Nothing to say, yet
In this 5-minute gospel, Dr. Faye reassures those going through difficult times that they can overcome and have abundant life. She emphasizes the need to bridge the gap between prophecy and promise through a relationship with Jesus and reliance on the Holy Spirit. Prayer is a crucial tool, where we have a conversation with God and receive intuition. We should affirm and speak out our requests, and align our thoughts and actions with what we're asking for. Dr. Faye encourages listeners to continue learning through this teaching series and provides her contact information. Welcome to Faith Alive in 5, the 5-minute gospel. Now here's your host, Dr. Faye. So many of you have gone through difficult times over the past several months and even the past several years and you feel as though that you're not going to make it, that your life is over with and that there are things that you cannot recover from, but that's a lie, you can. Jesus said in John 10 and 10 that the thieves come not before to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But I am come that you might have life and have life more abundantly. The word life there is zoe. It means the God quality of life. Even better than that, it means eternal life. It means the very substance that God is made of, that's what you have on the inside of yourself. Keep in mind that we've been created in the image of God and because we've been created in the image of God that there is no good thing that God is withholding from us. So where is the gap? What is causing us not to see the manifestation of the prophecy, the manifestation of the promise? There's a gap between the prophecy and the promise and we have to close that gap. How do we do that? We close that gap through our relationship, relationship and fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ, with his precious Holy Spirit indwelling on the inside of us. We rely on, depend on, call upon the helper, the comforter, the one who is the truth, the way, and the life to help us bridge gaps because we cannot do it in ourselves. If we could, we wouldn't need a savior, but we needed a savior, a redeemer, a reconciler. We needed Christ to be our wisdom and our righteousness, to teach us how to bridge these gaps. He gave us the tools to use to bridge gaps. The number one tool that we want to keep in mind is prayer. Prayer is a conversation with God. It is not speaking to God. It is a conversation with God. It is our talking to God and God speaking back to us. God can speak back to us in many different ways. There's an unctioning from the Holy One that we can know all things. You feel that intuition. Prayer is talking to, intuition is the response to the request that we have just laid before our Father. Because we can lay anything before Him. We can ask anything. Jesus said in Matthew 6 and Matthew 7, ask anything and your God will do it. Ask and you will receive. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you. That means there is a habitual way of doing this. There's a habitual way of bridging gaps. Knocking so the door will be opened. That means making that petition. Write it down. Speak it out of your mouth. Affirm it. Affirmation. Confirm it. Confessions. Begin to speak it out. Think it out. Think it out daily. Because as you think, so are you. You're not just asking. You are thinking it. You are speaking it. You are acting it out in your everyday waking, walking, talking lives. You're not asking one thing and then go do something else. You're not asking God to heal you. Close the gap between what Jesus finished and what you're manifesting. You're not asking Him to heal you and then walk away and forget that you've asked Him. You are leaning into it. You are quoting scripture. You are saying He was wounded for my transgressions. Bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him. And with His stripes I am healed. Who in His own self bare my sins in His own body on the tree, that we be indebted to sin shall live unto righteousness. By whose stripes we were healed. Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. Who forgiveth all my iniquities. Who healeth all of my diseases. You're leaning into it. You're confessing those scriptures. You're intentionally putting it before your own faith. Before your own eyes. Before your own ears. Before your own feet. And you're living it out. You want to close gaps between prophecy and promise? Continue to listen to this teaching in this series. I'm Dr. Faye, your pastor coach, and I love you all.
