The Bible study discusses how to deal with difficult people when trying to achieve something significant. The speaker emphasizes the importance of using wisdom and understanding when dealing with these individuals. Difficult people have strong opinions, are negative, and hard to reason with. It is advised not to try to change them and to keep them at a distance. Examples from the Bible, such as David and Joab, are given to illustrate the point. The audience is encouraged to send their contributions on managing difficult team members and to visit the website for more information. The session ends with a prayer for wisdom in dealing with difficult people. Hello, we invite you to join this chariot for a 5 minute Bible study. This 20th episode on A Step of Faith is titled Enduring Difficult People. My name is Greg Alabi and I am inviting you to come let us study the Bible together. When you want to take a step of faith to achieve something significant, yet you have difficult people in your team, what should you do? Today we have a woman of God who will be speaking to us from her own experience on what to do when you have difficult people in your team. Please listen to her. Peace of the Lord be with you, thank you very much for the opportunity to take part in this group discussion on walking or walking with the difficult people and my way of dealing with them. To me, they are like tares among the weeds planted by the enemy around you like Matthew 13, 24-43 says, you will need wisdom of Jesus to deal with them, else their objective will be achieved. Walking or walking with difficult people is self-explanatory by itself, it is difficult. They operate on a different software, so they always choose to see things from different page, hence it makes it complicated. You know, they are very strong in their opinions, they can't change it, they can't reason with anybody, they find it difficult to understand or can't understand what is not their own suggestion. They choose not to understand, you can't exchange ideas with them, they won't submit, they are negative, they are bitter, I mean, they are toxic, easily contaminate, they are hard nuts actually to crack, they are religious, sanctimonious, most of the time they present themselves as full of justice, though the balance would only put them as the righteous, at times as Holy Spirit themselves. In bad days, when they go to parties, they will be there as the celebrant, you know, they want to really shine, outshine the celebrant. When they get to naming ceremony, they want to be the baby, and when they get to marriage, they want to be the groom or the bride, in funerals, they want to be shining there, they don't want to be in the casket though, but still want to shine, they want to be noticed, you have to be determined actually to have such people around you, you have to be focused, know what you are doing yourself, be bold, even though humble, to deal with them. No matter what you do, you can't change them, that is just one thing, I mean, being good to them may not change them, it doesn't mean it will change them, even though you are good, you just know what it is, that it is a weakness, they have, it is a weakness, Proverbs 10, 12 says, Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all things, but golden rule here is don't keep them too close to you, and don't try to change them, because this will only cause you pain, for example, David had to, you know, suffer so much with Joab, in his own domain, he has to tell, disclose it to his son Solomon, don't keep Joab in your space, otherwise it is a bad idea, it will frustrate you, so that was why Solomon was able to get rid of Joab, Judas, we all know what Judas did, in the cycle of Jesus, I mean, as disciple of Jesus Christ, he did not send him away, yes, Jesus didn't send him away, but he was not among his close circle, so deal with them, like understanding it, that we have that flaw, stay calm, show them love, pray for them, may the Lord help us and set us free from them, people like Saul, Ahithophel, Absalom, may the Lord help us, thank you very much. Alright, thank you very, very much, I want to encourage you to send your contribution on this scenario, how do you manage one or more members of your own team who only see the problems, the danger, the risks and discourages you and offer no solutions, send your contributions to gregalaby at gmail.com or by WhatsApp voice notes or in form of a text message, I also invite you to take a moment to visit our website gregalaby.com, look for the podcast, take some time to listen to them, we expect more contributions on these topics, so that we learn from your own experience, let us pray. Father, we thank you for the things we are learning, give us wisdom to manage and endure difficult people, in Jesus name, Amen. God bless you.
