Students in high school experience increased academic pressure during college application season. Financial aid, scholarships, and the application process can be overwhelming, but support from school and outside can help alleviate stress. The district is providing guidance and assistance to help students with applications. It's important for students to know they have resources to cope with the stress, and teachers and staff who have gone through the process can offer guidance. It's a team effort to help students get into college or trade schools after high school graduation. Do you think students experience increased academic pressure as they progress in high school due to college application season? Yes. Absolutely. I see that with our students now, you know, juniors that are looking into colleges or seniors that are going through it now. It's a lot to wrap themselves around, you know, with financial aid, applying, looking into scholarships. Again, if a student has a lot of support inside and outside of school, it makes it a little bit less stressful. But if there's not a lot of support, we do see a lot of those students in guidance getting assistance. But I know that, again, the district is trying to help those students with applications, guiding them through the process. But it definitely brings another layer of stress, you know, with junior and senior. Yeah, definitely. But, again, it's important for students to know that they have resources to cope with these things. So if something comes up, there's people they can go to who can maybe assist them because most of the staff here has gone to college. They have gone through all this stuff so they can relate and they can also give the students good pointers on how to cope with these stresses. Yes. I agree. And I know that in your English classes, you know, your teachers help you write your essays and, you know, students go to different members of the building to help them with proofreading their essays. And I think it's a team effort, you know, with helping all of you get into college or trade schools or whatever that is after high school graduation.
