr. Mage asked a plethora of questions, and the first of which is, what is magic or energy work? Which is a question. I'm going to ask you to answer that first, Adfang, because mine is going to be a fairly open-ended answer. Okay. Mine is kind of open-ended, too. I would define energy work as taking intent and energy and doing something with it. Okay. And so, what is magic – let me rephrase – magic and energy work, they kind of get lumped together. Do you see them as a variation of the same entity, or do you see them as individual characteristics that kind of stand alone? I would say – Sorry, getting a message. I would say that magic and energy work are two separate things, but I would say that in the end, it's probably more nomenclature than it is technicality. So, you know, what one person might call magic, one might call energy work. I don't try to get caught up in the minutiae of calling this magic or energy work, because magic is basically doing the same thing. It's using energy to do something, but it just does it through a different means. So, yeah, Okay. Thank you for that. I would agree with you. I do see them a little bit separate, but also there tend – like – things, metaphysical stuff, there tends to be overlap. What is magic? I think for me speaks more of – well, it depends on, again, what type of magic you're going to be working. It has to do more with the mind and intention, and also like, is it arcane? Is it ritual? Is it this? Is it that? So there's a lot of branches off of that tree, whereas energy work is, to me, similar. I tend to think of energy work, in my perspective, in my paradigm, more as work to heal or around the self, because we're all energetic. I think it's going to vary from person to person to person, and what their experience – based on their personal experiences, their frame of reference, their perspectives, and then, of course, so there I would kind of leave that, because it is going to be a little bit different for everyone's opinion. Yeah. I would say that magic is energy work, but energy work is not necessarily magic. That would be a good way to describe it, too. Yeah, that's a fantastic way. Are we going to put that on a T-shirt? We can. Magic is energy work, but energy work is not magic. It can be magic, but it doesn't have to be. I've already forgotten. We'll listen to the recording, and you'll see it. And welcome, everybody. So Grace has asked, how do you keep evil entities away, like real evil, like the really bad ones that want to hurt you outside your normal shielding stuff? Well, Grace, the odds of you encountering something that you're thinking of or something that's that bad is slim to none in your general workings. You kind of have to invite in, kind of. A.K., you may agree with me, you may not. It's possible for those to just stumble upon you, but it's more so you're going to be looking for those kinds of things and you run into them is what's going to happen. So with that being said, to protect against them would be similar to how you would protect against anything else, just with your intent and with protecting against whatever they may be doing. Yeah, for sure. I do agree with you. I don't want to say or to discredit anybody that says, you know, there's a lot of fear-mongering from, we'll say negative, or I don't like to use the term darker because that doesn't necessarily denote good, bad, or evil. I would say that if it is a concern for you and you feel are being targeted, the first way to come back is from within. So it's always going to be so from a medium aspect, right, someone who perceives, sees, and comes in contact with the most positive, we'll say. We all are on a wavelength, a waveform, right? So varying degrees of light and brightness. In the world of duality or polarity, what you may experience is the brighter you are, you may come into contact or feel more fear-mongering. You may feel more fear-mongering. You may feel more fear-mongering. You may feel more fear-mongering. Lightening the burden, make sure that you are doing things that raise your vibration to a level that you can no longer be in contact with those lower frequencies. If you are a person who is highly psychic, highly sensitive to these things, you have to be consciously aware of your thoughts, your frequencies, and your vibration because the lower your mood is, the darker your mental state gets, the easier it is for the most positive to reach out to you. That's usually where we start to see some attachments, where we see the beginning of oppression, where we're kind of working in. One of the things that I've learned from certain people is that the lower you the more you kind of get in that muck and in the dirt and in the mud, and your emotional and mental state are in that very thick, heavy, dark, overwhelming place where you feel like we need to be reactionary or the world is against us and things just kind of steamroll. It's working, working, working, working. You have to combat it in a way that I don't have anything to be happy about. I don't have anything to be joyous about. All of this garbage is going on around me and I just can't seem to see any kind of light or any kind of brightness, but we have to remember that we all carry that light within us. There are ways to do ritual stuff, but the more you stay in that frame of reference or in that frame of mind, the easier and the more targeted you probably will become. I hope that makes sense, but it's really important to be aware of our frequency, and that is one of the reasons why. The further you move away from the heavier and the density, the lighter, the more buoyant, the more you understand that you have sovereignty within and that we all carry, we all are divine beings. We carry that light. The more you can get in contact with that and in touch with that, the less you're going to have issues with. Hopefully that helps. I feel like I talked a little bit around in a circle, but you know, that's me. Thank you. Go ahead. Sorry. No, you're fine. I was going to say thank you to Sketch for that kind of question to Grace's question. How do you differentiate from something like pop culture phenomena, created evil, actually evil that's there? It's a really good question. How about you? You start that one off, that thing. So pop culture phenomena, I'm guessing they're asking something like a scary movie or something like that or a horror film where there's like this evilness in that and compared to what you may actually experience in the real world. Okay. So there's some clarification there. Do you see that? Yes. So haunted attractions, I don't have a lot of experience visiting a ton of haunted attractions or places like that. But a lot of the times whenever we hear about these places that are super haunted or you go to mental institutions that are closed down and derelict and just have an eerie feeling to them, a lot of the times that feeling that we get from that is just what we're being told about it. And also the fact that it is kind of creepy, walking through an abandoned factory or an abandoned building. It does have kind of that creep factor whenever you do that. So I guess to kind of differentiate between what is real and what is an expected feeling or an expected experience, it's just going to be through your own discernment of whether or not you feel like that place is truly haunted or if it's just said that because some people have strange experiences while there. I wonder if this would be kind of like would you consider like a tulpa or something like that where it kind of the thought of many, many people over time will kind of potentially spontaneously create an energy that resembles kind of the fear and everything that the people were kind of pouring out into it. Would you think that that is possible? Not a tulpa, possibly an egregore. Okay, thank you. Like Mr. Maitch said, people who have fear definitely add energy to these quote unquote haunted places. So it kind of becomes a cyclical effect where you hear that it's haunted and you go there and you expect that it's going to be haunted and you already have fear about that and then it adds into all the energy that's already there surrounding it. So it could definitely be some type of egregore. So a tulpa is mainly more or less like a second, the way I would describe it is probably not correct You can think of a tulpa or internal to the host. They're like another entity but not really an entity that you can make up and have and talk to. So kind of like a second personality but not really. But it's still part of your actual mind. Whereas an egregore is an external thought form that many people contribute to to make it real. So I can't think of any famous egregores. I'm sure Mr. Maitch may know of one that people have worked on. Yes, Slenderman, there we go. It's technically egregore because of the fear factor and everyone believing in it or at least seeing it and thinking that it's real so much so that it kind of takes on a form Right, okay, gotcha. Thank you for that clarification Now Grace said that there were two places that they went that were haunted, Gettysburg and Dachau concentration camp. I would say yes, but you're sensing the residual pain that was experienced in those places. So land, just like we are capable of absorbing thought, energy and so when you have places that have had a lot of trauma you will definitely be able to experience I would say it was haunted or it's a residual memory that's kind of would actually be more how I would describe it Okay, so let's move on Mr. Maitch's, well there are other questions. His next question is Now, I'm not sure if we want to leave that for another full podcast episode to discuss that I'll leave it to you. Yeah, I would definitely like to revisit it. I will, because the question was asked I will drop my two cents and there are lots of different ways to construct a ritual. It's going to the individual and the practitioner would be how I would answer that and whether it's in a personal, singular or group setting So we could probably spend a good solid 30-45 minutes on that alone Okay, so his next question is techniques to achieve trance quickly. So I've talked about this whenever I need to get into either a trance or a deep meditative state it's kind of a learned behavior where I can focus in very quickly and kind of tone everything out and get into a very deep meditation or trance-like state and that's just through experience. But AK Lady, how do you get into For me, I use a lot of sound therapy So I prefer preferably a theta wave a pure tone that I'll listen to. I may, depending on what I'm going for in the trance with, I may also use like a 532 with a chanting or a mantra Om is actually one of my favorites because it's very calming or I will use a shamanic drumming, just a very repetitive slow sound combined with a peri-meditative state. So a little more heightened I would say it's a little more of a hybrid. And I can probably pop within five minutes or less Yeah, I mean I guess a way to describe what I do is whatever it is that I need to focus on or whatever I'm working with or whatever it is I focus on that solely and I kind of I'll close my eyes and then tune everything out like try to tone down all my senses as low as possible until I get into the specific state that I want to be in. Especially when doing practice or meditating on something or trying to discern something basically be dead to the world in that moment and I hope it doesn't sound like a cop out how I'm explaining it but that's just how I've learned how to do it. No, that's not a cop out at all. It varies on the individual You know that takes a lot of practice because you're able to kind of tune everything out and quiet the mind. A lot of people have difficulty kind of quieting or tuning the mind out and then allowing everything to kind of fall away. And again like everything it's going to be What is the purpose of the trance? What are we trying to achieve? That we use different methodologies or different techniques to get there at least for me depending on what I'm doing. It can be gazing at a flame, right? We can allow ourselves depending on what we're trying to achieve or what the practice is. Hopefully that's helpful. His next question Mr. Mage is if we have any reading recommendations books, websites, articles or etc. I'll say that personally I don't have a lot of books that I have read or anything like that The closest to something that I've really studied is Elder Futart. That's practically all that I've seriously read I started reading the book Mr. Mage suggested Astrodynamics but I haven't gotten more than like a sixth of the way through it because I haven't had time I don't really have a lot of stuff. I'm sure you have a lot more resources that you would be able to share. I'm 100% with you. I think now I have three of Thorson's books. The first one that you recommended I also have the Runes and Rune Magic which is fantastic and then I don't have but I have another one of his as well and practical knowledge. So to me that's great similar theme or writer that there's a lot of practical work in it is Diana Paxson. I have three of her books. The first one that I got started with Odin and then Essential Guru which not necessarily am I a pagan or a pagan practitioner but there's a lot of historical and relevant information because she worked a lot with Thorson. Come to find out anything that you should buy from Odin. I would say if you're interested in consciousness and expanding it dive into it and if you're looking at mediumship or trying to understand where two worlds meet by Janet Novaheck is a really good finding balance when you've had an understanding that you were a little bit different or you experienced things your whole life. There's some good things out there. Those would be my basics. If you're interested in mythology or kind of understanding Irish Celtic anything, Irish pagan school, fantastic. My go-to. I link the resources channel. If we want to post anything or if you want to look for anything that's been posted, check that out and you can find things that other people have found helpful. For sure. I actually have a question for Mr. Mage. You asked about analysis. Would that be the same thing as a mindscape? We're waiting while he types. Response loading eventually. Okay. So he says a mind palace is a more mundane concept, a mental tool. High IQ individuals have reported using, but it's the same concept just with different flavor. Okay. Have you worked with mindscapes or mind palaces before? Not really. I will say that in researching that question, Mr. Mage was researching and that would be considered the loci technique. It's L-O-C-I. I found a really interesting article that I posted in ANA podcast that's looking at it from not only a philosophical but a psychological aspect. It was a really informative article. I'm fascinated because it did say that the concept goes back to Greek times and it's almost like a mnemonic technique to help with location because we lose we identify with places a little bit easier so it's kind of like chaining. I think it's very fascinating. I want to dig in a little bit more. What about you? Have you really done much with that? Or would we consider it kind of linking into potential constructs? I would say if we're talking about something similar to a mindscape, it's essentially a place that you create in your mind only that you can have pretty much whatever you want to have there. A common thing years ago would be someone or a group of people would work on one particular mindscape and you could visit each other's mindscapes. They're basically these spaces that we create in our minds where you can go to either design things, create things, have different experiences. It's actually a pretty cool experience if you've never actually created a mindscape or been in one. I have not actively worked with mindscapes in a long time. It's definitely something that people should take a look into. I'm truly fascinated. I'm going to throw this out here. I think that we should dedicate a podcast episode to that. Maybe Mr. Mage would be able to jump in and share a little bit if they were interested, their experiences as well, and then maybe we can develop a group practice around it. That would be really fascinating. Then I saw that Mr. Mage also asked about enchanting. Since he's here with us, are we talking about enchanting objects or are we just talking about the practice of? Thank you for the clarification. Okay. Oh. Okay. He writes, I meant enchanting objects, tools, et cetera, can be enchanted, too. What about you, Adfang? Do you want to run with it? It depends on what you want to enchant the object for or with The method of enchanting is going to be pretty similar each time. I'll give an example of a project that I was working on, or still am, pretty much. I had worked on a macro sigil for quite some time. To help get the macro sigil more firmly rooted in the physical, I did enchanting on quite a bit of land and places. Whenever I was actively working on it, I probably enchanted about a thousand miles of road because I actually drove quite a bit, and this was pre-pandemic, so I had to do a lot of driving then. Now I don't drive nearly as much. My preferred method of enchanting is through singing. While singing, I imbue the lyrics and my voice with whatever I'm enchanting, or whatever effect I want to have. That's one specific way of performing enchantment. You can do so energetically. I'm sure there are other rituals, but yeah, there are a number of ways to perform enchantment, and you can have pretty much any type of effect that you want to have on the object, such as a luck enchantment or defense, pretty much anything that you can come up with. Whether or not it works is another question, and that's how we find out through trial and error. Excellent. I am thoroughly fascinated with your methodology. I think that, right, because the power of the voice can be used, should be used as an instrument. I think that that's absolutely amazing. I wouldn't say that I do much enchanting or that type of work myself. This may be just a variation on terminology or practice, but thank you for sharing that. Again, this is another subject matter that would be really fascinating to visit in more depth and breadth. I'm sure Mr. Mage also would have some more experience with enchanting than both of us, and he may be willing to discuss that maybe on another podcast. We did have quite a few questions come in from Spiritual Splash. The first question, books, podcasts, resources that a beginner in their spiritual journey should read, and the topic could be anything. Would there be anything that you would suggest besides what you mentioned earlier? A brand new, brand spanky new you, beginning. I'm going to say what I said before is I don't really have any specific things to suggest. A lot of my experience or pretty much all of it was done through working with other people, so I don't have a lot of resources to suggest. Okay. I would suggest looking into and researching mythology for a lot of what you might be experiencing, because a lot of times very subtle ways it seems to show up in the mythology of different cultures. That would be a broader way to look at it depending on what you were hoping to get into, or if it was more healing, determine what type of healing you feel called to, what type of energy work you feel drawn to, and pull that thread. I'm going to ask a very good question. How can a person not be a sponge, but a filter to the energy? Do you have? We've touched on this topic before. The idea of whenever we go out into public and we deal with other people, potentially emotional people, we really don't know what others are going through. They could be going through a lot and not saying a lot, but all of these emotions and thoughts can have unintentional effects on ourselves. What we can do is create some type of shield or construct around us that filters out that excess or the energy that we don't want, the negative emotion, the negative energies that may be directed towards us intentionally or unintentionally whenever we're out and about. That's probably the best way to deal with being out in public or being around the public. Shielding will be very beneficial. The other piece that I would add on to that is be aware of your energy and your emotion because it will help you understand when you're coming in contact or picking up something from somebody else. There'll be a level of understanding within and discernment. You know it's time to go ahead and cleanse or clear or start to release what does and does not belong to you, what's coming from within as opposed to what you're being exposed to externally. I think that's helpful and really important on the journey forward. She also asked, can we share different ways, visualization techniques that one could or should follow? Okay. So Splash again asked different ways, that one should follow to help them in being aware of not being a sponge but a filter. As far as a visualization technique, you can, and this goes along with creating the shield, you can visualize this orb around you, kind of like this thin layer of energy and kind of use this as that buffer zone between yourself and the outside. You can start to get more specific once you have that and specify you want to keep out someone specific, maybe the energy from the place that you're going into and keep that out as best as you can and as best as the construct can. That's a good base to starting that protection from outside influences. Then we can go further in on further ways to do that, but I think that's a good base and from there you can begin to experiment and see what works best for you and what kind of results you get from changing different things about how you do the programming on the shield and so on. Yeah, I agree with that. Mantras, I would say repeating and understanding whatever phraseology works best for you, but stating that what's yours is yours and what belongs to other people is theirs. You're creating a little bit of a buffer and a separation between the two as far as exposure. A technique that I use is going in and checking your auric field, checking all of your alignment with your chakras, seeing that everything is aligned, being able to assess if you have any spots, holes, different things that you may have picked up that don't belong to you. Then you can go ahead and once you've identified where the issue is, then you can push out and cleanse. That would be a technique that I would recommend in addition to that thing. Finally, the last question from Splash is there are many types of divination tools. How do you know what is good for you to use and to learn first? With divination, it's really whatever you feel called to, I think, is the best way to look at it. Some people have great luck with pendulums and they feel like pendulums really help them. They just have that natural inclination for that. Some people feel more called to cards, I Ching. There are so many different types of divination that you can do. It's really just either trial and error and see which ones you're more successful with or that you feel is better for you. Another thing you have to look for or should look for is maybe your accuracy with each. Whether you've been practicing tarot for a few years and your accuracy for things may be a little off, maybe try something else. Maybe try runes, for instance, for divination. I don't specifically use runes for divination. I have a little bit. There are so many different tools that you can try. It's all about not being afraid to just try something and see how it works for you. Exactly. I would say kind of listen to where you're being pulled. There are times when we see when we fight it, but if it's really meant for you, it'll continue to show up like in new and fun and usual. Don't be afraid to try many different types of divination tools and really explore and understand. You may say, well, I have a pendulum, but it's really not working for me or I'm only getting yes and no answers. It may be you. It may be an interference with you in that particular material that the pendulum uses. Maybe explore a different type of material or construction of your pendulum. The same thing with tarot. Most people have multiple decks and they're more attuned to some that aren't. Oracle decks like Adfang said, runes. It just depends on where you feel called in the beginning, but understand that just because that's where you started, that may not be where you end. Be patient with yourself. Be graceful, because it does take a little bit of fine-tuning. Each and every one of your tools have a little bit of a subtle difference. It's a game you play around. There is no right or wrong answer for you. Hopefully that helps. I would also suggest for divination to keep in mind that what you are looking at is a possibility of what may happen. It's more so a guide. We're not truly able going to figure out the winning lottery numbers. At least I'm not. You may be more skilled than me, but it's more of a guide to help you along your journey rather than telling you exactly what you should do next. Exactly. How you use it. I use mine and I have a myriad of pendulums that I use. I have different pendulum boards that I use. I also have, like most people I would say, I don't have a ton, but I do have a dozen or so different tarot decks, but I do know that I have ones that are more fine-tuned, that are more conducive to direct communication. It's about how we use the tools, how we connect with them, or if we're using it as a method to connect with spirit team guides, or whatever, just make sure that you kind of keep your headspace clear and that you're allowing the information in whatever way. It could be, for me, using the pendulum is a multi-sensory thing. It's not just about yes or no answer. Again, it's going to depend on the individual how you approach your tool, your item. There you go. Oh, that's awesome. Like Ruby said, they use monopoly cards for tarot. Yeah, anything can be used. There are a lot of people who use regular playing cards. It's going to vary per person. Not even like charm casting or Oum, or different type of staves. Any other questions from those here in the group? Because I know Adfang is going to have to be jetting here in just a few moments. Let's go ahead and end it now, and let's go into General VC and do a little discussion afterwards with everyone. Beautiful. Sounds great. Thank you guys for being here on today's question and answer podcast session. Have a beautiful day. See you guys.
