Rev's website guarantees delivery in 10 minutes or less, which is a selling point for customers. Former racer Charlie Lovis explains that the stress of meeting this time limit is constant, as failing to do so makes customers unhappy and hurts the business. Within the 10 minutes, workers must package the order, add a personalized message, and quickly deliver it. Some employees find this challenging if they are not used to this type of work. It says it right on the main page of their website, guaranteed in 10 minutes or less. Rev's bold, quick delivery time is a selling point for many of their customers, but we're all curious how the racers deal with this high stress time limit. Speaking with former Rev racer, Charlie Lovis, I got insight into the high stress environment 10 minutes brings to many of the employees. Honestly, just like managing stress, just as you said, like the 10 minute delivery time, kind of in a way is like, that is the stress, right? It's like you're constantly going to hit that 10 minute delivery time, because if you don't, then customer's not happy, which is just bad for the business overall. Within the 10 minute window that the order is placed, workers need to package the order, include a personalized message, and hop on their scooter and race to the final destination. This is a challenge at times for the employees who aren't used to this type of work. Allie Watson, UW News.
