I feel like it's been a minimum two months since the last time we were all together. I think it has. It might be. It's been a long time. It's been since like January. Yeah, that's my bad. So sorry. Please forgive me. No. Oh, okay, awesome. I just want to say, I've been the only consistent member since I was on. I have not missed a show. Well, I had to go to Columbia. I had a couple of appointments. Like, I've been busy. I've had reasons. What I'm hearing is she's not committed. Yes. Availability is the best ability. I cannot believe that just came out of your mouth right now. Like, actually, that's not real. That is not something you just said. But it is. Oh, my gosh. Okay, so what have you guys been up to? Yeah, that's one guy, and Tracy's easily offensively beating him, which we saw because he still dropped 30 on me. Yeah. With Tracy McGrady. And then he had Shook. 4th on cage goes to 2k. Also, you said name any defense on that team. Shaq, Dwight, two of the best defense the Big Men have. Yeah, you're right, you're right. I was talking more perimeter, but we did have the interior defense. But perimeter, the only guy you had to guard was Kyrie. And Bron. Yeah, but he's not on the perimeter. We are going to talk about some baseball today. We love baseball. Woo! Very, very sad day in baseball for us. It was intense last night. Me and Ricky watched all of the O's game. I scored it all. Jackson watched the tail end of the Braves game. Was supposed to leave about 20 minutes before the end of the game. Jackson, do you want to touch on that? No, I don't. Okay. Rough loss for the Braves. Thought they had a chance of a comeback. When the only batter in your lineup that hits the ball. Was Marcel Azuna, who had two solo home runs. Great for Marcel. Good pitching performance. Yeah, Garrett Crochet went nasty. Great pitching performance from them. And then Kopech did well while he was in. Yeah. That's the future of the White Sox. If they're good anytime soon, it's on the backs of Crochet and Kopech. Yeah. And, of course, we saw both of them in the same game. The whole game, right? It was Crochet for... No, they brought in Brevia for like the last game. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because Kopech had like 40 pitches at that point. They'd used him over like two innings, so. He's a former starter. Was for... Was a starter last year at times. He could go for length. I really like Michael Kopech. If only he was on a decent team. Ricky, how do you feel about being dogged by the end of the Royals lineup? That's all I'm asking. That was... I'm sorry. Not great. I will say, a great pitching performance. Cole Irvin was not great, but he's... It was better than what he did last year. The bullpen went... Webb, Heasley, and... Some other righty. Can't think of his name off the top. Oh, Tate. All three looked great. They were lights out for the last three innings of that game. We just needed any sort of hits. I think we finished with three hits, so. Yeah, three hits. And we kept Witt and Perez under control. No hitting, no clutch hitting. No getting on base. We saw 60 pitches through the first six innings. And I think it was something like 75 after seven. Just no walks, no base runners. It was sad. Dang. Rough day to be you. Yep. Rough day to be me. I watched so much baseball and then fell asleep for the one game that I actually wanted to watch. Well, maybe stop liking Wesco's team. Yeah. Okay, well, I like one Wesco's team. Maybe stop liking bad teams. You like two Wesco's teams. You're a Warriors fan. Oh, okay. Well, most people are not like you. So, I like all the same teams in the same city. Right. And then. But. Then there's me. Then there's me where it goes Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta. No, that's the wrong way to Atlanta. I'm doing it from his point of view. Uh-oh. Durham, North Carolina for basketball. Yeah, it's a tough stretch. I got Vegas, L.A., Baltimore, and New York. Okay, I want you guys to both give me, and I'll do the same thing, a rundown on how you feel your team has done so far. And the future of your team for the rest of the season. Both of us are better than yours. So, I am very happy to talk about this. Jackson, go ahead. So, the Braves, obviously, we got a series dub against the Phillies, which was huge. We dominated the second game against them, 1-12-4. Strider looked good, even though he has a .350 RA. Like, it doesn't tell the story, because he had eight Ks in that game, and the only, like, problem he let up was a two-run bomb. Freed got just the worst call ever on him. He had bases loaded, two outs, threw a 2-2 pitch right down the middle. Right down the pipe. No strike call. Literally couldn't have been more down the middle. So, then he walks that guy and ends up giving up two runs and has 53 pitches in the first inning. So, Freed kind of got screwed in his first start. Sale looked good, even though we lost that game. He only gave up two runs over, like, six and a half innings. And then, Morton, of course, looked good. We beat the White Sox 9-0. Reinaldo Lopez looked really good. Him and Garrett Crochet were in a duel. You were talking about Reinaldo Lopez the entire time. Dude, I knew he was going to be good, and he was. It was just the problem was Garrett Crochet is also looking really good. So, I'm excited. The rotation looks good. The lineup yesterday was dead, but that happens sometimes. We were also playing in 30-degree weather. Oh, yeah. Against a lefty pumping upper 90s. And so, I'm not upset about it. We didn't get to take the series win. It's technically just a split, because the game today got postponed. We've got the Diamondbacks coming up for the first home series, and I like the rotation we go into that series with. It'll be Strider, Freed, and Sale for those three games, so I like that. I think the future looks good. Even though we're 3-2, I'd like to be 4-1, but it's early on. It doesn't really matter yet. They're also the Braves. Looking at that lineup, I have zero sympathy for you. They just need some warm-up. Man, I'm actually okay with today being postponed, because Orlando Garcia had a little bit of tightness in his back after the game yesterday, so he actually wasn't going to play today. Crazy that he's so good, and he's your night hitter. Yep. Today was actually going to be Luis Guillermo. Ooh. Guillermo. Guillermo. But I'm glad that that didn't have to happen, so hopefully the extra two days of rest for Garcia until Friday will put him back in the lineup. And then Murphy's already on the I.L., but that happens at the beginning of every season for him. And y'all have the best backup catcher in baseball. Travis Darno. Yep. So I think we're good as long as we can avoid injuries to our key stars, like Acuna, Strider, Olsen. As long as we can avoid those guys, and if it's just one injury at a time, I think we'll be fine. Some staggered injuries? Yeah. If we're going to get injured, I want everybody to get injured at a different time. I want this guy to be injured for like three weeks, he comes back, and then, oh, there goes Albies, he's out for a week, that's fine. Like, yeah, if we're going to get injured, it needs to be not at the same time. Valid argument. Ricky? Oz? Our bats have been inconsistent at best, but when they're on, they're insane. He killed the Angels two straight games. It was 25-6, 25-7 after the first two games. All they had was Mike Trout. I know. He had the highest home run I've ever seen. And it got out to left center field at 10 yards. Which is so deep. First pitch he saw, too, I want to say. He's so good. If he stays healthy, 40 home runs this year. I wish he would just leave LA so bad. Loyalty is a little overrated. I love loyalty, but, man, I just want to see that guy in a playoff game. I know. Just one. Just one game. Just a wild card matchup, please. Give me something, God. Our bullpen is shaky, but it's to be expected when we didn't add anything to it. We replaced Felix with Kimbrough. Kimbrough looked not great in his only appearance, but it wasn't even those stakes. He blew the save. First save opportunity. I like the way it looks. I think the East is going to be very, very tough. And starting off hot like the Raves did last year is huge for staying in the East. That's the difference for the Braves. The only competition we have in the East is the Phillies because the Mets look bad, the Marlins look bad. The Marlins look real bad. The Nets are just bad in general. Sorry, that was me being surprised. It's a shocking revelation that the Washington Nets, who their best player is Lane Thomas, are bad. That's how you know. It's crazy that I can't say that you're wrong. I was trying to think of any other national. Maybe Josiah Gray, but he's still not looked good ever. He throws hard, and that's about it. That's crazy. Yeah, that's their ace is Josiah Gray. I love Josiah Gray for zero reason. Yeah, everybody's really high on him, and then every time he plays the Braves, he gives up like six runs and three innings. You can tell with Jackson when nothing's going on back there because he just shuts down. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Baseball. Baseball. So, let's talk about why the Tigers are good. Why are the Tigers good, Ricky? They aren't. They're getting there. They're getting there. They are getting there. I really like Parker Meadows. I think two years from now, they're going to be good. I agree with that. I like their pitching. Mainly, Freak Scooble. Love him. He's so good. Casey Mize when he finally comes around. If he can stay healthy, he can be nasty. If he can be a WRA pitcher, that'd be great. He works as sinker change and then a curve. I think he can be very good. I was a big fan when he got drafted. Injuries have killed him his entire career. And much as I hate to say it, pitchers don't usually come back from that, especially when it starts so young. I like their young pieces. I like Spencer Torkelson. Kelly Carpenter. Kelly Carpenter, yes. And Parker Meadows, I think out of LSU. Don't quote me on that. Riley Green could turn around at some point. He's still young. I think they have a chance. I think every team in the Central has a chance. Everybody in the Central has a chance because everybody in the Central is not great. The AL Central is always so fun to watch because there's nothing to watch. It's the same five periods competing to see who gets to 85 wins first. And whoever gets there usually wins the division. And it's typically the Guardians or the Twins. And they always end up playing the Yankees. And then they lose immediately. And then the Yankees lose. The Yankees lose. Who do you think is going to take that division this year? Give me a prediction. For me, it's between the Twins and the Tigers. You think the Tigers are going to keep this up the whole season? I think they have some sneaky could-win-85-games energy. I'm always going to throw the Guardians in there because they seem to always have to be. They have to. It's just not an option. I just don't like their pitching. It's in the script. No. White Sox don't have a chance. Their only pitcher is Garrett Crochet. I mean, when you're throwing out Chris Flexen for a start, it's not a good day for you. I think the Royals can be very good. But next year. They don't have a bullpen. Twins or just the Twins? Twins consistently have good pitching, consistently have decent bats. Their defense is not bad. But nothing they do is spectacular. Everything they do is above average. And that's all you need. I don't know if that's anything bad. It's the same with both centrals, honestly. The NL and AL. If you're above average at everything. I hate the NL Central. Why? Because I hate the Cardinals. For what reason? They're just so boring. Even when they're good, they're so boring. Oh my God. I don't think the Cardinals win that division. No. Cubs? Cubbies have a chance. I could go with the Cubs, too. Brewers are my favorite right now. I wouldn't mind it. I like D.L. Hall. I think the Cubs have the most talented roster in that division. Yeah. But do you think they win games with that roster? I don't know. Because that bullpen is tough. It's ferocious. Tough. Javier Assad. Michael Foley. Yikes. Drew Smiley. I feel bad for Drew. Drew Smiley is on a team. Why is Kyle Hendricks still in a rotation? I don't know. I don't get what the Cubs do. Ever since before 2016, didn't get it. After 2016, haven't gotten it. 2016, I didn't even get it. They were just on a tear. Nope. I just loved them. Go get Ben Zobris. You're going to be decent. Offensively, they're pretty good. It's honestly just their pitching. And I feel like everyone saw that coming. When you have a lineup as Murrell and Horner and Bansbee and... Bellinger and then adding Garrett Cooper. Matt Mervis. Matt Mervis. Hecro Armstrong. Hecro Armstrong will be up there at some point. I mean, that lineup is good. It's the pitching. And Shodei Managa. So good. Six innings, seven games. Only problem with that lineup, honestly, is that they are decently inconsistent. Which is a problem. Like, some days they could put up ten runs like they did last night. And then tonight they might put up two. I think what's essential is if the Reds, if their young hitters put it together, I think they win 90 games. They have the rotation to do it. Yeah. Hunter Green, so good. And then you add Frankie Montaus into that. Yeah. Andrew Abbott, real good. They, I, seeing what happened with the O's, with how their young guys handled it, if everyone starts hitting well and consistently, they win 90 games. But they don't make it very far in the playoffs. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them, like, perform decently this year and then trade some guys at the deadline and then stock up pitching next year. Yeah. Hey, if there's a game for the Marlins to win, Lance Lynn is pitching tomorrow for the Cardinals. Yeah. If there is a game for them to win. I hate the Cardinals. And then your boy Josiah Grace throwing tomorrow, too, with his 15.75 ERA to start the season. He's so bad at baseball, dude. I have never once seen Josiah Grace pitch a good game. I've seen him pitch an okay game. I've never once seen him throw a good game. You know, I think the only game I've seen him, like, watched him pitch, it was against the O's, and I think he locked us down. Which is insane, considering his career ERA is 4.76. How old is he, 27? Um, he was born in 97. It's not giving me his age. Oh, yeah, it is 26. He's got to turn that around soon. Yeah, and his first start he went 4. Being a top prospect and then doing that. Not pitching well as the ace of the Nets. His ERA is 4. That means nothing. Oh, how's Mackenzie Gore doing? Mackenzie Gore? I love him. I hate his number, but I love him. What's his number? One. He's a pitcher. I hate him. Yeah. Came from the Padres, and everybody in the Nets organization was like, oh, this is our next stud. No. All three guys that they got from selling the entire team? They thought were their next guys, and they're just not. Hebert Ruiz, not good. C.J. Abrams, not good. He's the best of the bunch. And he's still not good. I think the Robles is still there somehow. Mackenzie Gore started out with a 5.06 ERA. Went 5 in the third inning. 5 hits, 3 runs. Okay. A 1 WIP? Yeah. I mean, he's just not good. I like looking at WIP way more than ERA this early in the season. Right. That's fair. His career ERA, though, is 4.46. Just not. Last year was his first full season starting. Right. But. I, especially on bad teams, I like to give these prospects a little bit longer of a leash before you start judging. Have you seen, like, all the brawny memes about where he's going to train? Yes. Oh, my gosh. They are so funny. I just saw a CCU varsal wine that said, welcome your next shot at clearing. That'd be the only. Oh, my God. We need him. We need him. Because then we'd actually get people to go to our basketball games. Right. Like, that'd be the only purpose. The crazy part is we'd still lose most of our games.
