The morning devotion is led by Wendy Buatini, discussing the story of a woman who touched Jesus' garment to be healed. The woman's background and condition made it difficult for her to seek help, but she gathered her faith and strength to reach out to Jesus. We are encouraged to do the same and trust that if we touch Jesus' garment, we will receive answers and breakthroughs. Shalom Dearly Beloved and welcome to our morning glory devotion today. God bless you so much for being a part of our Just Ended Prayer Startup. Privileged to be facilitating our morning glory devotion this morning is Wendy Buatini from Harvest Chapel International Kumasi. Let's kindly share a word of prayer. Father we thank you so much for today. We thank you for this opportunity to hear from you. We ask oh God that you speak to us and you speak to our needs. We thank you for answered prayers in Jesus name. Amen. Let us kindly take our confession for today from Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not depart out of my mouth but I shall meditate in it day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous and then I will have good success. Amen. Our topic for this morning is if I may but touch his garment. If I may but touch his garment. And our scripture reading will be taken from Matthew chapter 9 verse 20 to 22. We'll be reading from the New King James Version. Matthew chapter 9 verse 20 to 22. And behold a woman which was deceased with an issue of blood twelve years came behind him and touched the hem of his garment. For she said within herself if I may but touch his garment I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about and when he saw her he said daughter be of good comfort thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. If I may but touch his garment. If I may but touch his garment I shall be whole she said. This was spoken by a woman who was broken and in need of help. She endured twelve years of bleeding which made her an outcast. She wasn't allowed into the temple because of her condition and she wasn't allowed to contact anyone. The background to the story of this woman makes it clear that there was no way she was supposed to do what she did, touch anything or anyone and definitely not Jesus. Like this woman our background, where we are coming from and the things we have done may not permit us to come into the presence of God to seek the help we so desperately need. Sometimes because of where we are coming from we feel that we do not deserve to be in the presence of God and much more to ask for help. The irony is that to break free from our weaknesses and the issues that weigh us down we need strength to overcome. We must therefore gather the little strength and faith we have and if it means crawling, dragging ourselves and kicking our way through to seek God and find him then we must pay every price to do so. What price have you paid to get the help you need from God? If only you may battach the hem of his garment, you will receive your answers and breakthroughs. Amen. Shall we please take our memory baths from Matthew chapter 9 verse 21. Matthew chapter 9 verse 21, for she said within herself, if I may battach his garment I shall be whole. Amen. Let's share a word of prayer. Father we thank you so much for your way that has come to us today. We pray Lord God Almighty that you grant us the faith and the strength to keep coming back to you and to hold on to you no matter what happens to us and no matter the circumstances that we may face. We thank you for answered prayers in Jesus' name. Amen. God bless you so much for being a part of our morning glory devotion today. We encourage you to continue to stay tuned here on Radio HCI today for more spirit filled content. Till we come your way again next time, do stay blessed. Shalom.
