The iReady benchmark and DAR tracker are used for data analysis. They provide information on student performance and behavior. The SRSS-IE is a survey that categorizes students as at-risk or not. These three sources were analyzed together to identify struggling students and teachers. Pre and post surveys measured teacher knowledge and confidence in implementing SEL. Debriefing meetings provided qualitative data to guide the study. Data analysis techniques. The iReady benchmark and the DAR tracker were both descriptive statistics. The iReady data provides a percentage score and any student that scores in the 25th percentile is placed in an intervention class. The DAR provides a look into the students that struggle maintaining appropriate classroom behavior. The SRSS-IE is similar to a Likert scale survey. Depending on the student's overall score, they may be placed in an at-risk category. These three data sources were analyzed to see if the students were on multiple forms of data. These three data sources also provided a look into teachers that had students in all three sources. Utilizing these three types of sources together gave you an in-depth study of which students were struggling academically, socially, and emotionally. It also provided information on the teachers that were having a difficult time maintaining classroom management. The pre and post surveys are similar to a Likert scale that gauged the teacher's knowledge and confidence regarding the implementation of SEL. The debriefing meetings provided the qualitative anecdotal data that was used to reinforce the direction of the study. This data was open-ended questions in a discussion forum meeting individually with teachers.
