Four Seasons Hotel Limited wants to expand to Belgium because it attracts many tourists. They propose establishing a hotel in Brussels, the capital and most visited city. Both Belgium and Four Seasons are known for being expensive, so they believe there is a good chance that those who can afford to travel to Belgium can also afford their hotel. Good evening, gentlemen. My name is Donald, and I'm your business consultant. Thank you for listening to this presentation regarding our business plan of expanding to Belgium. As everyone might have known, Four Seasons Hotel Limited, we have a lot of experience running hotels or resorts in loads of countries. Belgium, on the other hand, attracts loads of tourists. Just in 2020 alone, there are 9.3 million of tourists going to Belgium. However, we haven't established any hotels in Belgium yet. And given the current size of our company, I think now is a good time for us to invest in Belgium. And the best way for us to invest in Belgium would be to establish a hotel. With that being said, there are a lot of cities within Belgium. And I propose the hotel to be located in the capital city of Belgium, Brussels, as it is the city with the most visitors. The hotel would also be in a city center, as it is where the most amount of attraction is located. With the location of the hotel being settled, the next thing to worry about is the high level of competition. Upon research, I have found that there are already a number of luxury hotels located in the city center of Brussels. Therefore, we needed to find ways to differentiate Four Seasons Hotel and other competitors. For example, one interesting way would be to provide a wide variety of rooms that customers can choose from according to their preferences. The other thing that I think would be beneficial to the situation of competition is that one of the greatest strengths of Four Seasons Hotel is that we do have a very prestigious reputation as a top tier luxury brand. Some potential customers are in doubt and they don't know which hotel to choose. If all else being equal, they would choose the Four Seasons Hotel just because of its name. Another thing that is in favor of us, the Four Seasons Hotel, is that the customer loyalty is very high and the company has been running for so long. We could use the customers which we served before and when they go to Belgium, when they travel to Brussels, they would stay at Four Seasons Hotel which creates revenue. Another similarity between Belgium and the Four Seasons Hotel is that they are both comparatively more expensive. Four Seasons Hotel is considered a luxury hotel while Belgium, although not the most expensive among the European countries, it is definitely not the cheapest as well. So people that can afford to travel to Belgium, we can conclude that there is a good chance that they could afford Four Seasons as well. So in summary, Belgium is a country which attracts a lot of tourists. While Four Seasons Hotel Limited, we are a company with a lot of experience in running hotels or resorts in different countries. And since we haven't had any hotels in Belgium yet, I reckon that now is a good time for us to establish a hotel in Belgium located in the capital of Belgium where there is the most amount of travelers. The reputation of Four Seasons Hotel would also help us in attracting new customers and find a place in the high competition area of Brussels, Belgium. And with that concludes today's presentation.
