I have been composing poems and music since I was eight years old. At eighty-five, I still remember a bit of that simple song. Since my husband's death, I have found writing and notating music to be a joyful distraction from grief, while notating those compositions allows me the hope that I can share my music with the world. His dying wish: "May your quest for Music be fulfilled!"
