Cinco punto cinco

I found it challenging to adapt to my new studies because the tourism focus and subjects are very different here compared to what I learned in high school. The degree here is in ecology and tourism management, which includes subjects like flora, fauna, and biology. It was difficult for me because my previous knowledge of tourism was more focused on heritage and not as in-depth. However, now I see it as an advantage and a strength, even though it took me a while to adjust. Pues ahora lo veo como una fortaleza, porque sí me costó mucho adaptarme, pero no por el simple hecho de que tenga clases los fines de semana, sino porque las materias son totalmente diferentes, porque obviamente el enfoque del turismo en cada país es muy diferente. Y como acá el pregrado es gestión en ecología y turismo, es muy diferente a la licenciatura en turismo. Entonces, al tener materias que se enfoquen más como la flora y la fauna, la biología, ese tipo de materias que nosotros tal vez vimos en preparatoria, pero no tan a fondo como lo ven acá, es muy complicado porque nosotros venimos con un chip de un turismo muy patrimonial y ver como que otra perspectiva del turismo es muy diferente. Entonces, ahora lo veo como una ventaja, lo veo como una fortaleza, pero sí me costó demasiado adaptarme.
