M2d2radio interviewed the guys for the Grand Opening of the My Haunted Manor USA on the air Live. March 22nd 2024.
The transcription is a conversation between the host and the individuals involved in the My Haunted Manor USA project. They discuss the background of the project, their experiences with paranormal activity, and the upcoming grand opening of the haunted manor. They mention the availability of tickets for the event and the increased activity at the manor since they took over. They also talk about the possibility of using Fitbits to track physical reactions during investigations. They mention the history of the location as a toy factory and share some of their experiences and evidence captured at the manor. They end by discussing their favorite part of what they do and the excitement of meeting and teaching others interested in the paranormal. Here we go. Can you hear me now? Yeah, yeah, I can hear you. Alright. I couldn't hear myself either. I was like, where am I? Where am I? Alright. It's just a little past one o'clock, guys. And as promised, we have the guys with us that are on the My Haunted Manor USA. It's the grand opening that's going to be happening tonight. And we are so looking forward to being on the air with these guys. So we're going to bring up their microphones here and say good afternoon, guys. How you doing? Hey, how you doing? Good. So who we have with us today, Jeff, Trey, and Daryl, correct? Correct. Alright. Alright. So you excited for tonight? Absolutely. It's been a lot in the making, but we're ready to roll. Alright. Sounds good. Now, you had some issues this morning, so that's why you're actually on the phone line. These guys were going to be in the studio with us, but they had some issues with vehicles, so this was the best way for us to do it. We appreciate them still taking time, because I know you guys are so busy today with everything you've got going on. So give everybody just a little bit of a background, each one of you, about how you all got started in this whole paranormal thing, and how you actually got into working with the guys from the UK. Yeah, I mean, I'll start that off. I mean, I've been doing this for almost 20 years now. Yeah, I started out, I got it by complete accident. I wasn't, you know, I was not into the paranormal. I had an occasion or an instance where I actually witnessed a half-body apparition at a place called Fort Delaware. Just, you know, like an overnight, two-hour kind of like investigation thing that I went to, and that kind of led me on the path where I'm at right now. Long story short, that led me to podcasting, to the TV show Ghost Hunters, where I was on. And the whole thing with My Hornet Manor came up when I was over in the UK back in last summer, back in September, actually. I was over there. I had a big paracon. I was doing like an appearance. I was over there for eight days, and I met those guys. I actually did a show with them for a day or so, and came back to the States. And then, you know, we started talking about bringing the same concept from My Hornet Hotel, which is over there, to over here, which led to My Hornet HQ and My Hornet Manor, which are the three main shows. So, and then fast forward, and here we are now. You know, we got, you know, we're at the Samuel Miller, which is a place that's near and dear to my heart. I've actually done two appearances there before we actually started filming there. And so, you know, that's the place we locked onto, you know, with Jeff and Trey. And, you know, here we are now. You know, fast forward from September to March 22nd right now, and we're at our grand opening. We've been filming there for almost three months, you know, behind the scenes, and getting the place up and ready for the people to come to visit and to stay the night. So, yeah, it's pretty exciting for us. Yeah, it sounds like it's going to be a fantastic time for folks to come out and see it. Now, I saw on Facebook that you guys were saying that you have still, like, some availability for tonight that people can still get tickets. Is that correct? Yeah, we always put a few tickets. I mean, we're almost sold out, but we put a few tickets aside at the door always. We do that all the time for our events. Just for the last-minute person, because there's a lot of them, you know, you don't have anything to do on a Friday or Saturday night, and, you know, hey, the guys are down at the Manor. Let's go check them out. So, yeah, there's a few tickets at the door. If you're interested, come on out, guys. It's going to be an amazing time. We're having a ribbon-cutting at 5 o'clock at the Manor. Everyone from the town's going to be there, and the door's open at 6, and the show starts at 7, and you'll get to investigate the location and have a great time and possibly be on the show if anything happens. Right, right. So, now, I mean, I've been kind of keeping track of everything that's been going on with you guys down there as you were getting ready for this grand opening, and I've seen that you had spoken the other day on a podcast about how the activity has really, really progressed since you guys took this over and decided to open up the Haunted Manor. Yeah, it seems like, I mean, we've been there, you know, probably about six times so far filming. The first, you know, three or four times was active. It was, you know, pretty good. But the last two times, I don't know whether it was from, you know, renovating and cleaning the place up, moving stuff around. The last two times has been super, super active. Yeah. And, you know, doing that kind of stuff, renovating places, can kind of stir up activity sometimes. So, hopefully, we'll keep that going. And tonight, it'll be pretty active as well. Yeah, because I think once people start showing up in there, it's going to probably go crazy. Don't you think, JJ? Well, I think it would stir up a lot of activity. Yeah. They're just random people coming into the area, you know. Right. And I think that, and you guys were even discussing, which is something that I never even thought of, there's a lot of people today who wear Fitbits. And you said that people who wear Fitbits who come to these places, lots of times things happen that, you know, their blood pressure spikes up and their heart rate spikes up. Have you seen that, guys? Have you guys wore them and seen that actually happen yourself? I've had them worse. And, yeah, I haven't, but it's, you know, it's something that we can track and can, you know, back up a personal claim where, you know, otherwise it's just, you know, a story. Right, right. Yeah. I personally had it happen by accident. I mean, I haven't wore a Fitbit in years, but I was investigating. This was, like, back in 2014 or 15 when Fitbits were really big. And I used to wear one all the time, you know. And I was at a location where a bunch of stuff was happening. And I actually witnessed my heart rate go up and some other things on the Fitbit. So, at that point in time, you know, I actually thought about that and I kind of, you know, forgot about it over time until it was brought up again on the podcast the other night. But, yeah, it's definitely something we could, it would be really cool even to put, like, a heart monitor on somebody during an investigation and just track them and see how they react to certain things in, you know, during an investigation. Yeah, yeah. It's all about backing up personal experiences with, like, hard scientific data. You know, it just shows that, you know, it is happening to them based off of that. Right, right. Now, I know that the other, one of the videos that I watched in one of your episodes the other evening where there was, you sit around, like, some toys, which, back in the day, that actually was a toy factory years and years ago. And, believe it or not, but my Aunt Maude used to work in that toy factory years ago. She helped to make the toys. So, yeah, and when you guys brought that up, I'm like, wow, I completely forgot about that. That's awesome. They made a bunch of toys. Right. That's what we love so much about Columbia. It's such a tight-knit community, and it kind of just branches out to everybody, and everybody has stories that come out of that building. Right, right. And I did see the other night, which kind of freaked me out, when those ladies that were there with you guys investigating, and I'm sorry, I can't remember where they were from, but they had said they were in the room, and they asked a question. And you literally heard, in, like, a breathing, that was wild to me. That was an amazing capture. I think it was wild that, like, they captured it, but then also on these live cameras that they do have in the manor actually caught that, too. So, like, that's just an example of, like, they are catching these real things, you know. Right. Yeah, because we're capturing them on multiple devices at one time. So you'll have a camera, like we have the static cams that are in most of the rooms right now, and so you'll get it maybe on your handheld device, maybe on a device in the room where it actually came up. Then you'll get it from, like, another static cam somewhere else in the building where it picked it up. So we're getting it on multiple types of devices, you know, cameras, audio recorders, you name it. We're getting these EVPs or these audible voices, which is a really cool thing. EVP is great, don't get me wrong. Right. But when you hear an audible voice and you know you're the only ones in the room and there's no one else in the building, that kind of raises the hair on the back of your neck. I mean, it really does. It would be, I know that. It would scare the crap out of me. We've gone through enough footage to kind of learn the sounds of the manor. It's kind of like a baseline of what a car sounds like going by, you know, just the creaks and bumps in the house. But that was something we've never heard. Right, right. It was so clear on the cams. I do have a question from one of our listeners real quick. This is actually from Santa's Wolfpack here in Columbia, Pennsylvania. They want to know, what is your favorite part of what you guys do? What is your favorite part? My favorite part is just meeting the people who love to watch the shows, who follow us and come out and meet us at these type of things that we're doing. I've done hundreds of these through different locations over the years. And just meeting the people who are so excited to be a part of it and to come out to investigate and helping to teach them different ways of doing things. And the thing is, I've been doing this for 20 years, and there's no experts in this field. So I still learn from people. I can learn from people who've only been doing it for six months. It's one of those fields where it's a pseudoscience, so it's kind of up in the air. Everyone's kind of doing their own thing, but it's learning from other people, getting to meet the people who do it and love it and love the shows and who are fans of what we do. Yeah. And it's, like I said, it's just watching the videos, the episodes so far that you guys have put together. They have been really, really good. I mean, like I said, I've lived in Columbia all my life. In fact, in my house, I lived on Walnut Street, which is the street behind, when I was growing up, of Locust Street, where the Samuel Miller Mansion is. And, you know, I remember going past there many, many, many years, and it was, you know, thinking to myself, wow, that's creepy inside. And a couple of years ago, I did go through there. They had a Halloween tour, and I did go through there. I didn't get to see much of anything. It was kind of like actors there doing some certain things, but it was, you know, none of the paranormal stuff that I would have liked to have seen. But, yeah, this is going to be a great opportunity. And for people in Columbia that love to go out and check out this kind of stuff, you guys are really going to bring in some really great business, I believe, and a lot of people are going to be happy to come out and join you guys tonight. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Sorry. I was going to tell you, like, anyone can come out. You don't have to be an expert. You don't have to be a believer. You can be a skeptic. You know, brand new to the whole concept of paranormal investigation. Anyone can come out and have a great time. Yeah. It's an amazing location. And then we have another question from one of the listeners. They said, is it dangerous to experience paranormal activity? No. I mean, in my opinion. I mean, don't get me wrong. There are places that I would suggest not going to. I wrote a whole book about it called The Horrors of the House of Wills, a place I investigated in Cleveland back in 2014 and 15 that played havoc on my life for a bit. Something actually followed me home. But those places are few and far between. If you're interested, go check the book out. It's on Barnes and Noble, Amazon. It just came out back last September, and it kind of gives you a rundown of places that are like that, where you just want to stay away from if you feel like possible. But, like, this place, this place is a, I feel nothing negative in this building. I'm not a psychic or anything. It's just, it's a good haunt. It's got a lot of rich history with the Underground Railroad, the Civil War, everything that's happened, all the different hats that building has worn over the years with, you know, toy factory, a mill, you name it. And there's such a rich history there that we're, the cool part is we have some historians who are working with us, some really good historians, and who are uncovering new things that are not even known about that building that will be in upcoming episodes. I mean, we're finding out daily stuff that, maybe people who actually passed away. Oh, wow. Things about the Underground Railroad that people didn't know that happened in that building. And this is all historically documented. And we're uncovering this stuff. Our historians are f***ing amazing. Yeah. The stuff they're finding is just insane. So, we're super excited about upcoming episodes. Cool. Now, you had mentioned one time, Daryl, and this was when you were on Ghost Hunters, that, and it kind of freaked me out because I saw this on the podcast that you guys were on the other night, where you were actually thrown across the room. Can you tell us a little bit about that? Oh, yeah. That was at Anderson Hotel in Kentucky back in 2015. I was actually investigating this location. It was a hotel, very seedy location. It had been closed down for almost 30 years, and they opened the doors. They were investigating. And I was in this room. Things were pretty dead all night, to be honest with you. And there were some people who were doing a spirit box session, and things started to get really weird. And at one point, I don't know what it was. I can't explain it to this day, but it felt like a burst of energy. I saw something, and it blew me across the room about five or six feet, where I actually, when I landed, I landed on a chair and broke the chair. I was laying on my back staring at the ceiling. I just remember something running at me, loud footsteps, a burst of energy, and boom, there I am. And I actually went back there about two months later to try to figure out what happened and try to recreate it and could not do it. Right. Man, that's insane. Wow. And, Jeff, you just recently had something happen at the Manor. Just what? I think it was in the last episode, I believe, where you were on, I don't know if it was the second floor or the third floor, I can't remember, and you were touched twice? It wasn't me. It was someone, Kyle, who's on the Diamond State Ghost Investigators team. Oh, okay. Yeah, I want to. It's my goal. I'm doing this to get touched, guys. Right. Right. Yeah, I mean, any interaction. You know, I had experiences when I was a kid, and I'm kind of chasing that dragon now. Right. You know, I've been going to crazy places, and this is the best opportunity, you know. You go in to investigate a spot, and then you're there for a couple of hours, you've got to pack up and leave. Yeah. You know, being there all the time and 24-7 cameras is a dream. So, yeah, but it was in a spot called the Magic Window Room. There's a room that has a window to another room. It's very odd. And he was in there and felt something on his arm, and he whispered to it, you know, just under his breath, can you do that again? And it grabbed his whole arm, and it just validated it, you know. And that never happens, you know. Sometimes you get, you know, I was touched on my back at Pennhurst Asylum, and you're just constantly, you know, looking for the nail in the wall. You know, trying to debunk it, but to have it done twice like that is unheard of. Yeah, definitely. Definitely one of the higher activity rooms. I did an hour-long solo session up in that room this past summer filming, which will be in the next episode. So you'll have to see what I got up there. Yeah. Yeah. Scary stuff. I mean, I know when the guys from the U.K. were here in the studio when they were here in Columbia, we got them in here that Monday that they were actually leaving. They were getting ready to leave that afternoon. And they came in and did our live interview about, you know, everything that was going on there. And they also told me when they were here that sometimes, I mean, we don't realize as people who watch the videos and watch the shows, we don't realize there's a lot of times where you guys will just sit for hours and wait for something to happen. Oh, yeah. I mean, the stuff that never makes it into these episodes, whether it be our show or probably any other show, is insane. Like you can make from the cutting room floor of what we lose on My Horned Manor, you can make probably 10 episodes from it. Wow. I mean, when I worked on Ghost Hunters, we would film for a week straight at one location. Anywhere from five days to 14 days we would be at one location. And literally you're seeing a 43-minute show of us there for two weeks. Wow. With camera guys filming us 12 hours a day, each of us. That camera never leaves their side. Right. So just imagine what you're not seeing. A lot of great evidence that never makes it onto shows, unfortunately. And people can actually subscribe and watch the cameras 24 hours a day if they want to, correct? Because the cameras are on all the time during the night, even when you guys aren't even there. Our cameras are, yes. But we don't have the live part of it yet. You're thinking of My Horned Hotel over in the U.K. They do the live. We right now are just running static cameras for the show. We will be going live here in the future where people can watch it. You can watch it also on VHX, which is basically behind the scenes of stuff. We're doing funny things, things of that nature that are also a whole separate show. Yeah, tons of content. Once we do have live cameras, it will be on there. And that site is myhornedhq.vhx.tv. So if you want to check that out and subscribe, you can see all our bonus content. And you can check in on the live cameras at the hotel in the U.K. Right. Cool. Yeah, that would be great. I mean, I know that a lot of our listeners, we actually have another question that had come in. You want to read that for me, Jordan? Why do people do discoveries on paranormal activity for a living? I think they were asking you, like, why do people like you discover wanting to do paranormal activity for a living? Because a lot of you guys, this is your work. This is your job. Right. Well, I mean, you know, Darryl kind of said when he began, he's been doing this for many, many years, but you other two guys, now you guys are brothers, so was this something that you kind of, like, talked about when you were younger and said, hey, we want to get into that? Yeah, I mean, we definitely grew up, you know, loving the paranormal stuff. Our mom, you know, really, you know, has a sense for that and something we just kind of always had around. And, you know, since I had my experience, I just wanted to prove it to myself and, you know, get some proof on video. So, you know, got really into video. That's what, you know, what I'm bringing. I'm filming everything, editing everything, you know, in the hopes that we capture, you know, proof on multiple cameras and have people come and experience that for themselves. Yeah. Yeah, we want to give a big shout out to Jeff for the hours he puts into being coached on this show. For people who don't know what coach is, it's everything you take from the actual, on the scene, and you send it there, and he just pulls that apart and he builds these amazing episodes with all that hard work. That, for me, it's incredible because I'm not able to do that. I don't have that kind of talent where I can build an episode. I can go out and film it, have a great time, and do a song and dance, but I tell you, people like Jeff who can wear two hats and be on the show and plus edit the show and be basically the DP for a show, the director of photography, because he tells us where to stand, when to stand, and what to do. I got what I posed. Thanks, man. I appreciate that. It is a lot of work, but it's a passion. This is my second full-time job, and I have a one-year-old. It's been a while. He's got a three-full-time job here. You're working three full-time jobs, actually. I don't know what day it is. You guys live in the Delaware area, and that's correct, and you come up this way for the weekends, for the grand opening on stuff like tonight. You guys live in that area, and then you come up here, right? Correct. We all live in Delaware. Okay, cool. That's cool. I've seen that Danny does some of the voice work for your videos, too. How does he do that? You send him the clips, and he's like, okay, let me throw my voice behind some of this. Is that how that works? Yeah. I'll send him the episodes and VHX content, basically 99 percent done, and he'll add the My Haunted stamp on it, and his voice kind of carries it through. The My Haunted project is the overall umbrella. It has the My Haunted Hotel, which is on their fourth season. My Haunted Manor USA is kind of the sister show to My Haunted Hotel. They're looking at other locations, and this project is expanding like crazy. Manor had popped up so fast. Yeah. It'll expand even more then. There'll be more places over here, too. Sorry. Oh, okay. Yeah, that's what I was going to ask you. I was going to ask, did they plan on expanding out to other locations here in the states? Yeah, that's kind of left up to us over here in the states on the direction we want to go with that. Right now, all our eggs are in My Haunted Manor, of course, and getting it 100 percent, make sure it's running good. We have some great people behind the scenes with IPR, Tony's team. These guys are just freaking amazing. They're behind the scenes. Sometimes you'll see Tony on our shows. He runs camera for us sometimes. Those guys kill it, and we can't do it without them. It's a community type thing. They come in. They're running things behind the scenes. But we'll be branching out here. I mean, I've already had other places hit me up and asked to bring My Haunted Manor there, like My Haunted Theater, My Haunted Bed and Breakfast, My Haunted Laundromat. You name it. People want to come out. Right. So it's quite interesting to see how big this thing is getting and people over here. Nothing like this has ever been done. Right. It's basically a one-stop shop. You're filming a show at a location where people get to come out and actually be part of the show. Usually when you go out to a location from a TV show that's been there, they were there a year before that. And you see the episode, and all of a sudden that place blows up, and everyone wants to go there and book it and stay because they saw it on a TV show. Well, you get to come out and be a part of an actual running TV show live that runs 24-7, and it just doesn't stop. Those cameras run all day and night long. Wow. We have access to watch them from our homes. So we can go on there and watch everything that's going on. We're there or somebody is there every day. And we'll get alerts, you know, human detected, or we'll be able to pop in and see it any time of day, which is nice. And then I can pull that clip, if it's something, and we can take a closer look at it. You know, each episode is going to start with us reviewing evidence that happened that week. Right. I'm sorry, go ahead. Sorry, I'm sorry. Yeah, I said the first few episodes, four or five episodes, are basically us building the history, the story behind Sam and Miller Mansion and, you know, getting it out there. And then you're going to see it starting to change a little bit where, you know, you'll see more of the people who are coming to visit the location with us in the episodes as well. Right, right. And I know that you had said in one of the, I think it was in the podcast that you did with those ladies the other night, you had said about there are times where the energy sometimes really drains the batteries on all your devices that you use batteries for. Yeah, we're finding that out a lot there. I mean, it doesn't always happen at every location. I've heard people say that, and I'm like, whatever, I hear that everywhere I go. And it's actually been happening. Like, our batteries have been draining like crazy. Like, it's not just one at a time. You're talking two or three cameras go down, audio recorders that have brand new batteries in them or just charged. It's pretty wild to watch. It's always cool because when that happens, usually the activity starts kicking off. And things start happening. Charging them up, basically. Right. Giving them energy. Yeah, you can feel the energy shift. You can. Very much. Yeah. And you had also said that there's one floor, and correct me if I'm wrong, I think you said maybe the third floor. Oh, yeah. I don't know. The rooms were, you had said there was somebody there with you just last week or the week before who the room looked like it was spinning. It felt like it was spinning around, and they got so dizzy they had to sit down. Yeah, that was Tony. Okay. He's the head of IPR, which is the team that actually works behind the scenes doing all the stuff. He does camera work for us. So, like I said, you'll see him in some of the episodes. He was filming with us last weekend, last Friday. And, yeah, things got crazy. We all got dizzy up there, Trey, myself, and Tony. And Tony actually had to, like, take a seat on the floor. And it wasn't just, like, sometimes you could chalk it off as a personal experience. Maybe you just didn't feel good. All three of us felt it at the same time. And I'm not one who picks up on that type of stuff. Yeah, me neither. I'm not a psychic or a medium or any of that. Yeah, you could feel the room spinning. Wow. So it was pretty weird. Yeah, that would thicken you out. That was the first time I've ever felt anything like that. Like, I've felt, like, cold drafts, you know what I mean? That came out of nowhere. Cold spots, but never felt the energy completely shift, like, around me. Where you could physically feel it. Yeah, you could feel it get colder. And one, like, specific location, like, within, like, a four or five-foot diameter, it got really cold where the rest of the room was. And last weekend was a nice weekend. So it wasn't cold in the building. It was actually pretty warm. We were running around most of the night with T-shirts on. And it just, you could feel it, man. And it was just, like, it was pretty intense for about a half hour there. Wow. And you're getting sometimes the fact that you think that there's, like, little children in this building that you're seeing and hearing things from. Is that correct? There definitely is. Yeah, there's definitely child energy in the building. Can't put a name to them or anything, but there's some evidence that's coming out here on some upcoming episodes. We just had the one episode, the last episode, where there's what looks like in the photo a child spirit. It's about two-and-a-half, three-foot tall, maybe a little bit taller, coming out of the children's room, which it's named. It's been named that for years, way before we got there. And some of the things I've heard in that building sound like children running around. Wow. Like, you know, running up and down the stairs. And it's things that they would do, like, play games with you. Like, we actually, and this will be an upcoming episode, I'm going to give a little bit of, I'm not going to say too much, but we actually played Marco Polo with something last Friday night in that building. Wow. Mm-hmm. We heard horrible polo, and then we heard it coming off the speaker from the caracass. Yeah, and we had different equipment going off in different rooms in the building on different floors. So we would leave one floor and we would yell, Marco, really loud, and all of a sudden the equipment in the upstairs would go off. We'd go up there, and it was like something came downstairs and started setting the equipment off down there. So everywhere we were, it wasn't. Right, they were playing that game. They were moving back and forth. Yeah, playing games with me. Yeah. That is so cool. That is so cool. Now, I do have a question, because I know these guys have a, per se, mascot, you know, at the mansion there, which is Spooky Cat. Now, is it hard to, like, figure out, like, hey, that was the cat, that wasn't this, or are these guys, like, used to that? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we keep Spooky locked out of the main part of the building most of the time. Sometimes she'll sneak in there, but we can see her on the camera. So we'll go get her out of there because, you know, she's not ready for filming yet, so we'll just take her back to the green room. Right. She has a mind of her own. Yeah. The UK guys were investigating. They did get loose. Oh, wow. Yeah, she's spooked us. Yeah. She got us good. She's an awesome cat, too. I'm not a cat guy, but I do love that cat for some reason, and she's cool. I think what we're going to do, we're just going to have to start her own Facebook page. Yeah, yeah. On social media, like, on different posts, like, hey, you need to start a Facebook page for Spooky. So, yeah, guys, whoever's listening, we're going to do a Spooky Facebook page here coming up real soon. That'd be cool. Make her famous, guys. Right. Make her famous. Yeah. So, again, let everybody know, like, what is going to be, like, the cost for the different types of things that you have coming up, you know, even for the future. Like, tonight, now, you're not having, like, an overnight stay for folks because of the grand opening, but what are going to be, like, the fees and, again, how people can go ahead and book an investigation? Yeah, so we have these events. So this is our grand opening event, but we'll have one of these a month, and there's two different types of tickets. So there's the standard ticket that's going for $55, and you get to investigate, hang out with us until about 11 o'clock, and then we also have VIP tickets, which are $125, and you get to be there until about 4 in the morning for this event tonight. But going forward, you'll be able to spend the night once we have pods and stuff set up. For regular bookings, that's about 10 people max per night, and that's $95 a person. And that will start April 20th, and we have dates all the way to the end of June. And you can get all these at myholdingsmanor.com. Okay, cool. So people can go there and check that out to see. And, again, there are some spaces available tonight. So if you're thinking about, after hearing this interview with the guys, that you can go out and check it out, it is the grand opening tonight, which you said there's a ribbon-cutting ceremony at, like, what, 5 o'clock tonight? Yes, 5 o'clock. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening. We'll be there. We're probably about 45 minutes out now. We'll be there. Doors open for the – if you want to come down for ribbon-cutting, you're more than welcome to. You can get in the building early. If you don't have tickets, you want to come down and get tickets, we have a few tickets. Like I said, we always put some aside and come down and join us for the night. And we're very limited on VIP. We keep VIP around 15 tickets. That way it keeps it more intimate for the VIP people. But with just the regular standard ticket where you can come in, meet, greet, Q&A, and hang out and do an investigation until around 11 o'clock, those tickets are $55 for our big events we do once a month. All that's on the website. You can go check it out if you want to do the big event or you just want to book for the night, which I suggest booking for the night too because you get the place to yourself. You get to hang out all night and spend the night there. Like I said, like Charlie was saying, April 20th, that opens up to the public. Start booking now and make it a little getaway for you and your significant other or your friends or whatever. I can see this really, really being a crazy time for you guys, especially around Halloween. Oh, yeah, we have some good plans for that. We've got something big for Halloween coming up. Oh, that's great. It's going to be a great date night. Yeah, definitely. Get a bunch of people together. I mean maybe I can maybe even try and get a bunch of our listeners to try and get together a pack of people because we've got so many listeners. Absolutely. And bring everybody out and just have like a listener paranormal party or something, you know, in the manor. It would be cool. Yeah, we're open for parties too. Like we're doing where if you want to book a party there, you have 20 people or 50 people and you are in a corporate type of paranormal thing. I've done plenty of corporate events where people like companies want to do paranormal and they'll book me to do a thing for them. We're doing that here as well where if you want to come out and do like a corporate type event and spend the night and have a great time with the people you work with or your family, please do. You can contact us at myhauntedmanoratgmail.com, anything like that. Just send us an email and we'll look at it and we'll get back to you and figure that out. We'll figure it out. That'd be great. If you're in Lancaster County and you have a spot you want us to come check out, we'll definitely be open to that too. We've hit a couple places in Columbia and that's a big part of what our goal is here is to boost the local community. People coming here that are traveling here, it's not just the manor. There's so much more to see here. It's not just about Samuel Miller or the Haunted Manor. It's about the community of Columbia and the surrounding communities and bringing converse and bringing stuff to that area and building it up and building us all up as one. I always had a saying where it's not all about you. You always want to build up people around you, the people who are also going to build you up, and that's what it's all about, the community, getting them out there and getting them a part of this. Right, right. Now, you guys were nice enough to get a shirt for us to give away for the interview. So we're going to actually put out a question there. Now, this is going to be maybe a little hard for people who did not get to see the podcast that you guys were on the other day. And these ladies are going to be there tonight. Is that correct? Yeah. Yeah. Cool friends. Yeah, yeah. So they had actually asked you guys each a question. I mean, you had no idea they were even going to do this. I laughed when they said what they were going to do. I'm like, okay, they're going to put them on the spot there. So I remember what they are, what you said. And the question that they asked, and this is for our listeners out there that are listening right now. So the very first person that can get me the correct answer, and they have to send it to my 717 to our regular hotline, is 717-902-9881. The question that we want to know is the guys that were when they were on the podcast the other night, they were asked what are their favorite horror movies or horror characters. So Jeff gave his, Trey gave his, and Daryl gave his. So that is the question. Do you know which each one of them is their favorite? And was there a reason behind without giving it away, guys, why you kind of picked them? I know, Trey, you said that yours was one that you used to watch all the time. You really liked this particular movie. Yeah, I don't know how to talk about it. I almost gave it away. To be honest, I clung myself. Here's a little hint. It's almost springtime. Yeah. And there is so many. Yeah. There's so many out there, too. It's funny, once they get to hear the correct answers, if they did see the show, the podcast, they probably know automatically. But yeah, when you guys said who was your favorite, I was like, okay, I get that. And then they did that, what was it, marry, kiss, kill or whatever to you. Yeah. That was funny. I laughed at that. Yeah, that was interesting. It's hard because I just want to kiss them all. Yeah. There you go. I'm a good guy. I want you. So, again, if you know, if you were watching the podcast, the guys actually told us who was their favorite horror mover character or horror movie, and each one of them, Jeff, Trey, and Daryl gave each one. So that is our trivia question. So, again, 717-902-9881, you get me. The very first person to get me, and I'll be able to know by the time stamp as to what time it came in, will win themselves a T-shirt courtesy of the guys down there at the My Haunted Manor USA. And we're also going to throw in a gift card, one of our eating establishments here in the Columbia area. And don't worry if you don't, you know, especially if you don't live here in Columbia, don't worry about it. If you're coming up to the manor, you can eat at the place, you know, when you get the gift card. So if it's right here in Columbia, you can use it right here in town, you know, come up to hang out and book a party or whatever you're going to do at the manor. So that would be great. So we'll wait for you guys to get that answer to us, and we'll announce the winner coming up on our Facebook page and our fan page, and I'll let the guys know so they can go ahead and share it. Is there any last-minute things that you want to share? Okay, JJ, what's this? Okay, go ahead. I just have one more question for you, Daryl. I was just wondering, like, what goes into you deciding to go to these locations and actually have, like, the show? Like, what made you decide to choose Samuel Miller Mansion? Like, what do you look for and all that stuff? That's a good question because there was a bunch of different locations that were in the running for my haunted manor. And I tell you, with Samuel Miller, I've been there on two different occasions. I did two different appearances over there in five years, and it was something about that building and the town that drew me to it. For one thing, it has the look. It's got that look, especially when you go inside. It's very deceiving. It's very big, and it's just got the feeling. The last time I was there, I did an event for Interstate Paranormal back last June before we started filming there and before we even decided to do my haunted manor, and the activity in the building that night was off the charts. Wow. So that was a big factor in it. It really was. We wanted a location. Plus, we wanted a location where the owners were very open and were wanting to build the location to a whole different level. And to find that, and you have all these things where it just fell into place. It was close to, I mean, we're all within an hour and a half of the location, so we could be there relatively quickly. Because I'm used to traveling all over the world. For me to be able to drive to a spot and get there with less than two hours is freaking amazing. But it's the town, too, man. It's the town, the vibe. It's a growing town. It's a thriving town. And people who are there in that town are very open to what's going on there with the location. And now we're finding all these different other locations in the town that are also very haunted. And they're asking us to come out and to investigate. So, yeah, there's a lot of factors there. It just worked. I can't say anything bad. We've all fallen into place with this location. And have you guys been down to the, I think it's under the market house, where the cells were, where they used to put prisoners? Oh, yeah, yep. We met with the town historian down there and did an interview and did a short tour of there. And it's someplace that we definitely want to go back and investigate. Yeah, yeah. It was a fun episode, too, yeah. That is great. That is great. Before I let you guys go, I know you've got a busy, busy day, and I really appreciate you taking the time to be on the air with us today. We were looking forward to that. It was great because when the guys from the U.K. were here, they had said, you know, you've got to check out the manor, you have to get down to Samuel Miller. And I was like, well, as soon as they're ready to go, we're going to get them on the air. So I'm glad that it worked out that even though you had some issues today with vehicles, that we were still able to get you on the air and participate in this interview because tonight is going to be a big, big night in Columbia and for you guys down there. So is there anything else you want to let our listeners know out there before I let you go? Well, this is the curse of the manor today. She doesn't say anything. Even the owner of the building, Rowdy, his car broke down. Really? They're trying to keep you away from the manor. They're trying to keep you away tonight. That's what it sounds like. They don't want yous around tonight. Nothing's going to stop us. Yeah, we actually still run it. We run a commercial for the Art Printing Company, which is part of there. We run a commercial for those guys because they were nice enough last year to print out our we had a big listener appreciation party last June for all our listeners, and they printed the tickets for us just for advertising. We continue to run the spot because we love those guys, and we really appreciate them doing that for us. I told them we're going to be doing more business with you because we have other projects and things coming up, so I'm glad that you guys are all part of all of that down there. Yeah, yeah, and there's a lot of big events coming up too, guys. I know you guys will be down there tonight. I'm correct on that, right? Yeah, JJ will be there. He's going to be there because he's actually going to do some live stuff for us with his phone. I may possibly pop down with him around 5 o'clock for the cutting ceremony, but then I have to head on out because I have some other stuff I have to do. Plus, I have an inner ear infection right now, so, you know, I don't want to come around and get dizzy. Yeah, no, we don't want that either. No. What we do, we have a better course. Right, right. So we're just going to not do that tonight. I'm like, no, I said to JJ, I'm like, I'm not entering that building tonight. If I heard about them spinning and stuff, their heads spinning, no, no, no, I don't need that right now yet. I won't mind it. I won't mind it. I enjoy doing paranormal stuff as well. Yeah, yeah. All right. Well, like I said, I appreciate you guys hanging out with us, and we will definitely be in touch. Anything that comes up, anything you want to post on our fan page, I think most of you guys have become part of the station now as far as our fan page, so you can kind of keep an idea as to what we've got coming on. And please keep us in mind. If you have any type of event that you need us there to do some broadcasting or whatever, we can do that. Like I said, JJ is going to be doing some live stuff tonight while you guys are down there. I'll make it official for you. You guys are the official radio station of my own manner now. Well, we appreciate that. Thank you so much. Thank you. Woo! You're always welcome there to do all our events, so please, we'll let you know. You'll see everything posted, and just shoot us a line and come on down. Yeah, I was a little disappointed because I did put out to three news stations here in the area. I only heard back from one, and I think the problem with that was it was CBS21 that the time frame just didn't hit because the way he worded it to me was, well, I've got to see if there's going to be cameras available. So, I mean, I'd be happy if they do show up down there tonight because they are the only ones that got back to me, and they're CBS21 out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. So, it would be great if they would show up in their van. I'd be really happy for you guys for them to show up. So, yeah, we did try it a few weeks before. Oh, yeah, we will be, too. We love it, man. Absolutely. We appreciate it. And like I said, you guys are the official radio station of my own manner now, and you're family. So, please, come on out. We appreciate it. Thank you so much. We appreciate it, guys. All right, J.J., we're going to let these guys go because I know they have a lot to do. Yeah, they've got a lot to do. They've got that ribbon cutting and everything ready. So, hopefully, I'll get down there with J.J. for the ribbon ceremony and get to meet you guys in person and stuff. Plus, we have some little magnets and stuff for you guys to put on your cars. And if anything else happens in between time, like anybody else's car breaks down or anything, let me know because then I'm showing up. I hope not. Or because I'm coming down, if my car shuts down on the way there, no, forget it. I'm staying away. All right. I'll run to that, man. There you go. There you go. All right. Check us out, guys, myhauntedmanor.com. Check out the My Haunted Project on social, and you can follow everything there. All right. Sounds good. All right. Well, Jeff, Trey, Daryl, we appreciate you being on the air with us, and we thank you so much. We wish you a great success, and happy paranormal out there tonight. Thank you. Have a great time with everybody. All right, guys, you have a great day. Thank you so much for being on the air with us. Yeah, thank you so much for being with us. Thank you. Okay. We'll talk to you later. All right. See you then. Bye-bye. All right, guys. We're going to disconnect there. All right. There we go. Very good interview. Yeah, but it was very, very well. Yeah, I mean, it went longer than I wanted to. I mean, we were going to only go half an hour, but it always happens when you're doing an interview because you've got so much to talk about. Yeah, yeah. And especially with a big event like this that is coming up with these guys. And we turned their things down here, so we did disconnect there. But yeah, with everything coming up tonight with the big grand opening, we thought it'd be just a good thing. We were looking forward to them being here in person, but it worked out perfect. Yeah, yeah. They were still able to call in, and we were still able to get that interview, you know. And like we said, things happen, you know, and it's out of our control. But it's so freaky, though, when you think about somebody's car down here actually wasn't working either here in Columbia. Yeah, yeah. That's like part of the manner, so. I just feel as if they're just like, nope, it ain't happening tonight. We're going to keep you back as much as we can. But them guys, man, them guys, they chase after this. Oh, yeah. You know, and it's something they love to do, you know. When you find something you like to do, you just keep running forward and keep pressing at it, you know. And keep going. Yeah, yeah. Well, it was great to have them, and I appreciate you kind of helping to set that up for us. Yeah, yeah. For getting that together and doing some filming tonight, as I said. J.J. will be down there. He'll be doing some Facebook stuff. Yeah, we'll be live on the actual Music Today S2 radio actual like page itself. On the fan page. Okay. So just keep your eyes peeled out for that. Keep sharing them posts that we have. Help them guys out. Get around, you know. Maybe, you know, you can stop out and visit because, like they said, they still have a couple extra tickets there. So if you're really into it, even if you don't believe in it, you know, it's still a fun time. Yeah, because there are still a lot of people that are skeptical of this whole thing. And they're like, you know, yeah, I don't believe that stuff. But I'll tell you, when you get to see stuff on video, people that are recording the stuff that you're hearing, yeah, it kind of freaks me out. And the people that are skeptics, they always talk down on that kind of stuff. Like they're just like, oh, you know, they have like a fishing line. You know, that thing fell because they pulled a fishing line or, you know, they added that sound in here. You know, that's not. But me personally, like I have seen some things and I have heard some things at places like Pennhurst. I've been there. And before the one, you know, building got torn down, you know, I was there and I looked up and there was a little kid just in the window. Wow. And I looked back and it was gone. Gone. You know, and I just, that's what makes me keep going. And something that was, yeah, something was brought up to me actually the other day with one of the videos I was watching. A friend of mine was sitting there with me. And they made the comment that children are usually the ones that like see these things or more than adults do or feel that. And I guess it's because they're more acceptable to it. Yeah, they're more prone. Like they're more of a not like in a bad way. Like they're not like a bad target. But they're like a target because they know that they're younger. They don't have a good like understanding. Like they understand, yes. Yeah. But like they're vulnerable per se, you know, to that thing. And even animals, you know, they can sense all that stuff too. So, again, if you need the website, it is, of course, www.myhauntedmanor.com. You'll see where you can book a visit. You can watch the show. And you can watch the My Haunted Project, which is out in the U.K. Those guys were here with us a couple months ago. And, you know, this actual interview will be available for those who did not get a chance to hear it. Just like all our regular interviews, it is, of course, it has been recorded. And we will actually have that on our page for you guys to tune in. And I definitely do recommend if you want to see like the behind-the-scenes footage and stuff that you actually won't get to see if you aren't subscribed, I do recommend it. It is not very expensive. It's like $6 or $7. Right. And you can actually, like they said right now, their cameras aren't live. But the My Haunted Hotel, they do have some live cameras that are accessible for you to watch when you subscribe. So definitely do subscribe to that so you can see all the behind-the-scenes footage and watch them live cameras. Because like they said, down the road here, they will have their cameras live eventually. We don't know them dates just yet, the time frame. But they did say down the road. So just make sure you go on there and you subscribe to that as well. Yeah. And I think that's like going to be fun for me because I'm one of those people that I would like to sit in the comfort of my home and kind of watch what is going on. So, yeah. Once they get those cameras up live, that's where I'll be. I'll be glued to the couch. But then when I see something, I'll freak out, you know. Yeah. And even like they said, even when the cameras are live and stuff, like if they're not there because they're going to be live 24-7. So like they're not doing a live investigation, you know. They always have that access to like they'll get notified. But if you do see something or hear something, you know, you could get in contact with them and say, hey, you know, this time frame. Right. At this spot, I heard this or I seen this, you know. That would help them out a lot, too. You know, they can go back and look at the footage and see if what you said is actually like caught. Right. Right. Well, it was a great experience. A lot of fun. And, again, we thank them, all three of them, Jeff, Trey, and Daryl. Go out tonight. If you did not get a chance to, you know, like they said, they will at 5 o'clock is the ribbon-cutting ceremony. And you can come on out and watch that because just about everybody from Columbia will probably be there for that. And so you can check that out tonight. That begins at 5 o'clock. And then I think he said he opened the doors at what, 7 or 6? The doors will open at 6 and the investigation, he said, will start at 7. 7. Okay. So it sounds good. It's going to be a great night. I appreciate everybody. I appreciate you, J.J., for coming in and hanging out with us in the last hour of the show here. And that is going to do it for the Michaels in the Midday Show. Once again, I appreciate everybody hanging with us and being part of the show all week long. John and Heidi are on the way next. They are coming up with more great music. What do we have? Music-wise, of course, our Flashback Friday continues. The Thompson twins are on the way. We've got the Vapes. You remember the Vapers with Turning Japanese? I don't like that song. But anyway, Montel Jordan and so much more is coming up next hour with...
