political wording because that contract hasn't come through yet or they're going and joining another org i've seen potentially optic could be picking them up that's a rumor whether there's any any weight to that i don't really know wait wait you said optic optic yeah but the object doesn't have an apex team anymore but they might do if it's this team because because because like if it's this team then this team will win dominate like sure well or should dominate like it's literally like um it's like an absolute god squad you know what i mean saying that we've always had the discussion before about a pet like optic not having a name but yeah and we reckoned it was the sort of the wage bill for daltouche is that his name yeah daltouche yeah we've always got that wish build that and that how was leaving when his contract expired after the most recent um event then that would also go to uh go so far and explain in as to why potentially they say seemed a little bit off when they were playing at the event tsm yeah i mean yeah definitely um but you know it's all this is all conjecture there's no way for us to really know but absolutely huge groundbreaking news groundbreaking see that happening but then also like he's kind of conducting his own little experiment over at luminosity so whether he wants to abandon that to get that tsm money and team with two really good problem with new york they're just very inconsistent yeah this new the new roster they've got with fucking yeah it just doesn't doesn't seem to be hit no there's something not quite right about it i'm awakening now being released it just seems to be diving deeper and deeper into something i just don't see them pulling out yeah they do get better online that's the only benefit i could probably say for them but i've not a lot of confidence legion with the new pickup of johnny it's the the only game they got to play was against boston so that's going to be an interesting one to see how that goes into the major um boston finally won a search holy shit yeah they finally won a search that was their one against uh against legion what were they they were what did i say last week 13 searches without a win went to 14 no 14 went to 15 and then they finally won one after 15 losses in a row for search they finally won one uh ultimately didn't come to anything because they still fucking lost against the legion so i aside this one still doesn't look that great and then phase doing what phase do winning and surge with no real fucking difficulty lost one fucking map but shooting bodies probably i didn't want i didn't actually i didn't watch it i couldn't i didn't have time to watch it so i'd imagine you could probably it's a safe bet that somebody in that team shot bodies we're gonna sell last week against who was it against last week to sell this started doing it like first map like like one of like the early kills against legion we're just shooting bodies against legion or ravens early on it's just such a wind-up merchant and then moving on to sunday the 12th of may heretics three lat nil ultra three new york sublinners one lat one optics three so heretics being the lat managed to confirm them winners bracket for this major even though it looked quite bleak there's their uh split for this uh run up to the major looked quite bleak they were underperforming massively made the change to get real in who is coming in and has managed to secure them winners um ultra i'll talk about lat and optic first optic played an unbelievable search uh no search a hard point um of money that i'm paying for that team oh yeah you should expect it yeah i mean you should be that's what you expect especially against that i mean i don't mean to disrespect lec but like they are a weaker team you know yeah they're a weaker team that's called a spider spread they're not as good as optic like you expect that sort of thing to happen yeah but it's nice to see that this is the capability that you have is like at the end of the day it's just four players and it's four players they're all very good in their own respect yeah you can if that's what you can produce unbelievable which speaking of hard points brings us on to the new york oh this is the only thing that i saw right what did you see did you see the hard point result or what happened in the second hard point on game four i saw it was it was one screenshot right and it was like new york this score yeah okay yeah this is the score and then it was like the same thing and it was just like what yeah yeah so this was map one hardpoint vista now vista is an incredibly difficult map new york the one that when toronto played it the other week against phase they kind of like shit a little bit yeah um both the teams had only played once they had both lost each time um i believe new york was the best on rotation but the worst on holds also were the worst on rotations but the best on holds in like in the compared to the two teams okay yeah so we go through an entire set of rotations how many rotations on a map um five five or six i think it's five um by the end of it coming back to p1 it was 171 to new york 49 to ultra yeah so a hut was 123 121 uh 22 score lead two full set of rotations two full set hills ahead with three minutes 58 left in the clock they then proceeded to new york but then proceeded to lose that map 244 to 250 i love that fucking what in the fuck shot in new york man like unbelievable like to drop that much it's ridiculous that you can't like you don't even need to get you can get scrap time and probably do better do you know i mean like you have the ability these are like the top teams like the ultra in new york are classified in the top four top four teams they should not be allowing this to happen it is an entire breakdown of what of what their like their whole squad is which brings back to the starting point of new as you said new york is so inconsistent that this roster just doesn't seem to be able to continue like good form yeah yeah yeah they just can't do what they like it's like three no against heretics on the third of may three no against legion on the fourth of may um obviously they lost 31 to phase which is not something to be i'm not nothing to write like to go on about because it's it's face they're like the best team in the game period um they lost three twos against ravens on the 19th of april that's a fucking shocking loss 31 to surge on the 20th of april again another shocking loss and then you go back even further 31 against rocker it's further again three nil against ultra they can beat ultra you know like it's like they have this ability but there's just no coordination and consistency to get those games sorted and put to bed yeah i mean maybe that's maybe that's the problem right is a close shot i mean i wouldn't say it's like the biggest worry for them i guess because like i feel like like what last season they wouldn't made one and then they were like pretty bad for the entire year and then they come out in champs and they slap everyone yeah you know i mean it's like you know i feel like you know they've got the players they've got the capacity and the capability to really get into the reasons why and to dial this in yeah so maybe we could see a back-to-back well i just don't think that we will because like to add on to the i just don't think that's going to be a thing to add on to the inconsistency of not being able to finish out games they've won the search nobody's fine one one one catches kismet who then dies yeah number eight who is kleenex catches sib trying to get on the cross which then leaves skies left on the hill by himself to deal with three of them he gets none of them they four stack it and win uh yeah it went from six six lives to six lives for ultra and that's our 12 lives to ultra six lives to new york with 9.4 seconds left to being a four man dead no chance of fucking losing it now you know what you know what i think the issue with the way that new york has set up there is what's that is sib i think sib's positioning makes that like a two-two split um because no one's really watching down the main street i would say right you know i mean and it's like it just opens him to be able to be isolated a little bit because it's like kismet has to protect him because kismet's the only one who can watch his back right yeah but at the same time like sib okay sib can control like in front of the hill but like if either of those two dies if either like three or four dies like then the situation just in for you know i mean i don't know man i just feel like their field so for me kismet is trying to put it kismet tries to push out from the top gas he tries to come out to get into the mid which then opens up the the route from behind them obviously they try to push out so he's on top of petrol yeah and he jumps off to come around the back of rugs to then come around the back of laundry corner to like in front of the hill like the middle of the hill he doesn't need to do that because he for me somewhat like the best way of trying to capture a on invasion is to come around the back that's you get they come on the back you stop their close spawns it pushes them all the way out yeah yeah so it's obviously in laundry he's trying to watch the cross who is he's in the middle of a gun fight the scrap and gets caught by kleenex just coming through yeah so yes he is in a it might be in a wrong position for watching his right but he's also in the right position to watch the left and the push but i feel like because insights in the position that he's in and he kills hydra who for me hydra oh yeah like that like that's like the hydra dying is the the key to unlocking that cell phone but that's the thing is it's like kismet comes off envoy comes out of rugs kismet's looking at him and kismet loses the gunfight but as he's taking that gun hydra dies yeah so then yeah and also as hydra dies so sib is then going to look over he's trying to watch the cross and gets and engages in scrap and then kleenex just gets the perfect timing that he nobody's looking at him and takes the night yeah yeah yeah so what we're saying is is that kismet should have been setting up the uh the tent in the little chair yeah in fact what he set up was the storm roof because he fucking sold and like there went four dead and they spawned out like in the car park where you would spawn for like a surge game yeah and at that point it's a four-man stack and it's like 4b 4b2 4b4b2 yeah they've got trophies down 3.4 seconds left on the hill when they get in and they win it like that um which then proceeds to scraps shouting in the camera i fucking own you point pointing and showing in the camera we still don't have a we don't have the voice on that um which then which then okay this gets even fucking worse we go into hard point number two game four two one in the series ultra are winning happy days no worries ultra start they lose p1 p2 this is karachi hardpoint sorry lose p1 to p2 long the new york held it quite well contrast p3 p4 all the way down so like baxter is like the one of the ogs of european halo yeah um and i think they placed top four this week in the lcq so it's like they're you know they've shown progression as well um bittersweet after their announcement today so bittersweet eu is warlord looney hi i'm ninj and they've picked up batchford again um batchford warlord and looney were part of the mocket esports team with squashy who just absolutely ran things in europe in halo 5 um so i think that's also a team to look out for and then i've also got three na teams we got passion united which is my scuds palpheus and faticus who i think played really well at the last event yeah so i'm like i'm excited to see what they can do at this one uh native gaming obviously like definitely one to look out for which is guilty barcode apg and mcqueen um and reversal percy is apparently looking for a sponsor to cover their travel which is common cherish breaking shot and haynes and i think that they will um that's also a really good team um i think you know i think all six of those teams stand a chance and then two honorable mentions queen three or mlg queen is registered for a team pass there's no one else on our team at the moment but like any team that she's involved with i feel is going to be not one to be taken lightly um and then onvore apparently also has a team pass or onvore is registered on a team but at the same time like some players on that team and other teams so i'm not really sure what's going on with that but if onvore does turn up with a team that team will also be one to keep an eye out for yeah progressing through the open bracket you know i mean i mean i've got native gaming pretty much nailed on to make the the pools if they don't that's a serious serious issue first of all yeah if they
