Preparing for Manifestation

We thank you for this opportunity to study your Word. Papa, we pray that you make our hearts fertile enough to receive your Word and grant us the grace to abide by it in Jesus' name. Amen. Brethren, kindly let's take a confession from the book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the law shall not be part out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Beloved, our topic for today is titled, Preparing for Manifestation. And our scripture reading is taken from 2 Kings, chapter 4, verse 14 to 17, the New King James Version. So he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old. So he said, Call her. When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. Then he said, About this time next year, you shall embrace a son. And she said, O my Lord, man of God, do not lie to your maidservants, but the woman conceived and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her. Amen. Our second scripture is taken from Genesis, chapter 18, verse 13 to 14. And the Lord said to Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I surely bear a child since I am old? Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Amen. Preparing for Manifestation. Beloved, God answers prayer. When we pray, we must believe He will answer and prepare, therefore, for the manifestation of the answers to our prayers. When we pray to God and He answers us with a specific word, we must come into alignment with that word and believe. What we do in the period between receiving an answer in the place of prayer and its manifestation is very crucial. Like a pregnant woman waiting on the birth of her child, waiting for the manifestation of God's specific promises isn't without its own challenges. It is often the period where the devil sets in more doubts, anxieties, and uncertainties, all in a bid to cripple our faith. Beloved, maybe like the Shunammite woman, you have received a specific word from God about the situation. Maybe a specific timeline has been given or a specific instruction has been given to you to expect the answers to your prayer. Beloved, what you can do is to write down what God has spoken, pray over it constantly, search for scriptures concerning that word to buttress your faith, and wait for the manifestation of that promise. You can ask for wisdom and the strategies you need to prepare for the blessing and continuously speak it in faith. While we wait for manifestation, we must establish deeper roots in the word. We must guard our hearts and our minds against the doubts and the fears and adopt a posture of thanksgiving. Whilst God has spoken it, it will surely come to pass, but we must not hasten in fear and look for other solutions ourselves. We must rather go in faith and thank Him in advance while we wait. Brethren, let us prepare for the manifestation of the promises of God, believing that once He has said it, at the appointed time, it will surely come to pass. Shalom. We pray for the grace, the wisdom, and the patience to wait on Your promises and wait and prepare for the manifestation of the promises that You have given us.
