We only need to give ourselves permission to hear the answer. All we need to do is peel away the layers and go deep inside, deeper and still. This is Emi Haeri and today I'm going to guide you into a daily check-in process. Let's start by finding a comfortable space, a safe space where the body is feeling supported. Whether you're lying down or seated with a cushion under, allow the spine to be long and relax the shoulders. You can roll the shoulders back and down and slowly start connecting with your breath. Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly. Take three long deep inhales and three slow exhales. Now start connecting with your mind. Start realizing, bringing awareness to the thoughts going on inside of your mind. And start describing the mental status you are at right now. You can be overwhelmed. You can be calm in the mind. Whatever that is, just bring awareness. Try to come with one word to describe the mental status you are at. Slowly start deepening your inhale, allowing the universe to nourish your mind, to soothe your mind, to calm your mind, to relax your mind. And exhale and try to sigh any stresses out. Inhale deeply into your mind and allow the universe to bring calmness into the mind and exhale and release all the stresses out. Inhale deeply and bring strength from the universe into your mind and exhale and sigh all stresses out. One more deep inhale into your mind, allow it to bloom and exhale and sigh and release. Now start connecting with your heart. Start feeling the feelings you have in your heart. Bringing awareness to the emotions and trying to realize the emotional status you are at right now. You can feel some sadness or some happiness. Whatever the feeling is, just bring awareness to it. Now start deepening your inhale, allowing the universe to heal your heart, to hold your heart with warmth. Send all the love and kindness into your heart and exhale and sigh anything that is weighing your heart down. Sigh it out and release. Keep inhaling deeply, sending more love into your heart and exhaling and releasing. Inhale deeply, send more kindness into your heart and exhale and release. Now slowly start connecting with your physical body. Start by scanning your body from the top of your head, your crown area, going down through the skull and forehead. And as you scan the body, start bringing awareness to the areas of tension or pain in your body. Start relaxing your forehead and your eyebrows, going down to the eyes. Allow the eyeballs to feel heavier. Going down the cheeks, the ears, the mouth, the jaw and even the tongue inside of your mouth. Going down to your chin, your neck, your shoulders, your upper back, your middle back, your chest, your abdomen, your lower back and your hips, your pelvis and your thighs, down through the knees, the calves, the ankles, the heels and the toes. Now start deepening your inhale, nourishing your body, healing your body, getting all the energy that you need from the universe. Inhale and allow those areas of tension or pain to relax and exhale and sigh out all the pain, all the tension. Inhale deeply and relax the body more and more and exhale and release the tension. Again inhale deeply and exhale and release. And now start connecting with your soul, the connection you have with God, with the divine, with the universe. And start realizing your spiritual status right now. Start coming with one word to describe it. You could be feeling grateful, you could be feeling thankful, whatever the feeling is. Now inhale deeply and allow your soul to fly and exhale and release anything that is weighing your soul down. Inhale deeply, connect your soul, nourish your soul and exhale and release. Inhale deeply and synchronize your soul with the vibrations of the universe, the vibrations of abundance, the vibrations of the divine. And slowly exhale and sigh anything weighing your soul out. Slowly start feeling your weight on the mat, the chair or the ground. Start bringing awareness into your fingers and toes and slowly open your eyes. Remember, there is a gap between the in-breath and the out-breath, a gap between action and reaction. See you in the in-between.
