I'm Dr. Faye, your host. And today's teaching, I want to encourage you. Encourage is a very powerful word because it simply means that I want to bring out from within you the power to overcome situations and circumstances that seem to oppose you. You see, the Bible teaches us in 1 John 4 and 4 that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. That means that there are external circumstances that will try to dictate to you how your crisis should be. Pull you in a different direction from the direction that Holy Spirit is leading, guiding, and directing your steps and tell you that you're wrong when you know God is right. How many of you know God is always right? The problem is that many people don't take time to get into the rightness of God. That means take some time every day to set aside to get into prayer, meditation, the Word of God, do some fasting, praising, and worshiping. Find some meditation music to help keep your mind focused and cleansed and re-energized toward the positive side of life. And the only positive side of life I know is that that we find in Christ and fellowshipping with him. I like to read the Bible every morning. Every morning I do. And I have some of my favorite scriptures that I go to and a couple that I'll tell you about in a moment. But I read these and I've done this for years and years and years. I remember in ancient times when there were cassette tapes and I had a cassette tape player. And I thought it was a really awesome experience to actually have a cassette tape player that will auto-loop. I've forgotten now what it was called, but it would just continue to play. Maybe that was it, continuous play. But I could put that on and play it all night long in a subliminal tone that it didn't awaken me with the intonations that sometimes Alexander Scorby would have. But it allowed me to just hear the Word of God in my spirit. Subliminal message is extremely powerful. We've seen them at movie theaters when popcorn or snacks are offered and all of a sudden you've got to have popcorn, you've got to have a Coke. And you leave your seat to go get it because here comes the subliminal message on the screen. But the Word of God is so powerful that even when you're asleep it's still at work in your life. So if you feel in a place right now that you just can't take anymore, you feel overwhelmed and there's just so many things going on. And you've been listening to the wrong voices. You know those external voices that may come in packages called friends, coworkers, bosses, neighbors. Those external voices that come in these little packages. And you're just tired of hearing all of that stuff and you don't know how to get back into your peace, your safe place of peace. So I'm going to encourage you today to start reading, reading your Bible every day, even if it's just a few minutes. And regardless of what time you wake up, make sure you check yourself in at a wake-up time and giving yourself enough time, allowing yourself enough time, to spend a healthy 15 minutes reading your Bible, 15 minutes of prayer and meditation and getting some music that will motivate you for today. There's a lot of free music out there that you can use. I know it's hard to swallow sometimes when you're listening to it in some social media sites because they have all of these breaks with these different commercials. Commercials are necessary. I have a few. But I want to encourage you to find some meditation music, get a walk-in, spend some time with the kids. The dog, break it up. Don't always be in that same negative space. Listen to other people about their conversations and avoid those who are pulling you in the direction they're going toward the negative heap. Okay?
