This is a transcription of a conversation between the host, Fidelia Coughlin, and the senior pastor, Mfundisi, on the theme of "a man in Christ, a new creature." The pastor explains that this theme is based on a verse from the book of Corinthians, where the apostle Paul defends his ministry and message. The pastor goes on to explain that being a new creature means being born of the Spirit and no longer living in the old ways. He discusses the process of justification, sanctification, and glorification in a believer's life. The pastor emphasizes the importance of being intentional and putting off the old ways in order to experience the newness that comes with being in Christ. The conversation also touches on the challenges and struggles that believers may face in their journey of faith. Overall, the theme seeks to help believers understand and live out their identity as new creations in Christ. I am your host, Fidelia Coughlin, and welcome to yet another powerful episode of Unpacking the Sermon, where we unravel, offer insight, and give perspective that we believe will leave you feeling inspired and, furthermore, enlightened. As you know, I am never alone. I am joined by our senior pastor, not only the apostle, he's also an author of two incredible books. Mfundisi, how are you doing today? I'm very well, thank you. Greetings to the viewers, greetings to everyone who's watching us wherever you are catching us. I'm excited again to be here. Nkulu nkulu, mso nkulu nkulu, namashe. Mfundisi, we are just as excited to have you back on our show and on this very hot seat. To the viewers at home, if there's any episode that you missed, catch the links in our description box and make sure to catch up on each and every episode. Mfundisi, so let us get into it. This month's theme, as we know, is a man in Christ, a new creature. Can you get into that? Thank you, Sister Fidelia, for that question. For the benefit of someone who has just joined us, I think it would be important for me to maybe briefly give a background of our theme, which we recently just started, a man in Christ, a new creature, which is taken from the second book of Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 17, and it reads as follows. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, and then it says, the old has passed away. Behold, the new has come. Just so that this verse makes sense, when you read Paul Lerner, he's actually writing this letter to defend his ministry to the Corinthian church. It seems as if after a while, after his first letter, and maybe even the experiences that he has been through, the sufferings and the things that he has went through in his mission to evangelize into the Gentiles. So rumors started that he started to doubt his call as an apostle because of the things that he's going through, and also because of the many bad things that he's going through as an apostle in his journey, they also started to doubt his message. So when he's writing this letter, he's writing this letter to solidify his ministry as an apostle to the church, as well as his message that he preaches. So I'm saying this so that it makes sense where I am. So as he's defending himself, when we get here, in verse number 14, which will link us to verse number 17, verse number 14, he says, for the love of Christ controls us. And then he says, because we have concluded this, so now this is his message. He's saying, this is what I preach, this is what I believe in. He says that one has died for all, and then he says, therefore, all have died. And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves, but for him who for their sake died and was raised. And then he says, because of his death, because of his resurrection, he says, we no longer look at men in the flesh. There was an implication, which we no longer look at men in the flesh. He says, he even says now, even Christ, we once looked at him in the flesh, but now we look at him no more. And then he says, for if anyone is in Christ, now he is introducing this, that something happens to a person when they come into Christ. That death and the resurrection has an impact for anyone who comes to him. Paul says, for anyone who is in Christ, that he is a new creature. And then he says, behold, the old has gone and the new has come. So when we are looking at a man in Christ, a new creature, we are trying to establish what does it mean to be a new creature? What does it mean to be a new person? What does it mean, and the life that he lived, that death that he died is no longer our portion because he was a failure. So the main reason for this theme is so that we get understanding as the church. When we quote this verse and say, you are a new creature, what does it mean? What implication does it have as a believer? What does it mean to be a new creation? It seems as if Paul, when he was choosing a word to use here, he didn't know which word would fit better because this was a different kind of a man. You see, when he decided to go with creature, the original Greek writing, it simply means a different kind of man. So this is not a natural man, the man who is after the order of Adam, but this is a new man, a man who is born of the Spirit. So he says, you are now a new creature. And he says, because you are now a new creature, there are new things that have come. There are new things, there is a new way of living. There are things that now belong to you rightfully. Why? Because you are in Christ. So the theme seeks to look at that. What does this mean? So that it just doesn't become what we just quote in passing, but it becomes a reality in our lives. When I've come to Christ, the Bible says, you are a new creature. So that is a guarantee, this is a consequence of coming into Christ. And then it says, because now you are new, So that is the old way of living. That is the old way of doing things. That is the old way of looking at life. It says, behold, the new has come. How do we access this new thing? So this is what the theme is about. Because the writer does something, as I'm bringing back to you now. The writer says, the old has gone. And then he says, behold. So he doesn't say the old has gone and the new has come. But he says, behold. You may not experience the new things that have come. So this is the beholding that we are doing, as we are digging deep into this creature. Because if we don't behold, we may never experience these new things that have just come. Because I was about to ask, if you're saying new creature, does it suddenly just happen that you are a new creature and your old way of doing things. Because truth is, even if we get born again, there's still some things that we struggle with. But now, I think you clarified it for me. Mounting, behold. So I think between, if I'm hearing you right, you are saying that between the old and the new days, there's a process. I like where you are going. And it will help someone. Let me just touch this. This will help someone. You see, when it comes to this thing, your salvation, there are processes, and the Bible puts them nicely and clearly. The first process in our salvation is called justification. Where we move from being condemned by God. We have telegrams all over our heads. But immediately when you receive Christ, when you come into Christ, the Bible, we are justified. So that comes just by faith. And it's a once-off thing. It never happens again. It's a once-off thing. You are justified. Just by saying, I receive Jesus, you are justified immediately. But the second step is what we call sanctification. Now, sanctification is when now, the Word of God, the Spirit of God, cleanses you of the effects, yes or no, in your life. Now, that is a process. It is a process whereby now, the Holy Spirit helps you to cleanse your mind, to help you until you become like us. That is called sanctification. And then there's what we call the last step, which is glorification. That will happen when Jesus comes back. This is when That's why the Bible, he justified. Those that he justified, he sanctified. And those that he sanctified, he then glorified. So you see, it's a process. The first one is a once-off thing. You are justified immediately. According to God, you are perfect. You are sinless. You are exactly like Christ when you are justified. But in the flesh, maybe I'm still struggling with alcohol. I'm still struggling with But I'm being sanctified. Now, to be sanctified, it happens gradually. So this is now the beholding, when you allow the works. And this happens by means of grace. So this happens as we behold, as we read the Word, as we meditate on the Word, as we continue to pray, as we attend services. This is what we call the means of grace. We are being sanctified until we become like Christ. So this is the behold, is the process where we are sanctified. Then we are going to experience these new things. Uffy Taylor does no longer do things like she used to do. Uffy Taylor does no longer take things like she used to do. She doesn't look at life like she used to do. She doesn't go through problems like she used to do. Why? It's because the new things are slowly coming. But in God, you already have all those things, but they just need to manifest in the reality. I think for me, this theme came at a moment I think I needed it. Because if I could like Shegang Man, I've been born again since 2018. And in my work, it's like something happens. And every time it's like one thing that always, not triggers, but that sets me back. So, am I not fully a new creature because of that? You see, Paul when he addresses this in the book of Ephesians, he says, he says, put off, right? You see, that's a responsibility that he gives to us. He says, put off the old man and his ways. You see, you have to be intentional. It's like, because he uses the analogy, you cannot, if you want to wear something else, you have to be intentional. I value this because you have a new one. But he says, put off the old man and his ways. And then he counts things. He counts idolatry, and sexual immorality. He counts all those things, right? The deeds, but he says, put them off. One of the things, as Muslims, in our walk of faith, we neglect the party whereby we need to put off some of the things. There are things that you need to know. Okay, this is a trigger. You know, I can even see where we were as I was talking to them. I don't know, it will depend. But satan understands one thing, right? He understands our weakness. Wherever, he is always going to bring the very thing that you are struggling with. So, just as the Bible, in fact, the story of the prodigal son, satan does the same thing. So, he always brings the same thing. But it's still the same thing. You have to open your eyes. The Bible says, be vigilant, be sober. You've got to see the things that are a trigger, or that will take you back where you used to be. And avoid them until you gain strength. You will not win this thing overnight. As you are being made, as you are beholding, as you are growing, you've got to be aware, this is a trigger, this is something that I've got to stay away, so that it does not keep on taking you back. Because whatever step back you take, it pushes you away. And when you neglect the means of grace, I think it's in the book of Colossians, just as you have received Christ, and then he says, walk in that way. How did you receive Christ? By grace. By grace. How do we then continue in Christ? By grace. So you've got to continue to use the means of grace in order to ensure that you don't fall where you used to fall. So continue. Don't neglect the word. Don't neglect prayer. Don't neglect fellowship. Don't. Because those are the things that will help you to grow as you are beholding. As these new things are coming, they're not going to come at the same time. You're going to beat this one. You may be struggling with this one, but you've beaten this one. And you continue to move. So don't give up. Number one, if you're struggling with certain things, and maybe let me say this, don't deal with things in private. Don't deal with things in private because sin grows in private. Expose sin. So in the sense that when I'm struggling, they're struggling with pornography, for example, and the more you do that, the more you are going to fail in that fight. If you want to beat something, make sure that you expose it. And whatever is exposed, it loses a mantra. But let me tell you, in God, the new has already come. You just have to continue to do the things until they manifest in your life. Thank you for that, I'm afraid. I think for me, it's sort of a breakthrough and an encouragement because sometimes we put out pressure, like too much pressure on ourselves. Then something is happening. As you said, the new is already here. Let's get into mainly yesterday's sermon, which was titled, let me say, In Christ. And you took that from our main scripture of this month's theme. And I think I like the way you, the angle you took in it. I think before continuing with that, can you tell us about spiritual keys and what they are? All right. What led for me to come in that direction, Sister Taylor, and maybe for Umugele Apegile, as I continue to study the scripture, I saw, there's a key that you need in order for you to experience what the Bible says. The Bible says, if anyone is in Christ, and then the promises that comes with being in Christ. It says, you are a new creature, a new person, or a new creation. Then it says, the old has passed away, behold the new has come. So now these are the consequences of being in Christ. The key to unlocking the new creature, the old things passing away, and the new things coming away, is this, in Christ. This is a key. For anyone who is going to experience these promises that come with this, must understand clearly this concept, this phrase, in Christ. And then I said it's a key. And then I explained to you, in the kingdom, in the book of Matthew chapter 16, I think many people know this scripture, you are now Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and then verse number 19, I will give you keys of the kingdom. And then it says, whatever you bind on earth, it will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth, it will be loosed in heaven. So Jesus is simply telling us, there are keys that are required in the kingdom of God, for you to access easily, to easily show you. You don't just quote scriptures, and then things happen. But there are keys that need to be operated in the kingdom, in order for you to benefit from certain things, as he says. What are keys? I said keys. Keys are what we call the truths, or the principles behind the word, the verses. Some verses come with keys with them. If I want to access what the Bible says, I've got to understand these keys. I touched on three things, Messian. Keys are important in the kingdom. When you speak of keys, because Jesus says, I will give you keys. And then he says, whatever you bind, it will be bound. Whatever you loose, it will be loosed. We quote this in our prayers, we bind this, we bind the devil, we bind poverty, we bind, we loose, we loose. But we forget, Jesus said, I will give you keys. Before you can bind, before you can loose, for the heavens to beg you out, you've got to know the key. Of course, it's not everything. There are keys that are needed to operate certain things. You don't release things in the kingdom because you prayed on them. But there are keys. Even prayer itself, maybe not as, it's not a good way to say it, but even prayer is a key on certain things. There are things that require you to pray for them to access them. Giving is a key. If you want to access financial breakthrough, you've got to use the key, which is giving. We spoke about that in our last episode, the importance of giving. In the kingdom of God, it is a key to unlock financial breakthrough. It is a key to unlock wealth in the kingdom of God. It's a key that you need to operate. So Jesus said, I will give you a key. And then he says, whatever you bind, whatever, and he doesn't say a key. There's no master key. There are keys. When you want lifting, there's a key that you need to operate. When you want favor, there's a key that you want to operate. If you want to walk in power, in authority, there's a key that you have to operate. So there's no generalization. When you have a master key, when you operate this key, you can be powerful prayer-wise, be powerful, you know, cast out demons, and still be poor as a church mouse. Why? Because you don't operate the key. We know of a prophet in the book of Kings. He was a prophet. Although he was powerful in delivering a word, but there was a key that was not operating because it died in death. So it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So you cannot just say, I have a master key. I pray. I pray. You will pray, yes, you will pray, but you will not access certain things. You do not pray for excellence in your life. It requires a key. It's diligence. It requires, you know, a certain mindset or whatever. So these are what we call the truths behind. When you find the truth behind this verse, you can now push that truth, and it releases the power that is behind that verse. So these are the keys. And I said keys, three things quickly. Keys represent access. Keys represent authority. Keys represent power. When you get a key, you get all these things. So when I said, in Christ is then a key. When you operate, when you understand what this phrase, in Christ, means, you can now begin to experience being a new creature. You can now experience old things passing away. You have not operated keys. That's why, as you are saying, you're still going forward and still going back because there's a key that you have not operated that will help you to move the old things, really becoming old in your life and beginning to see the new things in your life. Mfundisi, thank you for that. We'll be continuing with this conversation after the break. Welcome back to the viewers at home and wherever you're catching us from. We are still unpacking the sermon with Mfundisi Sfiso-Twala. Mfundisi, I'm just going to read some of the questions from our WhatsApp church group. One of them says that, could non-Christians possess the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit One of them says that, could non-Christians possess keys that operate in the Christian faith? Very good question. Very good question. And my simplest answer would be yes. Let me try to break it down very briefly. Number one, there are things that are accessed by relationship. So those are things that are gotten by a man who has a relationship with God. That's why the Bible tells us that So now we speak of inheritance. We speak of salvation. We speak of spiritual blessings. Now those are things that are only received by relationship. That can be accessed by principles. As long as you know principles or keys, you will access those things. For example, let me use the easiest example. The Bible says, That's a key. That's a key for anyone who wants to be elevated. Believer or unbeliever, if you have a humble spirit, people like you, people favor you. It's a principle that anyone can access. You don't have to be a born again to access that favor. Everyone just likes them. Why? They have this thing. The Bible says, That is a principle. Number two, that can be accessed giving. We have Muslims who give. We have Amachuta who give. We've got a band of people who give us. We've got your gift of the givers. It's a Muslim organization. They give. They are everywhere. And the more they give, the more people come in to give. Because it's a principle. So there are things that you can access just by knowing the right keys and operating the right keys. But there are better things that are accessed by those who have a relationship with God. And those are greater spiritual blessings which are greater than all the others that you can receive from just knowing the keys and the truth. Thank you for that. In yesterday's sermon, there is a key that you released in our theme scripture, which was in Christ. Can you just briefly talk about that? As I already said earlier, Sister Fidelia, that I noticed as I'm busy going through studies, studying this verse, that it is loaded than we would like to think. There is something into this in Christ. Because it seems as if when you understand in Christ, then it opens all of these things that come. But it comes with understanding what does it mean to be in Christ. On the surface, it looks like a simple thing for anyone who is in Christ. But it's actually deeper than that. And once you understand the depth of it, you have unlocked the key which is for anyone who is in Christ. How do we do that? We have to do a word study. One of the benefits, one of the disadvantages of our translations, whether it's English, whether it's Zulu, whatever vernacular language that we have, is that as they translate from Greek or Hebrew into our languages, there is something that we lose. Because our languages are small, are young. I may use that word. They are young. So they are not as descriptive. They are not as broad and as rich as these two languages that the Bible is written in, which is Hebrew and Greek. So the passage you are talking about is written in Greek originally. So I had to look at this phrase, in Christ. What is it that I can get out of it? Number one, I had to do a word study. And I was locked. Google this word, in. Because in English, it's just in. It's just as simple as that. But when you go into Greek, it's deeper. And the more you understand what it means, those things, there are three things that I picked up. Only then, when this in Christ becomes a key that you can use to access what the Bible says belongs to you. Number one, the word in comes from a Greek word, which is en. Which is E-N. E-N. En. And it has three significant definitions. These are significant in understanding what Paul meant, Magati, for anyone, for if anyone is in Christ. Number one, so that I don't take a lot of time, the word en, number in, in Greek means union. When Paul says, for anyone who is in Christ, he meant for anyone who is united with Christ. For anyone who is one with Christ. Now we have to go through that to understand. And you can simply catch that. Paul describes this concept of union with Christ in the book of 1 Corinthians 6, verse number 16 and 17, where he talks about for anyone who unites, who joins himself, in fact the NIV puts it where it says, for anyone who unites himself with a prostitute, he becomes one with them. And then he says, for it is said that two shall be one. So this en is a powerful one. It is the same concept that God uses for married couple. For the Bible says, they are no longer one but two. So this unit, the more married people become united, the more they become one. The more they look even the same. When Paul says, for anyone who is united, when you unite yourself with Christ, you are becoming more and more like him. There are implications of becoming, of being in Christ. Number one is that you are more becoming like Christ. The more you are united with him. And that comes with reading the word. That comes with your commitment in prayer. That comes with your intimacy in the place of prayer. So the more you are united with Christ, the more you are becoming like Christ. So that is number one in this concept. Number two, the word N also means to be fixed. It means to be fixed in a place. So this speaks about to be rooted in Christ. So when Paul says, for anyone who is in Christ, he means for anyone who is fixed. Someone who is rooted in Christ. Someone who is not moved in Christ. Someone who has their roots deep down in Christ. So now you are beginning to understand, oh, it is not just for one community or one Christ. But it actually means more than that. I have to be in union with Christ. I have to be one with him. I have to be one with the word of God. What Christ is, I must become that. Number two, I have to be fixed. I cannot be just moving around. I have to be rooted. My roots have to be deep down in Christ. I have to be grounded in Christ. I have to... You know, Jesus says in the book of John, he puts this concept clearly. He says, I am the vine and my father is a vine treasurer. And then he says, I am the vine, you are the branches. And then he says, abide in me and me in you. And then he says, you are going to bear fruits. Oh, so Christ is saying, totally connect to me. Totally depend on me. There must be no second option. Jesus must be your source. He must be the one that sustains you. When you are in Christ, it means Jesus is your source, he is your sustainer, he is your go to place. So this is what it means to be fixed in him. So it is not a mix. Tina, I also touched yesterday. Tina, we are mixing Jesus with a lot of things. Jesus is the vine, Jesus is the branches, Jesus is the branches and the branches. He is not one. We are not fixed in him. But we are balanced. That is why we are not experiencing the realities of being in Christ. And the last one, I said, in this N, it also means rest. You are not only united with Christ, you are not only fixed in him, but you are also resting in Christ. Even when things are moving around around you, but you are just rested in him. Why? Because your total trust is in this God. So this is a key. So it is not just for anyone who is in Christ. It does not speak for anyone who is just born again. But it means someone who is united with Christ. Someone who is fixed in Christ. Someone who is resting in Christ. And then this person is a new creature. This person will see the old becoming a past. And will begin to experience these new things. But you have got to be in Christ. What does that mean? I have to be united. I have to be one with Christ. I have to be fixed in him. I have to be grounded in him. Number three, I have to be resting in him. This is what it means. It is a key. When you understand this truth, this principle, and you begin to operate it in your life as a born again Christian, I don't just say, I go to church. But I am actually fixed in him. I am not moved in him. I am one with God. You know the Bible says in the book of Genesis, Until he was swallowed by God himself. This is what needs to be happening. Walk until your life is swallowed by the word of God. Until people see the word of God in your life. That is union. That is to be united with God. And to be fixed. And also to rest in Christ. I think, Fundis, as I am listening to you, you are making me want to look at you in a very different way than all of you. I am hearing you saying, If a man be in Christ, this is what happens. I am even remembering of scriptures like, Give, it shall be given. So the key is to give, and this is what happens. The key is to seek, and this is what happens. I love what you are saying. I love what you are saying. You are spot on. You see all of those things. When I was talking about the keys and the principles, as we look at the word of God, we don't just look at it on the surface. But we look at the word of God with awe. So before I receive, there is a key which is to give. So it is the giving that will open up the receiving. Because we quote these things, it will be given upon you abundantly, overflowing, and pressed down. We focus on what will happen. We neglect what must be done. And that is the key. This is how we say, seek and you will find. So the seeking is a key that will open the finding. So this is how we look at scriptures. When we read the scriptures, we don't just look at the surface, but we look at what is the truth that God wants me to understand here. What is the principle that needs to be learned here. For you it is given to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. So the keys are also the mysteries. Because once you understand the mystery, it opens up the power that is locked in the word of God. I love the way you are putting it. And this is what, as a Muslim, I need to understand. I don't just read the word, and begin to claim things, and declare things, without operating the keys. Because keys are the ones that will give you access to the things of God. Thank you for that. And just to say this also, it reminds me like, if you have to give an unbeliever a Bible, some of the things they laugh at, because they can't really understand them. And they miss the keys. And we can't be Christians that also miss the things that are pegged in the word of God. It's powerful. Other questions from our WhatsApp group. Someone says, accessing the things made available in Christ. Uti, I am a born again Christian. I try to keep the faith that things will get better. I will get that job. I will be out of my debts. But the more I try to have faith, the more things get harder. How do I continue to have faith? And it continues to say, how often do I need to pray in order to access the things available in Christ? I think in one of the, maybe let me start here. In one of the services that we had in the past week, as we were expanding on the things, the new things that have come. I touch that when you, Uti, when you read the Bible, Paul, number one, in the book of Ephesians, chapter one, verse number three, he puts it this way. He says, blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. And then he says, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings. So he calls them these things. Uti, there are things that he has already blessed. He will bless us. He has already blessed us. He calls them spiritual blessings. When you go to, I actually love the NIRV version on the same verse. Uti, give praise to the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Listen to what he says. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. And then he says, those blessings come from the heavenly world. And then he says, they belong to us because we belong to Christ. So goodness is in that God has prepared for us. That is already given to us. Those things now, they belong to us. Why? Because we are in Christ. Because we belong to Christ. And then, where is this? I want to put this. He also, Uchi Eswe, and I put it this way, in the book of John, he says, the father loves the son. And then he says, he has given all things to him. So there are things that are given to us. There are things that, they belong to God, but he has given them to Jesus. And now they belong to us because we are in Christ. Now, these are the things that behold, the new has come. So these are the things. How do you access them? The question that you have asked me, how do I access these things? Because the more I have faith, the more wins there are. We also looked at, we used the pattern of the woman, with the issue of blood. Just because things belong to you, doesn't mean they are going to come on a silver platter. You've got to understand that. But the Bible tells us, there are three things that you need to understand. Number one, when we look at this woman, the Bible says, she heard, she heard about Jesus. And when you read this, in the book of Luke chapter 8, the same story, verse number 47, this woman, I was desperate to touch, which is my bamboo stick, I was desperate to touch you, Jesus. And then she says, for I knew, I knew if I could touch the garment. Number one, if you are going to access these things that belong to you, number one, you have to have revelation knowledge. You've got to possess knowledge. What moved this woman, was what she knew about Jesus. I said, there was so much noise, there was so much commotion, because of his fame has already spread around. But the knowledge they had about him, was not sufficient for them to move. So what moved this woman, was the things that she knew already about this Jesus. So when she heard, that's why we can preach the same verse in church, someone will receive something and benefit from it. But the difference is, what do we do? We don't preach the same verse in church. We don't preach the same verse in church. We don't preach the same verse in church. We don't preach the same verse in church. We don't preach the same verse in church. The difference is, what do you know about what you have heard? So this woman, the probability she knew. So that is number one. You've got to know. It is knowledge that releases a mantra. Number two, we said, how do you access these things? We spoke about faith. The Bible says this woman had faith. If only I can touch, I will be made whole. Faith is a driver that will push you. Even when things are not happening, faith will push you towards those things. And then the last one is prayer. She pressed into the crowd. Pressing on means there was resistance. Pressing on means there was resistance. Just because you believe in something, just because you know that it belongs to you, it doesn't mean you will just receive it. Now prayer is the one that pushes us through until we receive what rightfully belongs to us. until we receive what rightfully belongs to us. You've been praying, you've been believing God for His angel. Continue to pray, because prayer pushes us, but it also moves His angel. You will say to this mountain, Be moved, and it shall be moved. And for if you pray and believe, it shall be yours. So, prayer is what moves His angel that is standing before us, between us and what we need. So, prayer. How often? Pray. Push means pray until something happens. Pray until you see it. Pray until it happens. So, you don't put a... Continue to pray on it. Continue to believe. Continue to grow yourself in terms of your knowledge. And you are going to experience that thing. So, this is a formula, if I may put it that way, for a look of a better way. Know. Grow your knowledge. Read the Word. Know what belongs to you. Know the truth, the keys that you need. Number two, have faith. So, you are prepping what is in the Spirit until it manifests. But you've got to continue to pray. Because prayer is what pushes you until you access what belongs to you. Mfundisi, thank you very much for that. I think before we go, on a break, we're going to touch on one question from our members, who passed down Malitati Twala. And it reads as follows. Last week, Sunday, Mfundisi was talking about knowledge. We need to know what it means to be a new creature. And he kept on quoting Upol, who said, For we know, for we know, for we know. Where do I find this knowledge? And is reading the Bible alone at home enough? Thank you. Thank you very much to that question. It is key. The sermon title, which is available on our YouTube channel, you can just go and search for it. It's titled, For we know. This is what Paul continued to mention before he got to the point, for if any man be in Christ, there are things that as a believer, you need to know that they belong to you. Whatever you are ignorant to, you will not benefit from. And this is one of the biggest problems that we have as a church, as a Bazalwan. We are ignorant of what rightfully belongs to us. We think we can just pray anyhow and things happen. Even in our prayers, we just touch whatever and hopefully we are going to hit the nail somewhere. So knowledge becomes important if you are going to walk in what the Bible says are new things that have come. What are these new things? Where do I find these new things? These things are locked in the Bible. Some of the things that Upol talks about in the book of Ephesians, he outlines these things. They may sound as concepts, but they are power when you begin to really go through them. Some of the new things that he talks about, he says he chose us in him before the foundations of the earth. He says we are adopted as his children. He says we are accepted as the beloved. He says through the blood of Jesus we are redeemed. He says we have received the forgiveness of sin. He talks about knowing the mystery of his will. He talks about the inheritance that is in Christ. So these are the things that are for us. You can break these things down and you will see how much power that the word of God has given us as these new creatures. But the problem is if you do not know something you will accept everything that comes your way. We are receiving because we don't know Christ was made poor that we may become rich. You may walk defeated because you don't know that the Bible says you are more than a conqueror. You may walk in sin, in condemnation because you don't know what the Bible says. There is now no more condemnation for those that are in Christ. Now these are the things that become power to us but they only happen when you know them. So Paul continues to say for we know. He says for we know that when this body, this tabernacle passes away we have a house that is not made with the hands. These things are what we know as new creatures. He says for we know. These are the things that he continues to outline before he says for any man who is in Christ. So if you are going to experience these new creature realities in your life, you've got to know things. Is reading the Bible at home enough? No. It is not. You need someone who is going to teach you. You need someone who is going to groom you. You need someone who is going to help you to understand this. We are speaking about the keys. It is not anyone who can see the keys in the word of God. It takes someone to teach you until the Holy Spirit as well. You are grown enough to pick up these things for yourself. We do not teach you so that you can always be sitting under. But we teach you so that you can grow so that you can also teach other people. But it doesn't start with you reading the Bible. You can read the Bible at home. It will look like a novel. You need someone who is going to help you until you are old enough to. So make sure that you fellowship and then you are going to grow and you will be able now and now to look at the word and begin to pick things there because you have grown enough. Thank you Al for that. The power of knowing and I think there is a scripture that says my people perish because of the lack of knowledge. And it shows just how important knowing is. Fundisi will continue just right after the break. Welcome back to the viewers at home and wherever you are catching us from. We are still speaking on Amen in Christ, a new creation. And in closing Fundisi, I have a question from Ubab Mlangeni on our Facebook page and he says, Fundisi said that there are false confessions. Can you explain to us what are those false confessions? Yes. So there are false confessions. Can you expand on that? Okay. Maybe not confessions I said false confessions. Where because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because because
