Nothing to say, yet
The podcast explores the question of whether there is life in space. The host presents various facts and data to help listeners determine their beliefs. Possible UFO sightings and the Roswell incident are discussed, highlighting government cover-ups and limited access to information. The harsh environment of space is also mentioned, with evidence suggesting the presence of oxygen. The podcast emphasizes the vastness of the universe and the increasing probability of life forms. The host briefly touches on alien abduction stories but focuses on providing factual information. An interview with a finance major who believes in aliens is included. The host encourages listeners to keep an open mind and consider the possibilities. Hello, welcome to my podcast, my name is Jacob Groszak and today I'm tackling the mystery of is there life in space? The universe is a huge place and it keeps expanding forever. Are we truly the only ones here? I don't really know. Today I'm going to try to help you determine if you believe it's true or not that aliens exist. The universe is crazy big and some people don't want to find out what's out there because they fear the unknowns, but I'm just here, I'm not here to sway any opinions, I'm just here to give you some facts, give you some relevant data about what space life is like and if there is a possibility of aliens or some other thing out there. The universe is a weird and mysterious place as we all know. If we count that out and never look at what is possible in space, I don't think we're going to live our true lives. So let's just dive into it, okay? First thing first, let's begin with some possible UFO sightings. In the book Science Human Reproduction, it claims that there's an alien pod lurking in a drainage pond in the middle of Newport News, Virginia. The scientists who saw it described it as an unidentified fishy organism. And since this is a scientific report, it is a reliable source. This wasn't just made up. Things like this happen all the time. There's sightings of possible alien-like organisms all the time, but nobody ever looks over it in depth. So that's what we're going to try to do today. Along with this, there's the much more popular the Roswell, New Mexico incident. The article, The UFO Invasion, The Roswell Incident, Alien Abductions, and Government Cover-Ups, describes perfectly on many aspects of this incident. However, today I'm going to go describe one of the most important aspects, I believe, is the government blockage of information. The article claims, page after page, we have reports of highly intelligent people analyzing documents such as the MJ-12 papers to prove that it is a forgery. And the MJ-12 papers are basically Truman-era presidential memos about crash saucers, UFOs, possible alien sightings. The government pays people to make sure documents like these are claimed to be fake, so the public doesn't overreact and the public doesn't see what the possible truth is. The government is limiting us on many pieces of data from alien life. The government also claimed many films made about the incident that happened in Roswell, New Mexico, the government made them claim that they were fake. Now, I'm not truly sure what happened, but I'm just saying, like, if the government gets truly involved like this, something's got to be up a little bit. The government would not be in a silly issue, just like somebody's word against another's. Something probably did happen, it's just we don't know, and we probably will never know what exactly did occur that night. And that's what the frustrating part is. It neither confirms nor denies anything, but it's showing that there is something that's being hidden from us. It is part of the reason why alien belief varies so much from country to country, because different governments have different policies on possible alien sightings and press releases to the public. The second thing I kind of want to address is the possible environment in space. The environment in space is a hellscape, there's no way around it, it's brutal, and there's some evidence that it could possibly be inhabitable, but it'd be really difficult. In a study found in the Astrophysical Journal, it was found remarkably the O2 lines are only a factor of two to three times weaker than those from carbon monoxide observed with current day instrumentation. This proves that there is possibly oxygen in space. It's not a high amount, it's not a sustainable amount for a large conglomerate of organisms, but oxygen is a vital necessity for life, and the fact that it could possibly be in space proves the environment is possibly capable of lifeforms. In the book, Exoplanets, Hidden Worlds, and the Quest for Extraterrestrial Life, this describes how the universe is vastly expanding, and new planets are being found every day, and the fact that the universe is so big and it's forever expanding, you've got to think the probability for life just gets higher and higher as they go on, whether it's bacteria or even viruses. Viruses are little creatures that can survive in the hardest climates. They live in the coldest depths of the ocean and the highest elevations of mountains. I don't know if most people would consider this a lifeform, or it would technically count. I think when most people think of lifeforms, it's about, like, almost a human being figure instead of bacteria, but I say life is life. If there's bacteria in space, there's life in space, because that means if bacteria can survive, maybe a human-like organism can as well, and this means that some creatures out there, if there are any, might be able to survive the harsh climates of space. One topic I won't go into very much is the possible alien abduction encounter stories. I feel like they are worth listening to, definitely worth a listen, definitely worth hearing someone's opinion. I just feel like, from a perspective that it's just somebody's word against another person's word, and I'm just trying to produce facts here. I'm trying to provide information. I don't want to put it out there that, like, a story from, like, a farmer, like, a non-credible person in my eyes. I don't want to pass, like, judgments about the topic. I'm only here to provide information, so. These stories are definitely worth a listen. You can form your own opinion about them. I just feel like I don't want to put them on here just because. I don't want to sway anyone's opinions from just, like, a normal civilian, maybe just making stuff up to try to be funny or something. First off, I would like to introduce my good friend, Doug, who is a finance major here at the University of Minnesota, and he's currently a freshman. I'm just going to ask him a couple questions here. So, first off, Doug, do you believe in aliens? I do believe in aliens, and I do think they exist in... I don't believe they exist on Earth, but in outer space, for sure. Okay. Are you aware of how harsh the climate in space can be with immense pressure, limited water, and limited oxygen? I do. I do know about the pressure, but I do also know that there are research studies out there saying that there can be life outside of Earth, and there's, like, water and the stuff that people or other species need to live, so, yeah. And then, do you think information is being withheld from the public about alien conspiracies from, like, the government? Oh, yeah, for sure. I'm a big conspiracy theorist, so I do think there are things being withheld, and we cannot trust the government fully at this time in our... time in the world, or, yeah, universe. When I say life in space, what exactly, like, what exactly do you think of? Like, does bacteria count to you? Yes. Of course, you have to count bacteria, because bacteria, like, is what started the Earth. Like, bacteria was the first living thing on Earth, so, obviously, it's living, and come a million years from now, there's going to be other stuff, even if there's not any right now. For sure, bacteria counts. And then, one final question. If you could pick, would you want aliens to exist, or would you not, and why or why not? Yeah, I would want aliens to exist, just not in my environment. I think it's cool, and they're, like, cool to look at, like, Google images, but I don't think I would want E.T. living in my closet space, you know, that's just scary, and they look very scary, so, yeah, no. All right, Doug, thank you for your time, it was a pleasure talking with you. Thank you. So, the overall meaning of this podcast was to just make everybody have an open mind, present more information, I didn't want to adjust any of your thinking, I just want you to keep an open mind, and possibly, possibly ponder the question for a bit. I hope you all had a great time listening, thank you so much, and keep an open mind for the future, please.
