Nothing to say, yet
The transcription is a prayer and introduction to a Bible study session. The speaker expresses gratitude to God and asks for clarity and understanding. They thank God for various things in their lives and ask for His guidance. The speaker then introduces the topic of the Bible study, which is becoming a disciple of Jesus and not man. They discuss the concept of being a "sent one" and examine scriptures to gain clarity on this topic. They emphasize the importance of being sent by God and not going on one's own. The speaker highlights the need for self-examination and warns against being deceived by false teachings. They encourage listeners to be doers of the word and not just hearers. The speaker concludes by discussing the importance of putting God first and being available for His work. They emphasize the need to love, give, and complain less, and to allow the Spirit of the Lord to guide and control their lives. five-fourth ministry, we give an honor to you as well, especially those in the household of faith, it is truly, truly a blessing, we have been on this series for a little while now, and we are talking about becoming a disciple of Jesus and not man, we have a very simple topic today, and our topic is sent ones, Amen, and we are going to talk about some things that will give you clarity, whether you were sent by God or you went by yourself, because there are a lot that proclaims to be children of God, but when we measure up what they are doing with scripture, does it line up with scripture, and not only are we going to talk about that, but we are going to also, first thing we are going to do is examine ourselves, to see have we been sent by God or we went on our own, Amen, because a lot of times we allow people to talk us into doing something and not understanding that maybe God has something different from your life, that is why I am so adamant that we stay in our word and get an understanding and clarity of what our Lord and Savior has called us to do, what is our purpose here, so our topic tonight is sent ones, and we are going to look at some scriptures on tonight, and we are going to talk to some brothers on tonight, and you know, we are going to talk to Timothy on tonight, we are going to talk to John on tonight, we are going to look at Luke on tonight, we are going to talk to Romans, I mean we are just going to go all over the place, going to Acts, we are going to go back to John, so we are going to talk to all those individual apostles, Paul, Peter, Timothy, we are just going to go all over the place tonight, and we are going to have a good time like we always do, so I just want you to touch and agree with me on tonight, that everything that we talk about tonight, it gives God the glory, and that His word has truly impacted us, and not only we just be hearers, but we be doers as well. Amen. Go with me to John 8, John 8 chapter, Amen, 28 through 32, John 8 chapter, verse 28 through verse 32, our topic tonight is sent ones, are you sent by the Lord, or you went on your own, and we are going to talk about some things on tonight that are going to give us clarity of it. If none of this meet your expectation, pray while we are working that the Lord give you clarity of what He wants you to do. Amen. Amen. It's not that you are not being used by God, but we are trying to give ourselves some clarity to make sure that we are going in the right direction, and we are trying to remove some things that hinder us from being used by God. Amen. Amen. John 8 chapter, 28 through 32, and it reads in the TPT, the Passion Translation, you will know me as I am after you have lifted up from the earth. You will know me as I am after you have lifted me up from the earth, as the son of man. Then you will realize that I do nothing on my own initiative, but I only speak the truth that the Father has revealed to me. The TPT, the Passion Translation, verse 29, I am his messenger, and he is always with me, for I only do which delight his heart. I only do which delight his heart. And what he is saying, he only do what beautifies him. He only do what glorifies him. These words cause many respected Jews to believe in him. Verse 31, Jesus said to those Jews who believe in him, when you continue to embrace all that I teach you, prove that you are my true followers, for if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom in your lives. When we look at that, my brothers and sisters, it gives us a clarity that you will know me as I am after you have lifted me up from the earth. When you lift up the son of man, you will know that he is God. And you will do nothing of yourself, because he will teach you, he will never leave you, and you will leave, I'm sorry, he will teach you and he will never leave you. You and you will do everything that pleases him. Amen. Only if you abide in his word, you can be his disciple and know the truth and be set free. Amen. When you lift up the son of man, he will draw all unto him. We're talking about sent ones on tonight. Are you lifting up yourself or others or are you lifting up the son of God? We have to really look at this scripture because I want to really take my time with this scripture here. It says you will know me as I am after you have lifted me up from the earth. And when you look at that there, it has a two-fold meaning, it has a dual meaning in these words. It's talking about to honor Jesus as well as to exalt him. It's a two-fold. It's talking about to honor Jesus as well as exalt him. When you lift him up, it reveals his true identity of who he are in our lives. When we honor him, when we exalt him, it reveals his true identity in our hearts of how we really feel about him. Now, when we look at the word for lifted up, it can also mean to exalt and therefore to honor. Now, however, Jesus was lifted up on a cross and that's what the Jews didn't understand when it came to their scripture. Oh, glory to God. My God. Suspended between heaven and earth and died for the sins of all mankind. Now, both of these implications are found in these words of Jesus. Listen to what it says. You will know me as I am after you have lifted me up from the earth. You got to catch that, my brothers and sisters. Pastor, do you have another New King James Version? John 8 chapter verse 28. John 8 and 28. I wanted to look at this from a different perspective here, my brothers and sisters. Because when we lift up the Son of Man, things happen. And as we go further into the lesson of tonight, you're going to see lives change as well as your lives change. Amen. Listen to what it says. John 8 and 28. Then Jesus said to them, when you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself. But as my Father taught me, I speak these things. When we lift him up, it doesn't understand that he was suspended between heaven and earth. A lot of times we think lifting up like we're picking up someone. But it's a spiritual aspect of what we're really dealing with. So the more that we spin in the spiritual, the more that we comprehend of the movement of God. A lot of times we don't understand atmosphere being shifted because we're in the natural. But when we're in the spiritual realm, it's like having an out-of-body experience. You can be right here in Manatee County, Palmetto, Harrisburg County, and be over in Tokyo. I wish I had some help up in there. Because now we're getting into the spiritual realms of things. And so as Jesus was speaking, then you can comprehend it. This is why Paul said in the Bible, that I can't speak spiritual things to you because you're carnal. So when you lift up the Son of God, you will know that he is God and you will do nothing of yourself. If you ever truly experience a relationship with him, and you acknowledge that he is your Lord and Savior, and you have been baptized, and you have repented and turned from your ways, and when you go to sharing Christ himself, now you are lifting him up by God. This thing is bigger than what we think it is. We're talking about sent ones on tonight. Only those that are truly his disciples will understand where we're going tonight. Sent ones. Are you a sent one or are you just a rent one? Let's go to 2 Timothy. 2 Timothy, 3rd chapter, 1-7. 2 Timothy, 3rd chapter, 1-7. And let's see where we're headed here. We're talking about becoming a disciple of Jesus and not man. Our topic tonight is sent ones. And those that have just tapped in on tonight, put on your seatbelt and get ready for a ride. Because the train is starting to pick up speed. Oh, we're talking about a bullet train on tonight now. It's going to be fast. Quick. This is what it says, 2 Timothy, 3rd chapter, 1-7. From the TPT, the passage translation. But you need to be aware that in the final days, the culture of society will become extremely fierce. But you need to be aware that in the final days, the culture of society will become extremely fierce. People will be self-centered, lovers of themselves, and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they squirt around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. You see it right now. Only the sent ones are going to see this. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful, ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to the desire. They will be furious, belligerent, haters of what is good and right. With brutal treachery. They will always, I'm sorry, with brutal treachery. They will act without restraint, bigotry, and wrath in cause of their conceit. They will find the delight and pleasure of this world more than the pleasure of loving God. They may continue to have a respect for God, but in reality, they want nothing to do with God's power. And we look at some verses of it, some say that they recognize the God in this other, but denying the very power. Which can change them, which can heal them, which can deliver them, which can set them free. They don't want that. Verse 5 again, they may continue to have a respect for God. Verse 5, Pastor of 2 Timothy. 3rd chapter, verse 5. They may continue to have a respect for God, but in reality, they want nothing to do with God's power. No way for people like these. Verse 6, for they are the ones who warm their way into the heart of vulnerable women. Spending the night with those who are captives by their lust, and steeped in sin. Verse 7, the final verse, they are always learning, but never discover the revelation knowledge of truth. Pastor of 5, 6, and 7, and who King James Version? 2 Timothy. 2 Timothy. 3rd chapter. 5th verse says, having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Having a form of godliness. So that means that they are doing everything that we are doing. They are speaking in tongues, they are quoting scriptures, they have elegant speech, they have a way with words, they are doing things just like us. Everything that glitters is gold. That's it. But denying its power, and from such people turn away. Verse 6 says, for of this sort are those who creep into households, and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts. Verse 7 says, always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Wow. Always learning. Always learning. Always there. Always involved. Stay in seminars. But never come into the truth. That's it. Of nothing. That's it. That they are partaking in. They can tell you how to live your life, but they are not living their life, and what they are telling you. We are always professing to be authentic children of God, but there are some things that we can see that allow us to understand that this individual was not sent by God. Because our topic today is sent ones. There are going to be some things that we are going to read that are going to help us examine ourselves to see whether we were sent by God or not. It's not about the next individual, but it's about getting ourselves together. Because Paul says, while I am inviting those to this gospel, I myself better be careful that I don't be disqualified. So, there are so many people trying to bring people into this gospel realm, but have not examined those selves. Right. Right. That's the issue that we are having. I believe that if we examine ourselves more, we are able to help more. Because the hurting part of it, what people want to call church of the life, is when you have been following someone, you have been mentored by someone, when they fall, you fall as well. That's it. And that's a sign that you have not been sent by God. We're not calling no one out, we're not picking at no one, but we're trying to get ourselves together. Because we just read in the beginning right here, but you need to be aware in verse 1 of 2 Timothy 3, that in the final days, the culture of society will become extremely fierce. So, we are being warned of this. So, that means that this is already taking place. How close is our Lord and Savior from returning? So, we have to be in place to make sure that we're not disqualified from going to heaven. Amen. This thing is so powerful, it is so real. When was the last time you truly examined yourself? We're quick to talk about the Word of God, but we're not quick to apply it to ourselves. Because we're just hearers and not doers. So, we're not only going to be hearers anymore, Pastor Barber, but we're going to be doers as well. Everything we read, we have to apply to our life immediately. Because we're held accountable for everything we hear, everything we see, everything we touch, we're accountable for it. These are things that will let you know you're not sent by God. Yes. Because you put things before Him. Whether your children, your marriage, your ministry, your job, whatever. These are some of the disqualifying things that let you know that you're not sent by God. Because if you put anything before Him, you're not sent by Him. Okay. And this is where we have to examine ourselves first. Nothing should come before Him as an authentic child of God, as a disciple. This is why some will say, well, let me go say goodbye to my father, or let me bury the dead, or let me do my...etc., etc. We make too many excuses of why we're not available for Christ. And we're getting all this training from this place, that place, and this place. But we're not available with the training that we have. If Christ was to call you back now to go do something, are you available? Are you ready? Or do you have to wait until Sunday in order to do it? Jesus. So this is what's going to separate us from just going or being sent. Because if you are sent by Christ, you're no longer in control of your life. That means He's your Lord. When we look at the root word of Lord, that means He's your cover. If He's your cover, that means He's in control of your life. Listen to this. These are the things that let you know that you're not sent by God, because you put things before Him. And you're always learning and not coming into the full knowledge of the truth. But when you are set free, and you know the truth, you will not take years to do what God has called you to do. We are going after a crown that won't last forever. You've got to be doers, inheritors to God. You've got to be doers, inheritors together. It's not your job to just learn who God is. It's your job to do as Christ did. We have all this knowledge, but we are not putting it to use. We are not available for Jesus. And He distinguished us, and He let us know whether we are sent by Christ or whether we just went on our own. Examined ourselves. Examined ourselves. We've got to do better than what we're doing. Because I believe that when we truly be sent by Christ, we'll love more. We'll give more. We'll do more. We'll complain less. We'll have less anxiety. Oh come on somebody. Because the more Christ you get, the less problems you have. Now I'm not saying that you'll have no problems in your life. But I'm saying those problems won't be as effective as they are now. They won't be as effective as they are now. When we get more Christ in us. That means we are totally allowing the Spirit of the Lord to lead, guide, and control as well. What are we talking about Pastor? Let's go to Luke 6. Go to Luke 6. We're talking about sent ones on tonight. Luke 6, 39-42. Luke 6. Verse 39-46. Luke chapter 6. Verse 39-42. I'm sorry. Luke 6, 39-42. Luke 6, 39-42. I'm coming from the TPT on tonight. The Passion Translation. Our series is Becoming a Disciple of Jesus and Not Man. Our topic tonight is sent ones. Verse 39 of Luke 6. Jesus also quoted these proverbs. What happens when a blind man pretends to guide another blind man? They both stumble into a ditch. And how could the apprentice know more than his master? For only after he is fully qualified will he be at that level. Verse 41. Why do you focus on the flaws in someone else's life instead of noticing the glaring flaws of your own life? Verse 42. How could you say to your friend, here, let me show you where you are wrong. Where you are guilty of even more than he is. You are overly critical, split in half, and being a hypocrite. You must acknowledge your own blind spots and deal with them before you will be able to deal with the blind spots of your friend. Did we catch that? Did we catch that? Amen. It is so adamant that we thoroughly examine our own flaws. It is not our job to correct no one in their faults. It is our job to tell them about the goodness of Jesus and all that he has done for you. My God. And I believe that when we operate in that type of structure, people will receive us more. Because 99.99.99% people know where they are wrong at in their world. Already. Already know where they are wrong at. And that is not what they want to hear. They want to hear something that they can grab a hold to. Not only can I get delivered from this, but I can stay delivered from the sin. Just don't minister and tell folks, hey, this is what you should come out of and this is what takes place. Okay, now I'm coming up out of a drug addiction. I'm coming up out of a lust addiction. But how do I keep from going back is what we need to be telling the individuals. And the only way we can do that is by examining ourselves. You cannot minister in an area where you're walking and blame yourself. So we're talking about sin, Ron, and we're talking about things that are hindering us from truly being used by God. Where are the gifts that he has given us? Where are the talents that he has given us? Why are they are not in use? It's because we're too busy walking in the natural. Amen. And I'm going to give you some witnesses that are going to clarify everything that I'm saying. Because I don't believe in this talking. I don't believe in this giving what I think others should be, but I'm going to give you scripture as well. Let's look at this thing. Are you sent by Christ? Are you an ambassador of Christ? Are you? Are you? A disciple is not superior to his teacher. Amen. But everyone, when he is trained, readjusted, restored, set to right, and perfect, will be like his teacher. Let me give you a couple of scriptures that will give you some examples of you being sent or you just went. Romans 8 and 28 says, For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son. Ephesians 4 and 13 says, The completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection. 1 John 3 and 2 We shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 4 and 17 Because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4 and 17 says, Because as he is, so are we in this world. Sent ones. These are some of the qualifications, some of the attributes of you being sent by Christ. Now watch this. Is it possible to walk like him? Is it possible to pray like him? Is it possible to be like him now in this world? Is it possible? Let's go to Luke 9. Let's go to Luke 9. Now I'm going to slow it down right here. Luke 9, 1, 2, and 3. I'm going to slow it down right here because now we're in the meat and potatoes right here. Our series is Becoming a Disciple of Jesus and Not Man. Our topic tonight is Sent Ones. This is what it says in Luke 9. Do you have it? Now, the question is, is it possible to walk, pray, and be like him in this world? Luke 9, 1, 2, and 3 says, Jesus summons together his twelve apostles. When we look at that, Jesus called them. He implied them to gather. And he imparted to them authority over every demon and the power to heal every disease. Oh my God! The question is, is it possible to walk like him, pray like him, and be like him in this world? Now we're talking about sent ones. Not those that went on their own or encouraged by others, but sent ones. There's a big difference. Let me repeat it again. Verse 1 of Luke 9. Jesus summons together his twelve apostles. And imparted to them authority over every demon and the power to heal every disease. I want you to get 1, 2, and 3 parts in the New King James. Then he commissioned them to proclaim God's kingdom and to heal the sick to demonstrate that the kingdom had arisen. As he sent them out, he gave them these instructions. Take nothing extra on your journey. Just go as you are. Don't carry a staff, a bike pack, food, money, not even a change of clothes. Now the question is, why did Jesus tell them not to take anything with them? Have you ever thought about that as you read this scripture? Why did he tell them that? Because he was getting them to trust and he was getting them also to walk by faith. We cannot be authentic sent ones if we don't have certain things with us. If we don't have a certain amount of people to minister to. If we don't have a certain entourage to go with us. He was getting them to trust and walk by faith. But also because they already had the five items they were told not to bring. Now, as their spiritual counterparts are found in him, he is our treasurer, he is our strength, he is our living bread, he is our provider as well as our righteousness. So this is why he was telling them not to take anything with them because everything they need was already with them. Everything you need is only inside of you. He did not equip you with not everything that you need. I'm going to say this again, I'm going to say it for the whole world. We're not going to run out of food, we're not going to run out of water. He has not put us in a place where it cannot sustain us until it's returned. He said he would never leave you no possession. He said I will supply all of your riches according to all of your needs, according to my riches in glory. So if you are truly sent by God, and I know I have multiple witnesses online right now that lost jobs, lost loved ones, lost whatever, and God still provided for them. Look at the pandemic, yes we lost a lot of people, but suddenly we are still here. Amen, bless the Lord. We are still here. Even when fear rose up, even when we didn't even trust our own loved ones. That was the tactic and scheme of the enemy Because he knows that we will die off if we don't come together as a body in Christ. And he tried to kill not only those, but everyone. But God, but God. You got to see the thing for what it really is. But God, this is what he was trying to get them to understand. Yes, I know you have all this material stuff, but I'm going to provide your needs according to my riches in glory. Where I send you at, you're going to eat. Where I send you at, you're going to lay your head down. Where I send you at, you're going to be safe. Trust me. Trust me. Do you trust him enough to provide, not some, but all of your needs? Do you really trust him? Or do you trust your paycheck? Or do you trust the government? Or do you trust your health? Or do you trust your wives? Or are you depending on this person? Or are you depending on that person? Who do you really trust? So we need to think from a different perspective, my brothers and sisters. Not saying that, okay, God don't send people in our lives to help us. And that's what he does. But he don't send people in our lives so that we can be a crutch for them. Or they can be a crutch for us. Our soul should only depend on him and nothing else. Nothing else. Nothing else. If you lose everything right now, will you still worship him? Will you still love him? Will you still call on his name? Will you still do what he called you to do? Will you still be an ambassador? Because we're talking about the sick ones. Those that are going to endure the suffering. Because in order to reign with Christ, we must also suffer with him. Let us understand something, that we are only here temporarily. The Bible says that we're like a mere vapor. We're going to soon vanish. So while we're trying to hold on to all this material stuff, it's going to be a big pile of ashes. That's all. Because we're running after a crown that does not last. So we have to truly examine ourselves. We truly have to repent on a lot of things. We have to get it together. And we need one another to do that. We cannot do this on our own. We cannot separate ourselves. This is not a time to separate. This is a time to come together. The enemy separated us for two and a half years and still got some of us separated. It's time for us to go and get those and bring them together and let's hang out together. Because watch, as we see the day approaching, we got to enjoy every moment together. We got to spit to one another. Let one another know, hey, it's okay. It's going to be alright. I'm here. Call up someone you haven't talked to in a while. Whether they hurt you or not, you got to get it right. Because it's the small foxes that disgust the fox. Amen. Don't let you thinking that you got together cause you to miss heaven. Yes. Because of disobedience. Because of your unforgiveness heart. Get it right, my brothers and sisters. That mother, that father, that sister, that brother, that auntie, that cousin, whoever. Let's get it right. So that we can truly be used by God. Let me move on. Verse 3 says, take nothing extra on your journey. Just go as you are. Don't carry a staff, a backpack, food, money, or even a change of clothes. My brothers and sisters, when we look at that, we have been training for years. Now it's time for us to go and preach and heal the sick. As he sent us, preaching the kingdom of God is going to take all of us. Amen. That's why we got training and then we train others to delight and believe on Jesus. We was trained by Jesus. What do you mean, pastor? Holy Spirit, where you at? Write these down. John 17 and 21. John 17 and 23. John 17 and 25. John 6 and 38. Not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me. John 7 and 16. My doctrine is not mine, but He is that sent me. My brothers and sisters, it's in the Bible over 40 different times, the word sent. So it's got to be important to us. We are also sent not just to do stuff. We need to hear from Him on what to do. How you've been sent by God. If you are sent by God, that means you are speaking for God and doing the things of God. So if you're not doing the things of God, why are you singing or calling His name? My brothers and sisters, it is so adamant that we truly come into the full knowledge of the truth of the word of God. And how to express it in us. Not no one else, but how to express the word of God in you. How to truly dissect and enjoy the word of God. Because I believe the more you dissect it, the more you read it, the more you enjoy it, and the better you can express it. Because it becomes you. It starts to consume you. And what you usually see of people, you don't see that anymore. Can you imagine Christ only seeing the bad that we do? Can you imagine that, Pastor Bob? He only sees the negative side of what we do. Can you imagine He only hears the bad things that we think about or say? Can you imagine that? Can you imagine He could say, you know what? I wish I never got on that call with Him. Can you imagine hearing your Lord and Savior say that to you? Because can you imagine the things that we say to Him after all He's done for us? First of all, by not loving one another, which is the greatest commandment. How can you keep the rest of the commandments and you can't keep that one for love? How? The Bible says you're hypocrite, so you're lying and the truth is not in you. What is it to gain the whole world and have no love? What is it? Why is the simplest thing that we have to do become the hardest thing to do? Love. Why do we use it so loosely? Do you really understand what love really means? That God gave His only begotten Son? That whosoever believes on Him shall be saved? Do we really understand? Because it's simple stuff. We make stuff so hard and so complicated until we think that we're doing right and we're really doing wrong. I don't care what you do, however you speak, however you teach. If you ain't got no love, it does you no good. You're like a bunch of singling grass and clinging things that are just making noise. That's it. That's all. If you are truly sent by Christ, there's a different type of love that you dispense everywhere you go. And it's a God-given love. It shows. It speaks for itself. The smile. The embrace. The handshake. Your presence. Atmosphere shift us. Sent ones make a difference in the land. We don't look for a pat on the back. We don't look for accolades. Because we have come into the truth of the word of God. We have come to the full knowledge of it. And I understand it now. That nothing I do I get glory for. It's all for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Let's move on. Go to me to Acts 9. I'm sorry, not Acts 9 now. Luke 10. I want you to read Luke 10 first. Luke 10, 16-19. I want you to catch that first. And then we'll go to Acts 9, 10-17. But I want you to grab Luke first in order for you to truly understand where I'm headed with this now. How serious it is becoming a disciple of Jesus and not man. Our topic tonight is sent ones. Don't forget each Tuesday. I invite you to chat and write down at least three things that we gained or gathered from the Bible study teaching. It's not mandatory. But believe you me, it encourages the man of God to know that you are grasping what it is that God is giving him to teach on tonight. So when we get towards the end of the Bible study, those of you who will, and thank you so much Evangelist Andrea for being faithful about it. Whatever three points. It could be during the Bible study. Whatever three points that you gained that encouraged you during the Bible study that stuck with you. Just write it down. Put it in the chat so I can share with the man of God and let him know, yes, listen, they were getting it. Thank you. Luke 10. I want you to look at Luke 10, 16-19. And then we'll go to Acts 9, 10-17. Just to give us clarity of where we're headed at with our final John 20, 21-23. This is what it says in Luke 10. Jesus concluded his instruction to the 70 with these words. Remember these, whoever listens to your message is actually listening to me. Anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And not only me, but the one who sent me. Verse 17 of the TPT. When the 70 missionaries returned to Jesus, they were ecstatic with joy. Telling him, Lord, even the demons obey us when we command them in your name. Jesus replied, while you were ministering, I watched Satan topple until he fell suddenly from heaven like lightning to the ground. Now, you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority. My brothers and my sisters, I want you to grab a hold to this here. And I want you to see this as Christ is showing us, as Christ is demonstrating this to us and truly what he's saying to us. Now, looking at Luke 10, go over to Acts 9 and I'll explain Luke 10 through Acts 9. Acts 9 chapter 10 through 17. Acts 9 chapter verse 10 through 17. Now I want you to catch this now, because this is going to be powerful. Acts 9 chapter verse 10 through 17. Living in Damascus was a believer named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, calling his name Ananias. Yes, Lord, Ananias answered. The Lord said, go at once to the street called Abundance. Some verses say the street called Strait. And look for a man from Paris named Saul. You will find him at Judah's house. While he was praying, he saw him in a supernatural vision, a man named Ananias, coming to lay hands upon him to restore his sight. Oh my gosh. Did y'all miss that? When Christ gives you an assignment, listen to it again. The Lord said, go at once to the street called Abundance. And look for a man from Paris named Saul. You will find him at Judah's house. Now, while he was praying, which was Saul, he saw in a supernatural vision a man named Ananias, coming to lay hands upon him to restore his sight. My God, my God. God is not the author of confusion. When you are truly sent by him, you don't have to be afraid of nothing. Because as we read further down in the script, Saul was a man that was persecuting the Christians. And Ananias said to him, Lord, have you not heard of this paraphrase he's saying? Have you not seen what this man is doing to people like me? That we're proclaiming your name. Wow. See, it kind of reminds me of the son of the steward that proclaiming to be sent by God. But the demon says, Jesus, I know him. Paul, I had a question with. But who are you? Amen. You see, you can't fool me. But you can't fool them demons. They know whether you were sent by God or not. They know whether you were a true follower of Christ. Whether they tell Peter, he's one of them. How do they know? Your speech gives you away. There's going to be something that's going to distinguish you from being a part of the world, but also a part of the kingdom. Amen. Oh, my God, my God. You can tell them all they're sent by Christ. There's something different about them. People walk in the store, they're going to put their hands on you. There's something different about you. Don't get offended. You're one of the closest things that they're going to get to Christ. Wow. Because you were sent to that store. You don't know why you stopped by here. I never did. But I'm going to stop anyhow. Woo. My God, when you were sent by Christ, these are the things that take place. Amen. You can't be afraid. Verse 13. You've got to see that thing, my brothers and sisters. Woo. I have chosen this man to be my special messenger. You've got to see this thing. Oh, my goodness. I am just overwhelmed by this thing. Verse 14. My brothers and sisters, you've got to look at this. That's what it really is. And you've got to see it for what it really is. When we look at this verse here, and as we look at what was taking place in this verse. Ananias means that the Lord graced his gift. Now, he truly was the Lord's gracious gift to Paul, who was healed by God's gracious gift. Now, the word gracious is found 125 times in the New Testament. And Paul uses the word 120 times. Now, my brothers and sisters, as we look at this, and as we take our time, we will come to an understanding that will give us clarity of what Luke 10 was talking about. And as we go diving deeper into it, woo, my God, my God. As being a messenger, as being a tool of God, it is an understanding that God has given us experience through our brothers and our sisters. Man, you've got to catch this guy. You've got to catch this guy. Jesus came to us in visions. What will your answer be? Will you be available for him if Christ came to you in a vision? You've got to be ready when Jesus calls on you. That's why we're training and we're making ourselves ready for our calling. That's how we are called, sent ones. That's confirmation that God is not the author of confusion. He let you know as well as the one that's going to receive. God sent and chose who he pleases. The thing of it is, my brothers and sisters, we just have to be obedient to his voice. Amen. And when we be obedient to his voice, my brothers and sisters, we see exactly what Christ is and will do in our lives. My brothers and sisters, this is so profound. And we've got to truly understand what Christ is doing before us. And as we look at that and we see right before our eyes the vision that he has given us through his word. And my brothers and sisters, it causes us to literally disable the demonic power of Satan in his demonic ministers of Satan. It causes us to see things from a different perspective. It causes us to understand from a different perspective. And my brothers and sisters, as you become closer and closer to your Lord and Savior, you realize that you are sent by God and you just then go on your own. Amen. Let me leave you with this now. John 20, chapter 21 and 22. John 20, chapter 21 and 22. And we're going to leave with this, my brothers and sisters. Yes, it is. This is going to be awesome right here. Now, before I read that, let me say this to you. This is available to everyone that believes on Jesus. And available to him that is ready to obey. John 21 of John 20. Jesus repeated his greetings, peace to you. And he told them, just as the Father has sent me, I am now sending you. Hallelujah. Then, taking a deep breath, he blew on them and said, receive the Holy Spirit. Now, my brothers and sisters, when we look at that Greek word used here, it does not appear everywhere in the New Testament. However, it is the same word found when God breathed into Adam's nostril. The breath of life in Genesis 2 and 7. The beginning of new creation, life came from the breath of Jesus. The mighty wind of Acts 2 was for power. The breath Jesus breathed into the disciples and the breath was for life. Oh, you've got to catch that. Let me read it to you again. The beginning of new creation, life came from the breath of Jesus. The mighty wind of Acts 2 was for power. The breath Jesus breathed into the disciples and the breath was for life. And this is how they received the Holy Spirit. Nothing was different from when he breathed into Adam. Come on, somebody. Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh. Come on, somebody. When he breathed into Adam. Oh, come on, my God, my God. Uh-oh. Nothing is different. Because why? Jesus is not going on his own. He is sent. So if he is sent, Pastor Barber, he is not doing nothing true. According to Ecclesiastes 3. Nothing is new under the sun. He is repeating the same thing he has been trained to do. You can only duplicate what you imitate. My God. Who are you learning from? Because if you are truly sent by Christ and you are learning by Christ, you are going to duplicate everything that he has learned of you. Everything he taught you, you are going to repeat it. Yes. Oh, my God. This is making me happy. Holy Ghost, have your way. Listen to verse 22. I send you to preach the forgiveness of sin. And people's sin will be forgiven. But if you don't proclaim the forgiveness of their sin, they will remain guilty. Now, let me break this down some for you. When we look at it here, when it says, I send you to preach the forgiveness, we're talking about removal. We're talking about acquittal. Catch this now. Of sin. And people with sin will be forgiven. But if you don't proclaim the forgiveness of their sin, they will remain guilty. Now, this is what I really want to help you with. If you forgive someone for their sin, their sin will be discharged. But if you retain their sin, their sin will be retained. Now, take a look at verse 22. Jesus was not given absolute authority to forgive the guilt of sin. That's not what he was doing. For God alone has that right, according to Mark 2 and 7. And the apostle at no time assumed that authority. What he gave them, in the context of being his sin-lover, was the authority to proclaim the gospel to the nation. That's what he gave them. He gave them, this is what I said earlier, Oh, my God. You don't have to tell no one of what they have done. All you have to do is proclaim the good news of Jesus. They already know what sin they committed. That's not your job to try to change folks of their sin. Your job is to preach the gospel. If you preach the gospel, they'll receive the gospel. But if you don't come tell me of what I'm doing, when I see you in Saturday night, you better get out of my face. All right, preacher. Oh, it's time for you to write. All right. I see how you treat your wife. How are you going to tell me how to treat my wife, preacher? Jesus. Jesus. This is the thing that causes so much stir in the modern church. Don't tell me about my sin. Tell me how I can get out of my sin and refrain from going back to my sin. I don't want to hear your experience. I want to hear the word of God. Jesus. And this is the difference of those that have been sent by Christ and those that have been whipped. There's a big difference of sent and whipped. Those that are sent by Christ, you will know the difference of how to love your brother and your sister. I don't need to know what I've done wrong. I know what I did Friday night. I know I didn't come home. I know I drank it, and then I'm preaching. I know I'm smoking, then I'm preaching. I know all these things. But how can I get out of this, and how can I maintain it? So this is what Jesus was telling them. How to forgive those of their sins. You're not pulling them out of their sins, but you're proclaiming the gospel. Simple as that. Listen to this. He gave them in the context of being his sent one, with the authority to proclaim the gospel to the nation. If they refuse to go and preach the good news, then people have no opportunity to believe it. Amen. This is what he's talking about. So your job is not to go out there and try to change people. Your job is to go out there and minister the word of God, and that's it. Your true sin, keep it to yourself. It will distinguish you. Because if you are sent by Christ, you are speaking for Christ. That means that everything that comes out of your mouth, you will assume that God said it. God is not out there hurting nobody's feelings. God is not out there tearing nobody down. Amen. God is not out there destroying family. He's out there delivering and healing and strengthening. Yes, he does chastise true enough, but that's not where I'm at with this. I'm looking at us as a whole, as a people of who has been sent by Christ, and who has not been sent by Christ. Amen. From the big picture. Is what you're doing representing your Lord and Savior? Do Christ act like you act? Cursing our folks, telling them what they should be doing? No. He's proclaiming the gospel. When Jesus came, he preached on the kingdom of heaven at hand. He preached so much about the kingdom of God, until the disciples were longing when it was going to appear. That's all he preached about. And before that, John preaches on repentance. Saying there's one going to come after me. That I'm not worthy. That's what John preaches on. Repentance and Jesus preaches on the kingdom. Let me finish saying, where was I? My God, my God, my God. Glory. My brothers and sisters. Oh my God. I don't even know. This is available for all of us. And all we have to do is just grab ahold to it. But it starts by you examining yourself. Stop pointing the finger at everyone else. Stop looking at what everyone else is doing, and start looking at what you're doing. Because if it's so easy for you to recognize your brother's mistake, that means it's a mistake to you. That's it. That's why it's so easy. When are we going to start recognizing the good in our brother and our sister? The enemy wants us to look at what our brother and sister is not doing. Instead of looking at what they should be doing. We should be praying to our Lord, give them strength, that they overcome their situation. Lord, give them strength that they turn from their wicked ways. Oh, they're just crazy. They're just going all over. Stop gossiping. And start looking at the God on the inside of your brother and sister. Then maybe the God will get on the inside of you. Teach. My brothers and sisters, it's time. I need you. You need me. I can't do this by myself. I need your help. I need your support. I need your prayers. I need your strength. We're in this thing together. Yes. But in order for us to reign with our Lord and Savior, we've got to change. And we've got to change now. And it starts with loving more, doing more, giving more, being everyone of us. Put our differences aside. Get out of our sins and our emotions. And start walking in obedience to the things of Christ so that we can be set by him. So that when we do say that God set us here, he has really said it. Don't preach the good word of God, then go out and raise hell the next day. Let us get it right, my brothers and sisters. Let us get it right. It's time now for playing church. As we see the day approaching, and my brothers and sisters, there's a time where we've seen sisters killing and murdering and et cetera, et cetera, all upstate, not as we're here in our own home. In our backyard, yes. It's our family now that are dying. Yes. And we still want to play church. Yes. My brothers and sisters, I'm going to leave this with you. And those that were on there last night heard it. Everything you need is on the inside of you. All you've got to do is tap into it with the word of God. Amen. God bless you. Hallelujah. I don't get speechless often. But I thank God for the direction that he took the Bible study on tonight. Welcome, Mr. Joe Norris. Thank you so much for tapping in on tonight. I know you tapped in on the end, but you're always welcome to replay, and we do have a podcast that will be available on our podcast on next Tuesday at 7 p.m. But thank you so much for taking time out to just tap in and just hang out with the walkers on our community Bible study on tonight. This Bible study was just good meat on tonight. Sent ones. Just reminding us and letting us know who we are and what we are. Because if you be honest with yourself on tonight, some of you know you were sent. You didn't just went. You know you were sent. But something someone said or did made you doubt your walk with God. And thank you so much, Don Hill, for posting some of the things that you got out of the Bible study on tonight. Don Hill says, number one, when the Lord gives you an assignment, there will be no confusion. Number two, God is not the author of confusion. And number three, your speech tell an individual what side of the fence you're on. I like that. And then number four, when you're sent by Christ, there's nothing to fear. Amen. Amen. Those are the nuggets that he got from the Bible study on tonight. You still have time to post yours. Even after the Bible study closes, you can still post in the comments what it is that you received, what it is that you grasp in the middle of the Bible study, end of the Bible study, beginning of the Bible study. Whatever you got out of it, please post it. And I will definitely read it and share it with the man of God. His topic tonight was sent one. And then he went to give us confirmation so that we would know that we were sent. And he gave it to you based on the Scripture. He didn't give it to you based on Roger Walker. He gave it to you based on the Scripture. Romans 8 and 28, he foreknew you. 1 John 3 and 2, you'll be like him. 1 John 4 and 17, as he is, so are we. He went to the Word on you. He didn't try to get it out of his back pocket. He went to the Word so you would know and confirm that you were sent. And then 1 John 4 and 17, again, as he is, so are we. We're like our Father, our Heavenly Father. Yeah, we want to be like our Earthly Father. No, I don't want to be like Mike. But I want to be like my Heavenly Father. Luke 10 and 16, this got me. And I hope you got the same Bible I got. A lot of times we try to get away with when we write God, we put little g-o-d. But if you're referring to him, our Big Daddy, you should capitalize his name. In this scripture, Luke 10 and 16, I was still stuck trying to let that absorb because I've read this scripture over and over again. But tonight, God just nudged a little so that I could see it in its fullness on tonight. And I hope you got it while he was reading it. Luke 10 and 16, he who hears you hears me. And me is capitalized. When we go before people, we're trying to share a word, and we're giving them what God said, what the big g-o-d says. He says, he who hears you hears me, and it's capitalized. And then he says, he who rejects you rejects me, capital M-E. So you've already done what he told you to do. You dropped that word. You gave him what God told you to give him. If they reject that word, you're rejecting him. Don't take it personal. Don't walk around with your feelings on your sleeves. Oh, they didn't receive me, and they don't want to hear me preach. They don't want to hear me teach. No, no, no, no. Back that thing up. Back that up. He says, he who rejects you, my messenger, my Christ-like, my child, he who rejects you rejects me. How about that? He rejects him that sent me. Not only are you rejecting Christ, you're rejecting his father. See, that thing is bigger than we think it is. You've been reading it in different contexts. Maybe you did like me. But if you realize that you walk in the authority of God, and he told you to tell thus and so what said the Lord, when they shut you down, they've already shut him down. You just begin to pray because he chases those whom he loves. I sent you a warning. Warning comes before destruction. I warned you through the man of God. I told you what I needed you to know and do, and you rejected it. So war unto you. It ain't my fault because you didn't get it. John 20, as the Father has sent me, here I also send you. John 20 and 22, he breathed on them. After he spoke that word, have you ever seen the apostles, those that are walking in the five-fold gifts? When they begin to speak a word into your life, they begin to breathe on you. That's scripture. They ain't made up. That's not something they're faking and shaking. They're walking according to the word. After he spoke into their life, my gosh, he breathed on them, y'all. Oh, don't be trying to criticize and talk like they did this and she spit in your face. Listen, that's anointing. You got to try to accept that anointing. He breathed on them, and after he breathed on them, they received the Holy Spirit. So where are you when God begins to speak to you? Where are you in your walk with God? You sent ones. God sent you to do a thing. Where are you when he tries to fill your cup back up? Where are you when the apostle of the five-fold ministry gifts call you back up to pour back into you, to speak a word into your life because you're the sent one, you're the ordained one, you're the anointed one? The man of God told us, don't think it's strange when you walk into places and they start to watch you. Don't get a complex. Just tell God, thank you, because it's the anointing. It's not your dress. It's not your cologne. It's not your perfume. It's not your style. It's not your haircut. It's not your hair dress. It's not your swag or your swagger. It's the anointing of God that's flowing along with you when you're the sent one. Come on, somebody. He hooked us up on tonight. He hooked us up on tonight. And he said, when you get ready to minister to people, this was a teachable moment. I hope you got that. When you get ready to minister to one another, you know, it's not a problem sharing your testimony. It's not. And God will release you when to share your testimony because sometimes you only have a few seconds, only have a few minutes to be able to share them, get what God said and then move on. And then they'll find you to figure out what it is and why and who you serve. He says, tell them about Jesus. I can tell them about Barbara later, but I'm going to tell you what God said to the Lord. Then if you seek me out, then that's an opportunity to share. I said that to you because of this. This is my testimony. This is what God did for me. But this is what he told me to tell you. So tell them about Jesus. And then he says, look at you and not them. It's so easy to judge. Scripture says, judge not lest ye be judged. It's so easy, so quick. Now, you know what? She shouldn't have wore that. She shouldn't have had her hair like that. She shouldn't have did that. We're already judging. Look at yourself first. Ask yourself, why did I think like that? Why did I think it was the wrong lipstick, the wrong hat, the wrong dress, the wrong shoes? Why did I think that? Why did my mind go there about them? Look at yourself and say to yourself, maybe it's something that I really like and maybe I just said something negative because I didn't have anything good to say. Shut your mouth if you don't have anything good to say. Keep it to yourself. Oh, I went there, didn't I? I went there. Sent one on tonight. What a word. If you missed it, go back from the beginning and get every bit of meat God dropped in this Bible study tonight. John 17 and 21, he took us there. He said the world. He went talking to us about the world. Go back and read John 20. John 17 and 21. John 6 and 38. He started giving us nuggets at the end of the Bible study. Go back and look at this video. Go back and look at it. And just allow God to minister to you. That when he sends you, the sent one, when he sends you and you give him a word and they reject you, they're not rejecting Tina. They're not rejecting Andrea. They're not rejecting Freddie. They're rejecting Christ. So don't take it personal. Do what he called you to do. Shake the dust off your feet and move on. It wasn't personal. They may have received more than you thought they received. They just ignored you, but they got the word back. That was for you. That's it. Okay. That's it. I'm going to say it again, though. They may have rejected you, this body, but they received that word. And after a while, change is going to take place and they're going to come back to you and tell you, I know you thought that I didn't hear you, but I heard what you said. My God. Oh, my God. Listen. Did I hear you say Joe North was on there? Joe North. Listen, y'all. Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard. Amen. I'm overwhelmed. Amen. We told y'all we were hanging around big time people. Y'all didn't want to believe us. We're talking about the Senator of Dunbar. Amen. Senator Joe North. The current law firm of Dunbar and Fort Mile. I'm talking about a power couple with his queen, with Bonita North and their son. I'm telling you, making a big difference in the Dunbar and the southwest Florida area. One of the biggest law firms that's down in the southwest Florida area. I'm telling y'all. Senator North, we thank you so much for tapping in with us. Man of God, we appreciate y'all. We met this power couple through our brother Lee Pitts. Lee Pitts live after work down in Fort Mile. I'm telling y'all, we're hanging around with the big time people. There's some folk that know Jesus. There's some folk that know Jesus. Amen. Amen. I'm telling y'all. Y'all better come around with us down there. Thank you so much. Senator, thank you so much. We appreciate that. Andrea said, when you're sent by God, nothing will come before him. Number two, when sent by God, there's nothing to fear. Number three, when sent by God, you don't find fault or to a point, or point out their sin. Tina said, number one, don't be afraid. Then number two, what is language? What is language? Amen. Amen. It matters how we approach people. We like to do outreach. How we speak to people. How we speak to people. How we speak to people. We like to do outreach. We like to minister to people. We like to share the word of God. You better make sure that your testimony will not come back null and void. Because once you release that word, they're watching your life. Yes. They're watching everything you do in the grocery store, in the bank, in the light bill place, in the cable office, when you're backing out, when you're on the highway. While they're riding in the car with you, they're watching everything you say and do because you said that you were the sent one. Yes, we are flesh. Yes, flesh is supposed to die daily. Yes, we're supposed to be just like Christ. Yes, we are. But when you release that word to them and begin to provoke change in their life, don't get upset if they reject you. Don't get upset if they stop hanging around with you, if they stop calling you, if they stop sharing with you. Don't get upset because you said a word that will release and help to deliver that thing that's on the inside of them. And it knows that you're the sent one, so I'm not going to hang around you because I'm not getting delivered. I'm going to have to find me another hiding place. Amen, somebody. I'm telling you this word. You've got to like and share this video. This is a must. Go back to our podcast, and I'll make sure I put it in the link. Go back to our podcast and just review some of the previous Bible studies if you've missed them. And then go back and like and share. And send it to someone that you already know. I guarantee you two or three people popped in your mind that needed to hear this word on tonight. Share it with them. Do them a favor. They may not hear from you, but they may hear from someone else with your sent one self. Amen. Amen. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that tapped in on tonight. Cesar, I'm so glad you were able to tap in on tonight and hang out with us for a little while. Thank you to our regulars that have been very, very supportive. Hanging in there with us, letting us know when you're not able to come on. Thank you for liking and sharing the video. Thank you for hanging out with the Walkers on Monday nights at 8 p.m. We had so much fun. I'm excited. I'm ready for next Monday night and ready for next Tuesday night. Just know that we love you, and truly, there's nothing you can do about it. God bless you, and we thank you, guys. Amen, amen. Amen. That's it. All right. Have a great night. Stay blessed. I hope you can rest after that meat was released on tonight. Stay blessed. Don't forget. Oh, and she said, walk in the thorns. In number three, Tina said, walk in the thorns. And don't forget now, tomorrow is hump day. Look out for that camera. And now that this word has been released into your life, look for arguments. Look for slow traffic. Look for crazy people. Look for sarcasm. Look for all of that, because God has just opened up your eyes into another level. Amen. And understanding of his word on tonight. Amen. So understand that. He is real. Peace. Peace, y'all. God bless you. Have a great night. Love you.
