You know, Baja is my special magic place. It really, really is. Now what do you think about it when you hear the name Cabo San Lucas? I'll bet it's lots of money. It's not about rescue dogs and cats. I'll bet it's probably about margaritas and the beach. But here's a tidbit. Did you know that Mexico is the number one country for overpopulation of dogs and cats? In this episode, two pretty amazing women from two pretty amazing organizations, Ada Trujillo of Pet Los Cabos and Paula Myers of Snap Los Briles, join me. Now if you've been down there, do you remember seeing lots of dogs and cats? So what do you do? You've got this overpopulation of stray animals, and most of the locals really have a very limited income. These two organizations are addressing both, and they're doing all kinds of things to make it better for the animals and for the people that live there. Now spay and neuter is one of the solutions, and it works well down there. But wait until you hear how these very strong women and their organizations are making great progress with their hearts and extremely strong will. Now here's a challenge for you. The next time you visit Mexico, wherever it is, volunteer for a few hours at a rescue place for animals and help them make a difference. And I know by doing so, it'll make your vacation even more memorable. This episode has a really special place in my heart. You see, when I say it's my happy place, I really mean it. Now I know you're going to love this episode, and I really hope you're going to enjoy it as much as I do. Three, two, one. Hey, everybody, and welcome back to the For Real Podcast.
