Nothing to say, yet
Nothing to say, yet
The speaker, Charlotte Charles, is hosting a show on Cornerstone Christian Radio and discusses the importance of deliverance and how many people are still bound to the enemy without realizing it. She emphasizes that God's Word is powerful and can bring deliverance in various ways, such as through reading the Bible or acts of love. Jesus set an example of casting out demons and believers should follow in his footsteps. Deliverance is a ministry of love and brings joy and peace. The speaker encourages listeners to seek deliverance and not tolerate the presence of demons in their lives. Christians have the authority to cast out demons and must know their identity in Christ. Challenges may come, but victory is found in Jesus. The speaker reassures listeners that God can solve any problem and deliver them. It is so wonderful to have all my brothers and sisters listening in to the Rise and Shine show today with me Charlotte Charles on Cornerstone Christian Radio. And I greet each and every single one of you in the wonderful and mighty name of Jesus. God has something amazing in store for each and every single one of us today. And there's so much that we can take, remember God's Word is fuel, God's Word is life. There's nothing His Word cannot bring you through. So I want to encourage somebody right now, whatever situation you may be facing, whether it's hardship, marital problems, children problems, faith problems, that there is a Word to carry you through in this season, that there is a Word, hallelujah, attached to your problem that will bring you through. Praise God. Jesus destroyed Satan's system with It Is Written and that exact same Word today is still with us. So today's topic is about deliverance, the importance of deliverance and how so many people are still bound to the enemy. These are people in church and they don't even realize it and how powerful the Word of God really is. So before we get into this awesome topic the Lord has given, let's begin with a prayer. Father, I come to you in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing your people need you Lord, knowing that in you is where their answers are. I thank you Lord that you gave your Word to destroy the plans of the enemy. Your Word brings us strength, oh Lord. Your Word holds power and I thank you Lord for everyone that is listening in today and I pray that they will be encouraged and begin to know you and be led by you. I thank you Lord that you are that fountain in their life that will never run dry and whoever drinks off you today Lord, I know Lord that they shall never thirst. So I want to thank you for what you are doing in the scene, off the scene. I thank you Lord for your people's deliverance Lord. I thank you Lord that those that will have ear will hear what the Spirit of the Lord says today. I thank you Lord for Cornerstone Christian Radio and I thank you Lord that I am decreasing as you are increasing today, praise God, hallelujah. So today we are going to be speaking about deliverance and how deliverance is so needed in the body of Christ today. So many people say that they follow Jesus, that they believe in his Word but yet they don't believe in deliverance, they don't believe in casting demons out. When we think of deliverance we think demons rolling around on the floor, frothing at the mouth, being sick in a bucket, speaking, all these kind of things. But deliverance can happen in many ways, in shapes and forms. Some deliverance takes time, some deliverance can happen there and then, some deliverance you got to go a bit deeper with it because you got to get to the right, to the root, praise God. And some wounds are harder than others but with God everything is able to do it, praise God through his Spirit. People can receive deliverance through reading the Word of God. So you could pick up your Bible one day, you could open the Word of God and you could just be reading that scripture and something touches you within and you become set free. You know, you didn't scream, you didn't roll around, you didn't froth at the mouth but an instant conviction came upon you when you read the Word of God and something left you. Some people get deliverance from a kind act, like a hug, sometimes the Holy Spirit will lead you to give somebody a hug and through that act of love something broke inside of that person and left them. And we see when Jesus cast out demons, he didn't just do the same way, he had strategies, he knew what demon was what and the ranking and he knew how to cast them out. And if Jesus did it, so shouldn't we? Because we are followers of Jesus Christ, right? So everything Jesus did was for us to follow, so why wouldn't we want to follow in his footstep, praise God. Deliverance is a must and nobody knows you more better than the Lord Almighty but yet as mankind we find it so hard at times to talk to him about deliverance because we may have guilt or we may have shame, we may have hidden sin or maybe we just don't even know how to go about it and that stops us from being honest and receiving what God has for us. So God loves us all so much, so why wouldn't he want us to be free? Of course he wants us to be free because his Word says who the Son sets free is free indeed and he wants to free you from demonic bondage, he wants to deliver you. He did it back then and he's still doing it now, he's our deliverer. I always say and I always believe that deliverance is a ministry of love, praise God. Many people don't know and many people don't want to know how to do deliverance because it takes time, it's taking them from their comfort zone. But let me tell you, you're being selfish because there's so many people in the church, there's so many people around that they're battling in silence and they're dying inside because people don't want to step up. They don't want to step up into deliverance, they don't want to step up but deliverance is a beautiful thing and this is what majority of the church are not understanding, deliverance is a beautiful thing because when you begin to be used in this area, you see people at the worst state. When I call deliverance people for instance, casting out demons like ambulances, like paramedics, you see the people at the worst state, that you're there at that time and you get to see them free and you no longer see them in that torment. This is a miracle guys. Many people would say, oh that was for then, it's not for now but let's see what the word of God says because didn't Jesus say, lay your hands on the sick, cast out demons in my name. So do we not do it? No, of course we do do it because Jesus commanded us to do it. So then that would be saying that Jesus did everything in vain which is impossible. Everything Jesus did is so that we would follow him. Jesus always set that example and deliverance is what he brought to the table, casting out demons is what he showed the disciples, casting out these vile things and setting the people free and we've got to understand guys that deliverance is a process but words can't explain how you feel when you actually do see a brother or sister set free. You share that joy, you see that change, you see that peace and I don't know about any of you but I know I have witnessed somebody be free from a demon before and that utter face change, their utter emotions, their attitude, their upliftment, you know that it becomes all about Jesus and they've just encountered Jesus for the first time and it is so beautiful praise God. Deliverance is our portion. God knew the demon's strategies and Jesus came that their strategies could be destroyed. That's why it's the same for us today. We no longer have to be in the corner fearing the enemy. God needs his ministers, God needs the leaders to step up and start fearing and tackle deliverance because the church is dying, the people inside are dying spiritually because the enemy has a hold on them and God will teach you all that you need to know through his Holy Spirit. If you are a pastor, if you are a prophet or a minister, whatever your position is in the church, to bring the church forward, to deliver his people. God would not place something in you, he would not tell you to do something, he would not give you an example of his own self for him not to do the same for you. So we give God thanks, you know, but God has given us all we need to defeat the enemy in his word. Demons' jobs, guys, are to hold us back, they're to block us and they're to stop you. They come against our relationship with Christ, they come against our prayer, they come against our reading time, they don't want you to get close to Christ, they try to make you feel rubbish about yourself. So why do we want this? Why do we tolerate this in our life? Why don't we go to God and we ask God, Lord, do I have a demon problem, is it a flesh problem or is it a demon problem? And the amazing thing when God shows you this and it is a demon problem is you can cast that out in Jesus' name or get somebody to cast it out in Jesus' name and you can be set free, praise God. But yet we entertain them, God doesn't want us to entertain them, God wants us to be free, praise God. Demons have to obey the authority of the Lord. That's why it's so important for us Christians to truly know who we are. Once we know this, then demons run the other way. So many people are caught up in bondage because they don't know who they are and that is really scary because Jesus gave us the power and the authority through his Holy Spirit. He never put demons in charge because it's the scripture that says that lion, addams and dragons are underneath our feet. You know, so these serpents, these scaly creatures are underneath our feet and we must rise up in the authority that God is giving us. And when we truly believe and know who we are in Christ, the enemy will fear. He will run the other way, praise God. Challenges that cause us, you know, there's challenges, there's certain challenges that will come in our life through demons, you know, but we must understand that there's victory through Christ Jesus. So it doesn't matter what the enemy may send in someone's life. We know that Christ is our deliverer and on the rock we stand, praise God. God has given you, God gives us things and it's not always easy, praise God. So if you're a person that feels like they want to give up, please listen to this and Jesus loves you. He has brought you this far and he has not brought you this far to leave you, but he has brought you this far to bring you through. You're not a problem. You're not too big that God cannot solve. You're not too big that God cannot heal. You're not too big and you ain't got too much of an issue that God cannot deliver you from. With Christ, you will only ever be on the winning side. So us as believers, we must remember this, that when we pick Christ, we're always going to win. We will always have victory over the devil, praise God. And can you imagine David at that time, David just had a slingshot. Everybody laughed at David, everybody looked down at David, I can't do it, David. What are you doing, David? But David knew his authority, David knew what he was carrying, David knew who God was and that's how we got to be, knowing that when we go to warfare, when we go on our knees, when we cast out demons, they are going to be running because we know our authority and we know who God is, praise God. When Jesus come, came that we can be delivered, hallelujah. And that deliverance could take place. He knew people needed to be set free, that's why he had to come and show us about deliverance because he desires us to be free. Demons try to keep people trapped and what we must remember, God has an awesome plan for each of our lives. But the devil also has a plan and it's everything opposite to what God has. In this life, we have two choices. We can either give our lives to Christ and desire his will for our life or we can accept his love and freedom and allow him to shape and mould us and lead us to that narrow path or we can choose to follow the enemy and allow him to lead us down the path of destruction. The enemy will always make something look nice but it always comes at a price. Remember this, everything comes at a price with the enemy, it's never free. Even the enemy keeps you bound, it keeps you stuck, it keeps you heathered. The enemy wants you to be on the broad road which looks nice, you can have many things on that broad road but it leads to hell. The enemy loves to put fear and manipulate mankind. The devil will never love you, he targets mankind because he knows how much God loves them and he's jealous of that. He knows that he ruined his chance and now he's coming against mankind so that they cannot receive their promise. Praise God. So we're just going to go into a few scriptures, Mark 16 verse 17 to 18. And these signs shall follow them that believe in the name. They shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Luke 11 14 and he was casting out a demon and it was mute and when the demon had gone out the mute man spoke and the crowds were amazed. And then Matthew 8 16 when evening came they brought him many who were demon possessed and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all those that were ill. Praise be to God. So we clearly see from the scriptures that this is what Jesus did. It says he did it and he's showing us so we can do the same. The amazing thing about the Bible is everything counts and everything is for our walk today. God has truly blessed us and you know what I love is how Jesus cast out demons. He never spoke down to the person. He always worked in love and compassion. Nowadays our brothers and sisters can't knock on our door for some sugar without us questioning them. That's why I do believe to do deliverance how Jesus wants us to, we've got to have a heap load of love. It's not easy for a person that is getting delivered and there are feelings and all kind of things going off inside of them. They don't need somebody talking about them. They don't need someone to come against them but they need someone to love them. No it's not them but it's what's behind them. So always remember that when you're doing deliverance it's not that person, it's what's operating behind that person. One way and Jesus showed us multiple times in his word how to cast out demons. Some just came out, some came out by the word and some it took fasting and prayer. Some came out and there was no challenges, some were more stubborn but at this time we are going to take a short break and if you would like to join me, Charlotte Charles on Cornerstone Christian Radio, the Rise and Shine show for part two, I will catch you soon.
