Registration is open for Solid Ground Horse Camps for kids, featuring horse riding lessons, games, crafts, and roping skills. Auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella are on April 29th and 30th. Klamath Chorale's Stage to Screen event is on May 5th. Dead Man's Cell Phone play runs from May 3rd to 18th. Time now for the Gold Country Community Calendar, and here's what's happening in the basin. Registration is open for Solid Ground Horse Camps for children pre-K through fifth grade. Camps feature daily horse riding lessons, fun games, creative crafts, and an introduction to roping skills. Early registration is recommended to ensure that secure spot. At the Raglan Theater, Monday, April 29th and Tuesday, April 30th are auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, the Broadway version. No previous acting experience is required. Auditions start at 6 p.m. each night. Also at the Raglan, Sunday, May 5th, is the Klamath Chorale Stage to Screen event. This is their annual spring concert featuring popular songs that got their start on Broadway before making their way to the silver screen. Shows start at 2 p.m. on Sunday and run until 4. More information about auditions for Cinderella and the Klamath Chorale can be found at raglan.org. Starting May 3rd and continuing to May 18th is the community play, Dead Man's Cell Phone. The play will be performed every Friday and Saturday night at 7.30. There will be a one-time matinee appearance on May 12th at 2 p.m. More information at linkvilleplayers.org. Saturday, May 4th, is Music in the Garden from 4 to 10 at the Cornet Field on OIT campus. Cornhole is included, snow cones, a bounce house, and live music as well, as food and beverages will be offered. More info can be obtained by emailing getinvolvedatoit.edu.
